Josephine:It was the worst blind date in the history of the universe, until Holden Winters swept in and rescued me.Are you kidding? Holden Winters?A scion of the notorious Winters family, Holden is gorgeous, wealthy, and brilliant. He dates socialites and pop stars, not computer science grad students more comfortable in a hoodie than couture.Our night together was a fantasy…and a huge mistake.… fantasy…and a huge mistake.
Holden:
I don’t usually steal other guy’s dates. I don’t have to. A look is all it takes, and the women fall over themselves to get to me. Then I saw Josephine, sitting with her dweeb of a date, just waiting for a man who could appreciate her lush curves and sharp brain. When she ghosted on me, I shouldn’t have been so shocked, but women never walk away from me. Josephine thought she could call the shots – she didn’t realize that a Winters man always gets what he wants. And I wanted her.
The Billionaire’s Secret Heart is a standalone romance with a happy ending. It’s the first in The Winters Saga, and introduces the notorious men of the Winters family. You can read it on its own, but you’ll want to read the others once you get a taste of the Winters men ;}
Please Note: The Billionaire’s Secret Heart, The Billionaire’s Secret Love, & The Billionaire’s Secret Kiss are novella length books. (Approximately 130, 168, & 174 paperback pages, respectively.) All other books in the series are full-length novels.

Enjoyable
What started as a bad night for Josephine got better after she met Holden at the bar. Her date was a dork. Holden saw her at his bar and just knew. Beautiful.
3+ When I first started to read I thought I was rereading a previous book so it took awhile to finally read this book. This book is about Daisy and Royal. It was not a feel good, some laughable, warm feelings as usual Ivy Layne book. There just wasn’t the deep intrigue you usually find in her books. The ending to me just didn’t feel like an ending. I know her other series they kept searching for the killer but this one just didn’t do it for me. I enjoyed it but it didn’t keep me interested.
Steamy little number!
This was exactly what I needed. A hot little steamy number! I enjoyed Holden and Josephine’s story. It was a little instalovey but as this was a novella I can forgive that.
It was neither good nor bad it was just average. I didn’t feel a connection with the characters. I have read the author before and I will read other books by her.
I wanted to know more on these two, Emily and Tate since the first time I saw them in “The Billionaire’s Secret Heart”. Emily tried to resist this hot, sexy man. She went so far as to say no to his face. But that was not working. Tate was very persistent and no was not a word he wanted to her when it was something he wanted. The desire was there for them both. But reality was a big pill to swallow.
Tate and Emily made the work and chase look so fun.
What a great quick read by Ivy Layne. I really enjoyed Holden and Josephine’s story, it was quick , hot and quite the enjoyable book. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.
A quick, enjoyable read. The story was well-written and the characters strong, likable and with a lot of personality.
Josephine ‘Jo’ is a grad student at Georgia Tech in the Computer Science department. She is a geek who lives in jeans and hoodies and is slightly self-conscious of her curves. Not wanting to hurt her advisor’s feelings she agrees to a blind date with her nephew which starts poorly and continues to get worse. The only saving grace of the date is when he tells her he can get them into the VIP lounge of a popular club. Once there, trying to ignore her date and take in the surroundings she meets Holden; who has had his eyes on her since she walked in. Seizing the opportunity, he whisks her away from her date and back to his place and things heat up from there; until she slips out the next morning without him knowing her last name or having her number.
Holden is a billionaire who comes from a world full of models and fancy clothes. He is gorgeous and can have anyone he wants, so Jo is shocked when he sets his eyes on her. She intrigues him with her brains and beauty and he wants to know her on a deeper level than just a one night stand.
They hit a roadblock in their relationship when days pass without communication from the other; when messages are left by both parties and not returned. After an intervention from Holden’s cousin, Tate, Jo realizes they have been sabotaged by a third party. After a heated confrontation, she rushes to Holden to explain and hopefully salvage what they had. She cannot help but worry and wonder if it is too late. Will he see her and let her explain? Is it too late to save what they had? Can they find their happy ending?
This was a sweet, quick read full of laughs, drama and romance. The author has a wonderful way of bringing the characters to life on the page. I cannot wait to see how the series continues. I
