Penelope Fox thought she was applying to be an assistant to billionaire Drew Preston. With her business savvy, she’s hoping she can help Drew’s successful shipping company reach new heights. Too bad the position she applied for isn’t as his assistant: it’s as his young son’s nanny. With her bank account nearly dry, Penny’s desperate enough to take the job. But when Drew is meeting with the owner … owner of his next potential acquisition, the other man mistakes Penelope for Drew’s wife—and to her surprise, she agrees to play along. Even more shocking? The way she’s beginning to feel about this maddening, passionate man.
Drew learned the hard way to never mix business with pleasure. His ex-wife is proof. But it’s difficult to ignore his attraction to his son’s nanny. There’s more to Penny than meets the eye. She’s as brilliant with business as she is with his son. And with him—in bed. All his orderly lines get all tangled up. Playing along with a fake marriage is one thing. Wishing it was real shakes him to his core.
As the business deal Drew wanted so badly goes south, so does his fledgling relationship with Penny, leaving him wondering if there can be any pleasure in business without Penny by his side.

I really loved this story Penny applied to a job at Drew’s Company but he thought she was hiring for the nanny position. She took it and loved that little boy. Logan was the sweetest thing and they got along so well. When a misunderstanding had Penny pretending to be Drew’s wife, they got closer, but of course, it fell apart. I really liked Jack and how he helped them get back together. The characters were wonderfully written and again, I enjoyed a Leslie North story.

I enjoyed this fun romance. The story line was an entertaining combo of cuteness, emotion, steam and drama. I liked Penelope and Drew and felt that they had good chemistry. A very good read and a great start to a new series. I am posting a independent, impartial review.
Penelope Fox submitted her application as an assistant to billionaire CEO Drew Preston, but when he mixes up the applications, she ends up hired as the nanny for his son, Logan! Since she needs the income, she accepted the job.
Further complicating Penny’s life, the owner of a company Drew is trying to buy assumes Penny his Drew’s wife and is pleased with their family unity. Drew goes along with the mistaken assumption, but the fake situation begins to feel real. Despite his dislike of mixing business with pleasure due to his disastrous first marriage, this one feels right. Will he be able to convince his pretend wife that he wants her permanently in his life?
This author writes amazing stories that pull the reader right into the lives of her characters. Once again, the story line is intriguing, the characters likable, and the pacing perfect. Grab your copy and see if a HEA is waiting for Drew and Penny despite their roller coaster ride in getting things sorted out.
The first time Drew sees Penelope, she is reading a book with his toddler son while she waits for a job interview with him. He is instantly fascinated with her beauty and easy demeanor with his son, but he has those walls around his heart that came from mixing family and business that ended with his divorce not long ago.
Penelope is smart, resourceful and a calming influence on Drew’s son, Logan. One can tell that Drew falls in love with Penny a little more every time he quietly watches her with his son, and her giving nature takes both of them in her embrace.
There are deceptions and secrets that put a strain on the couples’ relationship but sometimes you need to miss someone enough before realizing how much they mean..

The story of Penny and Drew is interesting. The insta lust is pretty convincing, but not so much about the insta love part. The setting of the logistics and shipping industry is refreshing. Overall, it’s a satisfying read.

If you enjoy a good billionaire romance then this book is well worth picking up. It is the first book in the series and was a good well written read. I like a good fake relationship romance so Drew and Penny’s book was a great fit for me. I really enjoyed this book there was enough going on to keep me hooked right until the very end.
Penny went a job interview thinking that she was going to be working at a company but instead she became the nanny. But she loved it ad Logan loved her. But a person that Drew was trying to buy his company thought hat they were married so they decided that they would leave it so he could buy the company. But then they had a few bumps but it all got worked out because Drew realized that he loved Penny and they decided to make the fake relationship real.
A nice easy read. This is a very easy-to-read romance between two strong personalities, Drew and Penny. Both have very painful past experiences and are guarded, perhaps Drew more so. The problem is that Penny is beautiful, sassy, loyal, sexy, intelligent and simply adores Drew’s 3-year-old little boy, Logan. So Drew’s resolve is melting away in the face of such strong forces conspiring against him. Although Penny is Logan’s Nanny, her background is a strong business savvy in Logistics which was her family’s business before they were swindled. Drew is the head of his own Logistics company and when the chips are down, he thinks that Penny is after the business, so not surprisingly, they break up. Without further details, I’ll skip to the end. There is a HEA, as you know throughout the book that those two belong together. It perhaps would have been good to have a little more detail of their personal backgrounds to understand their behaviour better. However, it is a well-edited work from a prolific author that I can happily recommend.

It’s all fun and games when pretending until real feelings develop. That’s what happens with Penny and Drew. I liked their connection and attraction to each other, even if it they didn’t want to give in. Penny is strong and smart and actually a really great asset to Drew, in his personal life and his business life. It’s when those feelings get tangled up that the hurt comes in.

Penny is looking for a new start after the company she worked for was sold. Drew is in desperate need of a nanny and mistakes Penny’s resume as someone looking to fill the position. When the lines of their business relationship becomes blurred it leads to a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunication.
Loved the characters both supporting and main. The story line wasn’t exactly new but had a different twist.

Loved this book from page 1, you get to learn what both characters feel and want and my heart fell for them. How Penny starts as a nanny and turns out so much more. Logan loves her from the first time he sees her, he let’s her in his little heart and Drew does the same without even knowing it. But not everything goes as it is planned. The final chapters just brought tears to my eyes. What a feeling …. I am curious for the other books in this series.

Penny applied for a position at the logistics company but when she arrived for the interview, Drew the oldest Preston son got her application mixed up and hired Penny for his sons nanny. When Drew’s potential client Mr Holloway got Penny confused as his wife, the couple pretended to make the business deal. What happens when business turns to pleasure? Drew was not going down that route again, his first marriage did not work out and now they share custody of their 3 year old son whom happened to take a liking to Penny. Can Drew think outside of business when he invites Penny into his bed? She is familiar with logistics as her father had a company and she can spot a bad decision in acquisition because it did not go well for her fathers company either but can Drew see beyond the acting to give in to temptation again when he falls in love with her?

The author has given us characters we can care about. When Penny goes for job interview, the CEO, Drew, assumes it for the position of nanny to his young son. Penny is willing since Logan is such a wonderful little boy. However, as she grows closer to Drew and Logan, the line between personal and professional begins to blur.
