For two years I held Vance Winters off… Right up until the day my fiancé dumped me for his mistress and Vance kissed me senseless.Vance Winters was six feet of dangerously beautiful mayhem. Wicked blue eyes, tousled blond hair, and golden skin covered in tattoos. Trouble. I should have taken one look and run in the other direction. I should have told him to take his job offer and shove it up his … and shove it up his tight, perfect ass. I should have done a lot of things.
I won’t lie. One touch of Vance’s mouth to mine was better than all four years with my ex. I was tempted. So very tempted. Tempted, but not stupid. How many women had I escorted from his bed in the two years I’d worked for him? Vance didn’t do commitment and I’d been tossed aside one time too many. There was no way I was going to throw my broken heart at his feet, even if I suspected the orgasms might be worth it.
Then she showed up. Rosalie. Only three months old, and she changed both of our lives in an instant. I could resist Vance when he was just my billionaire playboy boss. But could I keep my heart safe as I watched him fall in love with his daughter?
The Billionaire’s Promise is a standalone romance with a happy ending. It’s the fourth book in the Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaires series and reveals more about the notorious men of the Winters family. You can read it on its own, everything you need to know is explained, but once you get a taste of the Winters men you’ll want to read the others ;}

“Perfect man too late to stop his mouth from . . . ”
Vance Winters was the hot guy with major issues. Issues that carried a lot of baggage and pain that pulled him in directions that were no not healthy for him or to produce a healthy relationship. But somehow he was able to form a very healthy relationship with the right woman. Its just that perfect relationship was friends only.
Magnolia was hurt, sad and wanting so much to have that connection with someone or someones. She was so in to the fact of love and family that she mad at the wrong person, loved the wrong person, and held on for too long. Maggie was strong, independent, and wanting to love and be loved. Her beginning may have influenced some of her decisions.
I did enjoy CJ and Beckett in this one. I still had moments where female sounded like a male but the narration was smooth and pleasant. No major plus or minus to the story.
An artist, businessman and a playboy billionaire seem like a bad choice for a woman who desires to have a family, but she falls in love with him nonetheless. What starts out as a business relationship turns to friendship and into love. With sudden surprises and heartaches, the story will keep you hooked until the happy ending. This is a full length romance with some heat and interesting characters and story.
This is the next book in Ivy Laine’s Billionaire series, and this one is a real doozy! Magnolia is reeling over her grandmother’s death. She has a doctor boyfriend who sponges off of her, so she decides to apply for a job as an assistant to a billionaire party boy artist who just happens to be great with investments. Though she ends up having to deal with his drinking and having to drag his women du jour out of bed every morning.
A near-tragedy shakes things up for them, and then Maggie has to deal with the fallout. But Vance sees her more than just his assistant, and when her relationship with the doctor changes, he plans on letting her know it, but the shake up changes everything.
I really enjoyed this, and I wasn’t sure I was going to when the baby entered the picture, but Ivy did a terrific job with this!
This book has a lot of turmoil and emotional twists and turns. I have to say I was not a huge fan of Vance at the beginning of the story. Though he was charming and had a good head on his shoulder for business, he was a huge man-child that wanted every aspect of his life managed to the extent of waking him each morning and removing his overnight guests from his bed. He was arrogant, drank too much, did drugs and had a revolving door of women. But after a horrible experience he decided to get help and make some changes and I began to sway to his side. He became a strong, dedicated, caring guy who worked hard to stay sober and make the necessary changes to better his life. And when Rosie came into the picture, he was a wonderful, loving dad who would do any and everything for her. As for Magnolia (Maggie) she started out with a strong presence in the story, managing his business and personal lives, but turned more self-pitying and whiny when their relationship turned more personal. I started getting tired of her internal rants about her sad life and past relationships. She kept acknowledging her past mistakes and wanting to change things but never did anything about it. She seemed to rather want to wallow than make changes. I was so glad when she finally took the steps to stand up and take charge of her life.
With all of that said, I will say that I did enjoy the book overall. Once you start reading and get to know the characters and take all the drama and turmoil they experience and put it into context with the flow of the story, it works. As soon as they both started wising up everything started to fall in place more smoothly and I enjoyed the story more. I did enjoy seeing Vance and Maggie as a couple, and with little Rosie, they made a nice family. You could tell they were both willing to do anything in the world for that little girl. It was also nice to see the rest of the family make an appearance and interacting with them both. I enjoyed the teases concerning Charlie and cannot wait to see what is store for her.
*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Oh how I loved this one! No major drama but enough to keep you reading and interested. Still no clues about the pictures but the Winters family seems to be getting closer! I loved Vance although he was a total man whore at the beginning and I really didn’t think I would like him much. Poor Magnolia just wanted to feel like she had a family. Little Rosalie was too cute and reading them struggling with a baby kind of had me cracking up. Sweet and great read!
Really enjoyed Vance and Magnolia’s story. Rosie was an added delight. A reformed alcoholic man-whore who suddenly finds himself sole parent – what can go wrong. I am surprised that Vance didn’t admit his feeling for Magnolia sooner than he did. Glad that she finally realised what a loser Brayden was. There are lots of emotions in this book, I admit to shedding a few tears, but it has a happy ending. I look forward to the next book in the series.
It’s hard notvto like these books. The characters are versatile and interesting with the males being intelligent, sexy, and successful and their women loving, smart and beautiful. Overcoming horrendous events in their lives the Winters family and by extension the Sinclairs are now finding their life partners. There is an element of intrigue and mystery with someone digging up the past and throwing itvin their faces.
Vance finally got sober after spiraling out of control for years. Sex and booze ruled his life. Magnolia became his business manager and valued partner. He wanted there from day one but new with his drinking problem she would never have anything to do with him add to that a long time boyfriend/ fiance and she was off limits. Suddenly the fiance is gone and Vance is sober and plans his move. However, he suddenly is presented with a baby girl that is his. He enlists Magnolia in becoming his 24/7 partner in learning how to raise a 3 1/2 month old baby. There are those who set out to sabotage the relationship and Magnolia lets her insecurities take over. It’s now up to Vance to let her know how he really feels so they can become the family that he knows they both want.
