To Stephanie Sugarman, Charlie Preston is just the bad boy billionaire who rejected his own son. Six years ago, she and Charlie had an admittedly hot one-night stand, which left her pregnant. When she tracked down his family, his mother offered her money to go away. Now, however, Stephanie’s forced to spend time with Charlie as her boss’s liaison while Charlie crunches the numbers for a potential … potential acquisition. At first, she can’t stand to be in the same room as the charming, brilliant businessman. But as time goes on, she realizes the man she believed him to be and the man she sees now are completely different. This Charlie is honorable, charming, and—most importantly—would never abandon his son. And he seems determined to prove to her that he’s worthy of her heart.
Even though he and Stephanie only spent one incredible night together, Charlie has never been able to get her out of his mind. Now that he’s working with her, he has the chance to make things right, to prove he’s someone she and their son can trust. He’ll approach fatherhood the same way he approaches everything in life—with a detailed, meticulous plan. What he doesn’t anticipate is fiercely independent Stephanie, who gets a bit prickly when he tries to lay out a future for them. The problem is, planning is what Charlie does best, but he learns too late that all the planning in the world can’t make her stay with him. He’ll have to ditch his plan and follow his heart…no matter where it leads.

The story of Stephanie and Charlie is heartwarming and cute. The lead characters are flawed, but likable, the plot interesting. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Charlie, a young man with a history of alcoholism, was dry now and proud his family trusted him to audit a company for possible acquisition. What he did not count on was to come face to face with the woman who he had met one night a few years ago- and snuck out of feeling guilty. When she has a small boy in tow, it does not take a genius to do the math.
A story of discovery, of learning to accept boundaries, learning to shoulder the responsibilities of parenthood as well as those of an equal partnership

“The Billionaires Secret Son” had me hooked from the first word to the last with a completely perfect mix of entertaining banter, seriously hot sexy times, and sweetly piercing emotion. A very enjoyable read, perfectly executed! This book is highly entertaining, sexy and drama filled. Happy reading everyone!
Charlie has been through a lot in life, but he never thought one drunken night would change his life so much. That night turns out to be the best mistake of his life though. He wishes he hadn’t reacted the way he did in the end, but things were bad for him at that time and it wouldn’t have worked then, but he’s determined to make it work now. Even if all his planning drives her its in the process.

A stunning book. This one kept me captivated from page one. It was marvelous. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
I really like Stephanie because she was a strong mama bear who was protective of her son. Charlie was a hot alpha planner. They seemed very different but opposites attact. I found this a fun quick read to take a break from reality.

“Even though Charlie and Stephanie only spent one incredible night together, he has never been able to get her out of his mind.” So good. I hate it when other people get involved in something that’s non of their business. Causes so much heartbreak. Loved the characters, writing, and the plot. Jasper’s really cute.

Stephanie and Charlie had a one-night stand years ago, and haven’t seen each other since. She’s PA to Allen, and will be working closely with Charlie for a while. When her sitter arrangements go awry, she beings Jasper to the office. Charlie puts two and two together, and knows that Jasper is his son. With no way to contact Charlie, Stephanie found his mother, who offered her go-away money. He wants to be in Jasper’s life. Stephanie’s willing to give him a chance, but she’s no pushover. This is the second installment in the Prescott Brothers series, and it’s a wonderful story. Charlie does what he always does – he makes a plan, then proceeds to execute said plan. But Stephanie kicks his butt about that – plans and strict schedules don’t always work where children are involved, especially if you forget to talk to Mom first. And the definitely don’t work in love. I love how much patience Stephanie has – with Jasper, with Charlie (she give him chance after chance to try to get it right). This is an interesting couple who both come with a little baggage. But this author always gives us a happy ending.

This is the second book in the latest trilogy from the very talented Leslie North and as a;ways you will feel like you are reading about friends by the time you get to the end of this book

Now six years later Charlie and his brothers are in the process of acquiring Baldwin and he is stunned when Stephanie is the CEO Allen Baldwins assistant even more stunning is the young boy who arrives with her a son he never knew he had. Charlie has never forgotten Stephanie and goes about making plans to make them a family the only thing is that Stephanie doesn’t agree with his plans will he have to put his heart on the line and convince her what she really means to him
Stephanie and Charlie get their second chance in this exciting emotional read. I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
Nothing good comes from falling off the wagon?
Charlie Preston is doing an audit on Baldwin Trucking with the goal of Preston Logistics acquiring the company. The owner, Allen Baldwin, is playing least in sight, allowing his assistant Stephanie Sugarman to hold down the fort. Charlie needs more detailed paperwork than has been provided to do a proper audit.
Called into the proposed acquisition at the last minute, Stephanie is not happy with Allen. If the purchase doesn’t go through; then, she and all the other employees will be out of a job.
There is a bigger problem; Stephanie is the one night stand that Charlie had years ago when he fell off the wagon at a conference. She is supposed to be on a well-deserved vacation with her young son, Jasper. The son that Charlie’s mother told her Charlie wanted nothing to do with when she tried to buy Stephanie off years ago.
Can Charlie and Stephanie work together? What will happen when they share the same apartment? Can Charlie bond with his son Jasper? Can Stephanie deal with Charlie’s need to control everything?
When he F’s up, it’s spectacularly so
Charlie Preston is an alcoholic. And when he fell off the wagon, he had a one night stand with Stephanie Sugarman and suck out and ran.
Even though she tracked his sorry A down and told him she was pregnant. His mother dispatched her quickly.
What I didn’t like?
How cavalier he treats Stephanie. I had high hopes and found that I had a hard time liking him. I never like reading when the single mom has to raise a kid all on her own and the guy waltz’s back in.
Change some diapers.
But, I liked Stephanie.
The second book of the Preston Brothers is emotionally intense. Charles and Stephanie’s relationship is definitely complicated.
They met six years ago and had a great night together, Charles was actually in a bad place and Stephanie was left alone after his mom felt like she was protecting Charles.
Chance meeting, Charles find the truth and realize he has a son. Now it Stephanie to do what she needs to protect her son.
This is a great book and the series is amazing as it really bring to light the vulnerabilities of the characters that makes them relatable.

Will Stephanie’s need for independence drive Charlie away
Leslie is my favorite all time romance author and the Preston Brothers series falls right in there with everything I expect in a great romance, 2nd chance, insta-attraction, billionaire, and a smart woman! Charlie and Stephanie’s one night stand left Stephanie with something to remember it by. Years later, they reconnect when Stephanie is the liaison for the possible sale of her company to Charlie’s company. At the first meeting, Charlie meets Stephanie’s son, Jasper, and the math fits with their timeline. As Charlie plans more time with Stephanie and Jasper, Stephanie’s stubbornness kicks in. Questions over the impending sale of the company and Charlie overstepping his boundary in Stephanie and Jasper’s lives wreak havoc with their almost family. How will it end, requires reading the book!
Leslie North does it again! She’s made an exceptional book in The Billionaires Secret Son. The plot is great. The characters all work to make this a book to read again and again.
This is a second chance romance. Charlie and Stephanie have a one night stand that results in a baby. 6 years later they have to work together. Will they let the past go to have a future?
