The Denton Hotels Christmas gala has always been a big deal, but this Christmas must be the most extravagant ever. Billionaire Mitch Denton’s CEO father is set to make a major announcement at this year’s gala, and Mitch hopes it’s what he’s been waiting for: his promotion to head of the company. Mitch is more than a little surprised when Jules Cardwell, assistant to the now-AWOL event planner, … walks into his office, ready to oversee the gala’s planning. With so much on the line, he doesn’t need the distraction of a beautiful woman like her. When they find a real baby in the manger just as a major snowstorm rolls in, the two have little choice but to rely on each other. In Mitch’s luxury penthouse.
Jules tells herself she’s staying for the good of baby Noelle. It’s not because Mitch is gorgeous, rich, charming, and everything Jules has tried to avoid in a man. It’s difficult for her to breathe whenever he’s near. Worse, he’s sweet and kind and makes her heart ache in a way that’s not at all welcome. With Christmas drawing closer, the two work frantically during the day to make the gala perfect, but the nights are completely different. They’re hot and swoon-worthy, and Jules never wants them to end.
But just as Jules thinks they might actually become a real family, she gets a cold splash of reality: this is just a holiday romance. She could never fit into Mitch’s world, and even the magic of Christmas can’t change that.
When Mitch is given everything he’s ever strived for professionally, he realizes the one thing he truly wants might soon be gone forever.

Mitch and Jules book is the second book in the Denton’s Christmas series and is another great read. I just loved Mitch and Jules and thought they were great characters that you just cannot help but root for this was a pretty sweet romance and I would recommend it
These two are thrown into a situation unexpectedly and they thrive together while dealing with it all. Their romance is slow going at first, but then it explodes. There’s always gotta be some drama, but this one was an easy fix and they all receive their HEA

As they are touring the property they find a baby. They take the baby up to his penthouse and decide what to do. They take the baby to Social Services but it is so busy they go back to his penthouse and decide to care for the baby until after the holidays. Things are going fine for them until Jules gets sick and she calls Jaxton for help but he does not answer her call. She was told that he had a business meeting but she finds him with another woman and it looks like he is having a good time. Jaxton looks at his phone and sees that Jules has called so he calls her back and she tells him that she doesn’t need anything from him. She now puts distance between them and Jaxton wants to know why. They work things out until the night of the Gala when Jaxton’s father said some things about her and Jaxton did not stand up for her. She goes and gets her things along with the baby and walks away from him.
Will Jules give Jaxton another chance or will she tell him to go?
Will Jaxton stand up for Jules to his father and go after her or will he lose her and the baby?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

When the party planner has a family emergency, she leaves the job mostly not come for Jules to finish. It’s the biggest party of the year from Denton Hotels, and the old man will be making a big announcement. Hopefully, that Mitch will be the CEO. When Jules and Mitch find a real baby abandoned in the manger scene, they gear up into pretend parent mode, complete with mom and dad play time. What happens if one of them reads more into this? After all, it’s not supposed to be permanent, right? Love this book – the characters seem so real, and the story grabbed me from the beginning. I like this book even better than the first on in the series, and am looking forward to the next book.

Mitch is anticipating a big announcement from his father, hopefully it is that he is giving the CEO position to Mitch for their business. The announcement is to be made at the annual Denton Christmas party. Days before the party, the party planner leaves and Jules, the party planning assistant steps in to finish planning this extravaganza. Mitch is immediately attracted to Jules and she to him. While touring the hotel, Jules and Mitch discover a real baby has been placed in the manger that the hotel has on display. Jules and MItch decide to turn the baby over to child services but when they bring the baby, the line is just too long so Mitch and Jules agree to watch the baby, who they named Noelle, until after the holiday.
Can these two “play house” and keep their feelings under control?
This is the second book in this series and each book is stand alone.

The Denton Hotels’ Christmas gala at year-end was a famous event. This year, his CEO father wants the Christmas display bigger than ever as a backdrop to a big announcement he would be making. Mitch Denton, the oldest son, was hoping he was referring to a promotion for him to head of the company. Then his secretary raced in to tell him the event planning just quit! And a major snowstorm was heading their way! He asked Rose to bring in the event planner assistant who came to substitute to Rhonda. Jules Cardwell took his breath away! She told him Rhonda had started on some of the plans, but there was much left unfinished. He was concerned about an untested even planner when this particular event would require working some magic to make it perfect!
Jules and Mitch went on a walk-through together of the space so they could get started. When they reached a lovely Nativity set, they found that the Baby Jesus was, in fact, a real infant! Not wanting to turn the baby over to Social Services at Christmas, they decide to take care of baby Noelle themselves in Mitch’s penthouse. Working together on both this personal level and the business event, they feel like more of a family. When Jules sees Mitch with another woman, she makes a bad decision that could change everything. Is a relationship with each other really too good to be true? Is walking away from it all a smart choice?
This was another wonderful book by this author. She has a real talent with making emotions real for the reader, which makes the characters more relatable. The story line was well-paced and intriguing enough to draw the reader in, both to see how the event is handled and whether the two of them are ready to become a family for Noelle. Grab your copy and see how it all plays out for them.
OMG – this billionaire is to die for. This story is about Mitch, Jules and Noelle. Mitch is the billionaire who is ready to get this party started as he knows his father is going to make a huge announcement. He only hopes that the announcement is about him taking over the business and being the new CEO to the Dentons hotels. He hired an events planner to get everything perfect for the big day; however, she had to cancel last minute. This is where Jules comes in as she is sent to work on the event herself. There is a instant connection once they meet and he cannot take his eyes off of her, but Jules has her mothers voice in the back of her head stating that all rich men only want a plaything nothing serious, so she has to ignore her feelings. Well when he starts to give her the tour of the hotel and the area for the event, they come a cross a real baby in which was left in a nativity scene. Originally he thinks it is a statue, but when the baby moves his arms out of the blanket, he can’t believe someone left a baby there. Calmly they both take the baby from the location and take her upstairs to his penthouse to figure out what to do. They end up keeping the baby girl which they named Noelle until the snowstorm lightens up, but when they go to the social services days later, they realize that this is no place for the baby, so they take her back with them. Well they decide to work out a schedule for both to care for the baby and plan this event. This was a delight to read, thinking that he might have just called someone to handle the situation, instead he embraced it and ended up wanting his own family. Read this story it is awesome. I cannot wait to read the next story in this series, but I am wondering if this has to do with their father as he is single.

It’s amazing how these brothers are both manipulated by their father but on different levels. I think Mitch got the worst end of the stick & has lost himself by being a puppet in hopes of being in charge of the family business. This is really sweet because of a baby opens the door to the hearts of both characters and I think really helps him see what is really important. She has some preconceived notions about his type but she has back bone & is no pushover, love that. Another emotional road to love, this one seems to be a bit more humorous especially when his fight & chase kicks in. Simple and tender
3.5
The story is simple and tender, a little predictable, but very well written and exciting despite this, with some hot scenes and some twists.
Jules replaces her boss for the organization of an evening for Mitch who has to organize something grandiose for his future place at the head of the family business. As soon as they meet, they are attracted, but it is when they run away from a baby placed in the company manger and that they must keep her in his hotel during a snowstorm, that their relationship evolves, day after day.

When Jules went to meet Mitch to go over the plans for the holiday gala, they didn’t expect to find a real baby in the manger display at the hotel.
With the weather taking a turn for the worst, Jules had to spend the night with Mitch and the baby in his penthouse. Over the next days they found a routine that the gala event planning could go forward and to take care of the baby which they named Noelle as they did not know her real name.
Having been burned in prior relationships and the advice from her mother about how unreliable powerful men are, she did not want to get involved and end up with a broken heart. However, they both ended up falling for each other and when she realized she was falling in love, then when she tried to contact him to help with the baby when Noelle was sick, she discovered him in the bar having drinks with an attractive woman, that was when she decided to go back to her apartment. After he discovered Jules gone, he realized that something was wrong. Eventually he was able to talk to her and they resolved the situation and were able to admit their feelings for each other.

The second book in the Christmas With the Denton Billionaires series a well written quick story to read. This is book two in the Denton Billionaire series. It’s Mitch Denton and Jules Cardwell’s story. Mitch is the older brother to Josh who has his story in book one of this series. This book can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this story. What’s not to like about hot and steamy nights and a couple finding love around Christmastime.
Mitch and Jules meet when she shows up to take over for the event planner that goes missing. She is the event planner’s assistant. Mitch is hoping his father will be announcing that Mitch is getting promoted to head of the company, something Mitch has been striving for. He doesn’t want or need distractions but that’s exactly what he gets in the form of Jules and a baby that was abandoned at the hotel. A snowstorm hits and Jules stays with Mitch and the baby at Mitch’s place. They fall into a relationship with wild and sweaty nights and working together as a team through the day to plan the perfect party. Everything seems perfect until reality intrudes. Can they work things out or will they let it all slide through their fingers?

This was a little different than I was expecting from Leslie North but in a good way. She went outside what she normally does and made it somewhat different in where the story went and I liked it. I was stuck on Noelle and Mitch. The attraction and chemistry between them was undeniable and throw a baby in the mix and their true feelings come out. It was fun seeing their relationship develop until miscommunication gets in the way. So glad to see the way they worked it out.

No spoilers with this review. Leslie is one of my favorite authors and quickly added herself to that list. The story line is fantastic and fun to read, the characters are easy to fall in love with and you’ll keep turning the pages to see what happens in their relationship. Well written, draws the reader in and keeps them engaged til they read the last word.
