Nana Malone is the Queen of Duets! I swear every story is different but has everything you love about Nana’s writing! The Billionaire’s Secret picks up where Bodyguard to the Billionaire left us. I loved everything about the conclusion to Theo and Zia’s story! I could not out this book down! AMAZING FIVE STARS!
This is such a great conclusion to the first story. Zia and Theo don’t know whether they’re coming or going, and I was rooting for them all the way. I finished up loving Derek oddly enough. I love the whole world Nana Malone has built in the Winston Isles, full of strong, sassy women and men who need to be kept on their toes. Touching at times, hilarious at others, this is a beautiful book to read.
Part two finds the real billionaire on the beach badly beaten. Saving him doesn’t answer Zia’s questions. Why is Theo he pretending to be someone else? Who is he really? and most important–why is someone trying to kill him? Then her own question to herself–how could she be so stupid to trust another man and fall for him? How could she risk her job for another lier?
The answers are complicated and surprising. Who wants him dead is the primary question. She still has a job to do. Protect him even when she’d consider doing the killing herself. He hurt her and jeopardized her job. No more. She will resist him. She will!
Theo has to figure out what is going on and now that the look-a-like who hired him is back he gets his answers. Some of them and his life is about to change. He just has to figure out how to keep Zia in his life–if he lives.
Surprises. Steam. Answers that include the whole royal team.
This was interesting. Lots of drama in this one. Penny and Sebastian drove me crazy as usual. The whole situation with Theo and Derrick was definitely a head scratcher. Like, how could their parent do that? Zia and Theo were on fire and I adored them. I love these royals and can’t wait to see what they’re all up to next.
I love this series! The second part of the duet picks up just as Theo’s secret had come out. The story is full of twists and turns. It kept me guessing until the end as to who was behind it all. The book sucked me in right away and I didn’t come up for air until the end. I love the camaraderie of the characters in this series. Zia and Theo were irresistible as a couple! Hot and sweet at the same time! Derrick is fun too and I hope he gets a story of his own. I received an advance copy and am voluntarily writing a review.
Fantastic conclusion to this diet. Nana always gives her readers fun, wit, charm, chemistry and mystery but most of all a love that brings it all together even when doubts, hurts and fear seem to override what the heart wants. Loved it!!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. The final book in the Duett and you’ll be thrown for a loop. Secrets are revealed – some you already figured out and some you never saw coming. The relationship between Zia and Theo gets deeper and stronger while Derrick does make a huge turnaround from being and idiot to everyone around him. Extremely wonderful conclusion which makes you want for more…
In my opinion this was a great read. There were Royals, strong women, humor and a lot of love. In my opinion Nana Malone did a really good job of hiding the villain. I had my suspicions but wasn’t sure till the end. I give Nana Malone a well done on that, usually I do a good job of figuring out the villain. Not this time. I have to say I was surprised and I wasn’t surprised. I really liked Theo he was an all around good guy, I appreciated him putting everything before himself. I loved Zia’s tough as nails attitude and yet realizing sometimes she needs help. In my opinion Theo and Zia are a perfect match. It was fun getting to seem some of the previous royals, there is always some fun with them. I also have to say, some parts of the story did bring tears to my eyes, this doesn’t happen all the time. Yes I’m a Nana Malone fan, but I really did have a lot of fun with this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader’s copy.
Ok so now we have the conclusion to BodyGuard to the Billionaire and oh what a conclusion it is. I never saw it coming. Oh I’m not a complete incompetent I did have some of my suspicions confirmed but figuring it all out…not by a long shot! It is good! One of my favorite aspects of this author’s work is that she frequently brings back many of the characters from the other books and it always works. I don’t know how she keeps track of all the players and their parts and how they seamlessly fit in to the story but she does! It’s not just bit parts. They are all an intrinsic part of the book. It keeps you coming back for more.
Theo is as dreamy as he was in the first book if not more so. We get to see him open up more and really delve into his past. Need to keep that a secret because if I told you more, why read the book?
Zia is just trying to put all the pieces together while keeping both her job and her heart in place.
As if all this wasn’t enough even more drama and intrigue ensue. We also get all the feels. More characters old and new are there to wet our appetite for more. The author dangles the carrot and keeps us coming back for more.
It’s always hard to review the second book in a duet because you don’t want to give away any secrets it’s more about how you feel about the book but I have to tell you Derrick kind of stole my heart and made me laugh. Yes, he has his many issues but who doesn’t and his are multiplied to the 10th power. The author knows how to write characters (and I use that in the comical and endearing way). Her female roles are true powerhouses and bad (again in a good way). They are to be revered.
I read this book straight through in one sitting. I guess you can tell I really enjoyed this story.
SO looking forward to the next installment. Nana you make it harder and harder to top yourself but you always seem to manage it. This time is no different!
Another winner from Nana Malone!! Surprise, mystery, sexiness, The Billionaire’s Secret has it all! I loved it!
Such a great conclusion! This story has everything, surprise sibling, mystery, danger, espionage, intrigue, and a piping hot couple (Zia and Theo) on an unforgettable adventure to see it through. I love this author’s style, there is a whole series of books now with the main characters prominent in other stories as well. You don’t have to read about the other couples to understand this one, but you do need to read the first book of this duet. I promise you though after reading Theo and Zia’s story you will want to know the rest of the royal family and the security team. A great couple and a hot fun story to get caught up in!
I love these royals and you will too!
The Billionaire’s Secret is the perfect conclusion to the Billionaire’s Duet. I loved Theo and Zia in book one and this is a continuation of their story. Derrick, however, is the character in book two that we have the chance to find more about. I feel bad for all he has had to go through and all he has missed out on in his life and I hope he finally gets his own story and finds his happily ever after.
Just like book one, this book is also full of intrigue that will keep you hanging onto the edge of your seat and an action packed storyline where the players are constantly moving as no one is privy to the full game that is in play. After book one we knew there were secrets being kept, but now as all those secrets unravel we finally find out who the culprit creating havoc over this family for so many years is.
Yes Yes and Yes this was a great conclusion to the story. Theo was the sweetest man so kind and always putting others first. There was nothing not to love about him. It also didn’t hurt that he was as hot as a habanero pepper. Zia annoyed me at times with her inability to learn from her mistakes but I get it. When love is involved you don’t always think straight. Derrick was like mold after awhile he grows on you. Actually Derrick was the classic example of what an adult looks like who as a child had no one to show him or give him love unconditionally. At his core he was a decent person. He just needed someone to show him that he mattered. In the end everyone got what they deserved. This book gave me exactly what I expected from a Nana Malone book. It gave me a suspenseful who done it ride along with some nice sexy time. Throw in some humor, fantastic characters, a pinch of annoyance, some heroes, villains, and some kick ass females and you have a recipe for an outstanding book. As usual it always great to have Team Winston Isles in the mix. I’m not trying to rush or anything Nana (yes I am ) but I’m ready for my next royal adventure. Until next time y’all happy reading.
