To Stephanie Sugarman, Charlie Preston is just the bad boy billionaire who rejected his own son. Six years ago, she and Charlie had an admittedly hot one-night stand, which left her pregnant. When she tracked down his family, his mother offered her money to go away. Now, however, Stephanie’s forced to spend time with Charlie as her boss’s liaison while Charlie crunches the numbers for a potential … potential acquisition. At first, she can’t stand to be in the same room as the charming, brilliant businessman. But as time goes on, she realizes the man she believed him to be and the man she sees now are completely different. This Charlie is honorable, charming, and—most importantly—would never abandon his son. And he seems determined to prove to her that he’s worthy of her heart.
Even though he and Stephanie only spent one incredible night together, Charlie has never been able to get her out of his mind. Now that he’s working with her, he has the chance to make things right, to prove he’s someone she and their son can trust. He’ll approach fatherhood the same way he approaches everything in life—with a detailed, meticulous plan. What he doesn’t anticipate is fiercely independent Stephanie, who gets a bit prickly when he tries to lay out a future for them. The problem is, planning is what Charlie does best, but he learns too late that all the planning in the world can’t make her stay with him. He’ll have to ditch his plan and follow his heart…no matter where it leads.

Things come full circle for this couple. Love that this is well-written without being so dramatic. This is plenty emotion and both characters have their frustrating moments as they adjust. They both are set in their ways and really have a lot to learn. Business and the possibility of rekindling pleasure has it hurdles. Love is worth the risk and patient. It was a pleasure reading how they discover the desires of their heart.

I just finished reading The Billionaire’s Secret Son by Leslie North and it was fantastic!!! Stephanie and Charlie have history and a result, they had a son together although Charlie never knew about it. Stephanie is with a company now that Charlie is trying to acquire and they have to work with each other. Charlie is floored when he sees Stephanie and has never forgot their encounter. But Stephanie needs to keep this job and her independence. Charlie is a planner and he likes to plan things. They both tend to clash over that. But for the sake of their son, they try to keep it civil. I loved reading this book and the cover of Charlie is very nice to look at. I highly recommend reading this book. It is a short read but oh so romantic!

Stephanie spends one one with the billionaire playboy which resulted in a pregnancy. Now she has to spend time with him 6 years later. Stephanie was in his office with her son which made Charlie uncomfortable. They both agreed to let the past be the past and not to leer her boss knew about their history. Charlie asked Stephanie to stay at his house with Jasper his housekeeper could take care of Jasper. When Charlie and Stephanie had originally got together he was off the wagon and he was sober ever since. When Stephanie’s boss decided to take him and his brothers on retreat he took the to Vegas to the exact hotel he met Stephanie that night. Stephanie knew as soon as she found out that they would not buy the company she worked for that she would be out of a job. Charlie being controlling told her she could work for him but that as far as she was concerned was not going to happen. Stephanie and Jasper went to Europe without Charlie she couldn’t take all his planning. Will Charlie be able to win Stephanie back so he could spend more time with his son or was it a lost cause
Stephanie and Charlie met at a conference six years ago had a one night stand and now they meet again when his family company is about to buy out the company she works for. He does not know about the son she had as a result of that one night stand but he is still strongly attracted to her. Will he still feel that same way when he finds out about their son Jasper?
Charlie and Stephanie met at a conference six years ago and had a one night stand that resulted in a son that he knows nothing about. When Stephanie’s boss demands she goes with him for book audits where Charlie’s company is buying his she has not other choice but to go. She does not know who she is meeting with until they actually meet. They neither had exchanged last names or numbers. The chemistry is still there and when he meets her son there is no denying that the boy is his. They look too much the same. The book leads you through the issues they have to deal with, as well as their lingering feelings toward each other that seem to go deeper. Another great book by Leslie North.

This story is a real feel good romance. It has a romantic storyline and romantic characters who are struggling with life in different ways. But the story was good and not overly long, but then again also not too short. Overall it is a good story that I can recommend for those who like romances and HEA. I am at least quite glad that I get to give it fantastic four stars.

I just hate it when the parents or family meddle. Poor Stephanie thought Charlie didn’t want her or their son but turns out that’s not the case at all. However, it’s six years later and they have to work together, and not just professionally. I liked reading the story and seeing how Charlie had to let certain expectations go in order to get what he wanted. Stephanie is strong and independent and so she also had to compromise in order for them to have a future together.

This was an okay book. The characters were good and the story line was good but it felt like I was reading two different books. There was unfulfilled potential with certain aspects of the book.

When Charlie setup the meeting to discuss the purchase of the trucking business, he didn’t expect his one night stand from the conference he attended in Vegas, to be the owners assistant. Also, when she has to bring her son with her, he had no idea how to handle the change in his plan for the meeting. One, he recognized her when she entered the room and did not know how to keep a little boy entertained.
Throughout the days of the meetings, he learned that Jasper is his son and he has them all move in with him so he can get to know his son and to show Stephanie that he has changed from that night years ago. Charlie has a plan for each task and quickly learns that no matter how much he tries to plan, it frustrates Stephanie as she tries to tell him it won’t work for everyone and situation.
It isn’t until his schedule for their vacation does Stephanie call a halt to them being together. There are locations that she does not agree with and he decided to not go so she can enjoy her long awaited vacation. In that time, they both realize that they love each other and find a way to be together.

Charlie went to a conference in Vegas and was drunk usual at that point in his life and he had a one night with Stephanie. But she became pregnant and his mother never told him but tried to pay her off, she wouldn’t take the money. She raised Jasper herself and when she had to go to California with her boss, Charlie found out about his son. He was upset at first but understood why his mother had done hat she did. Stephanie had a few problems with Charlie but she finally figured it out and they loved each other and worked it out for them.
I really enjoyed this second book in the Preston Brothers series, it is a standalone romance with a secret baby/second chance storyline.
Charlie is surprised when the woman he never forgot about walks into a business meeting with her son…. Charlie is definitely a planner, like OTT planner, can Stephanie overcome the past and the way she was treated to have a HEA with Charlie ans their son, Jasper.
An interesting story that kept my interest, I liked the characters, both are sweet and likable.

The author has given us characters we can care about. When a one night stand ends with Stephanie being pregnant, she tries to contact Charlie but reaches his mother instead. Dear old mom tells her Charlie is not interested and tries to buy her off. When they meet six years later, Stephanie ends up having to tell Charlie about their son, face to face.
