Penelope Fox thought she was applying to be an assistant to billionaire Drew Preston. With her business savvy, she’s hoping she can help Drew’s successful shipping company reach new heights. Too bad the position she applied for isn’t as his assistant: it’s as his young son’s nanny. With her bank account nearly dry, Penny’s desperate enough to take the job. But when Drew is meeting with the owner … owner of his next potential acquisition, the other man mistakes Penelope for Drew’s wife—and to her surprise, she agrees to play along. Even more shocking? The way she’s beginning to feel about this maddening, passionate man.
Drew learned the hard way to never mix business with pleasure. His ex-wife is proof. But it’s difficult to ignore his attraction to his son’s nanny. There’s more to Penny than meets the eye. She’s as brilliant with business as she is with his son. And with him—in bed. All his orderly lines get all tangled up. Playing along with a fake marriage is one thing. Wishing it was real shakes him to his core.
As the business deal Drew wanted so badly goes south, so does his fledgling relationship with Penny, leaving him wondering if there can be any pleasure in business without Penny by his side.

“Penelope Fox thought she was applying to be an assistant to billionaire Drew Preston, not his son’s nanny. Drew learned the hard way to never mix business with pleasure.” Absolutely loved this story. Great plot. Story got better and better as it went on. So emotional. Made me cry. Logan is awesome. Can’t wait to read the next one.

The Billionaire’s Pretend Wife (is the first book in the Preston Billionaires series and is the story of Drew Preston and Penelope Fox. This is a fun and fast-paced story that has one misunderstanding after another which results in Penny being Drew’s pretend wife. But what starts as pretend soon feels real when feelings starts sparking between these two.
I found that as I was reading I realized Drew was not the normally strong Alpha that Leslie North writes. I also questioned that Penny was not able to gently correct the two big misunderstandings by other people when she was supposed to be in the corporate world originally. But I just decided to go where the author took the story and by the end I enjoyed it and thought it was cute. Just not as strong as what I usually like with this author.
This is the first book in the Great in Brothers Series by Leslie North. The book focuses on Penelope Fox, who thought she was applying for a PA position but turns out to be a nanny job for the child of a billionaire, and Drew Preston, a wealthy CEO of Preston Logistics who is mistakenly viewed as her husband by the owner of a potential acquisition. Penelope agrees to be his fake wife and Drew finds he is attracted to her, but his history with his ex-wife leaves him afraid to love again. I recommend this wonderful fake marriage book which will maintain your reading interest from the first to last page.

When Penny went to Preston Logistics she thought she was going to interview to be Drew Preston’s assistant. When Drew saw her talking to his son, Logan, who normally did not take to strangers, talking to Penny, Drew assumed she was there to interview to be Logan’s nanny. I mean, being a nanny was on Penny’s resume. Penny needed the job and thought taking the nanny job would get her a foot in the door.
Penny moves into Drew’s house to take care of Logan and during a business dinner is mistaken to be Drew’s wife. Can Drew and Penny keep their chemistry in check, especially since Drew does not mix business with pleasure, and still pull off being a pretend family or will the pressure blow up in their face?
Will the deal blow up also or will the client see something Drew and Penny don’t see and bring them to a real merger.

What was a misunderstanding turned into a steamy affair between the billionaire boss and his nanny….
First Penny gets hired for the wrong job but her bank account needs the money so she takes it and then she is mistaken for her bosses wife…..what can she do but play along.
Drew never mixes business with pleasure…..he has a bad history of mixing both and nearly losing everything…. but he really needs the new deal to go through and if that means he must pretend to be married to the hot nanny….. so be it……..only thing is he is attracted to her and cant keep his mind or hands off her…….when the truth is out he almost loses the deal and the woman he loves..

A warm read to take in on a gloomy day
Penny, a gal looking to start fresh, answers an ad to work for Drew, CEO of Preston Logistics, and is interviewed for a position different from what she applied for. As the story progresses a misunderstanding causes a small fire, lies continue to feed the flames they tried to bank, and following along may cause what they are to implode. Leslie North’s The Billionaire’s Pretend Wife is a warm read to take in on a gloomy day.

Preston Brothers series is off the an amazing start with The Billionaire’s Fake Wife. The is amazing written to show the vulnerability of not only Penny but also Drew, which is something you don’t often see in most stories. This make story very realistic and tugs at your heart strings.

Penelope is applying for a job, but realizes the interview is with the owner of the company and for his live-in nanny for his son. Needing a job desperately she accepts thinking this could be her way into the company eventually or until she finds something else. She gets along with the small boy very well and they develop a great relationship. When Drew invites a potential client to his home along with his wife (whom he is trying to buy his business) he arrives home late. The gentleman thinks they are married and he asks Penelope to go along with it. Eventually the whole family has to believe it, but can they only pretend when things really seem to feel right with the together. His ex-wife never wanted what him and Penelope seem to have developed between each other. Now if he can come to believe it once he learns who her father is, then maybe they can have something for real and not pretend.

Penelope applied to be Drew’s assistant however when she goes in for the interview its for a nanny position. She is in a bad way financially so she takes the job. Drew knows that Penelope is over qualified to be his son’s nanny but Logan took to her so quickly he knew he needed her. Penelope and Logan got along famously and she even enjoyed her job. One evening Drew was having a business dinner at the house and Logan ran out to him before Penelope could do anything. The man he was trying to get a deal with saw Penelope and Logan and assumed they were a family. This has Drew asking her if she will play along to being his wife until the deal goes through. Even though its crazy she agrees. How long will it be before pretending takes on a very real feel? Can they have a future together or will Drew end things once he gets what he wants?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter and leave you wanting more at the last. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Drew is a single father and business tycoon. His last nanny had resigned suddenly and he is looking for another nanny for his 5-year-old.
Penny is actually applying for a position in Drew’s company – but as she has mentioned nanny experience in her CV, she is put onto the nanny applications by mistake, and takes the job as nanny when it is offered.
To gain a new shipping line he asks her to pretend to be his wife for a short while, and the trouble begins, as feelings emerge and cannot be denied.
An entertaining story of false to real relationship. Nothing new or outstanding different from many similar stories, but well-written and entertaining.

The Billionaires Pretend Wife by Leslie North. Thus Drew and Penny’s story. I really enjoyed this book. It was funny from t hff e beginning. She went in for one job and came out as Drew’s nanny. Lucky she worked as one before. I think his attraction to her clouded his m mom and. While working for Drew, he is in the process of cutting a deal. The gentleman mistakes Penny for his wife. Noe to finish the deal she has to pretend to be his wife. The more they fake it, the realer their relationship becomes. She still keeping something from him. Will it change things? You’ll have to read and see.

Leslie North, ‘The Billionaire’s Pretend Wife’.
Preston Brothers #1.
As a Hidden Gems ARC reader I received a free copy and promised an honest review. Here it is.
Rating: 4 stars (of 5).
In general: Faking is difficult when feelings are real.
Main characters:
– Penelope Fox.
Penny hoped to become Drew Preston’s business assistant but he’s looking for a nanny. She needs money after a business relation swindled her father out of his company. Now she desperately wants a job.
– Drew Preston.
He owns a successful shipping company and is a billionaire. Divorced from a greedy wife, Susan. The divorce caused for his company a serious financial setback.
Now he’s looking for a nanny for his young son, Logan.
When Drew meets a business relation with his wife at his home, the visitors assume that nanny Penny is his wife and inform him that Drew, being a family man, will making a deal much more easy. So Drew asks Penny to act as his pretend wife. Penny, already having a crush on him, accepts. Moreover she loves Drew’s son, Logan.
Then the author, Leslie North, describes how Drew’s and Penny’s relationship develops. It’s a bit problematic, for Drew wants to keep business and personal relations severely separated. And Penny hates to lie about their relationship. And she doesn’t like the idea that a ‘fake marriage’ is needed to close a business deal, while she has a lot of feelings for Drew and his son. But both overcome these problems and so the novel has a happy end. And – for me – it was a pleasure to read about all those complications.

This was another great book by Leslie North. It’s the first book in the Preston Billionaires Series. This book is the eldest Preston siblings’ story. Drew Preston had just come out of a difficult divorce and needed to find a permanent nanny for his three-year-old son, Logan. Penelope Fox thought she was applying for an executive position at Preston Logistics, but when she instead got offered the position as nanny, she took it. She desperately needed the job and thought she could still find her way back into the business world. Preston Logistics was in the process of trying to buy a new business and when it was assumed Penny was Drew’s wife, Drew went with the assumption because he wanted to satisfy the other company’s owner by presenting a picture of himself as a family man. Penny went along with Drew but hadn’t the lie. When the truth comes out, can Drew still achieve his goal of acquiring another company?
