USA Today Bestseller Leslie North invites you to indulge in a steamy billionaire romance with a unforgettable bad boy billionaire and the smart-talking woman who tames him…Billionaire Connor McClellan knows the worth of a woman—at least in business dealings. Which is why he depends on Rosalie Bridges, the ever-reliable outreach manager from his Aspen office, to pose as his girlfriend when he … girlfriend when he woos a potential client. Connor’s next client represents the only business he’s ever lost. Gaining them back would make his record perfect. He assumes that Rosalie is available—only to find that she’s pissed off at him and pregnant…with his baby. Their hookup at a previous business meeting was the hottest of his life, and now it’s the most complicated, too. Still, they need to fake this relationship to land the deal. But Rosalie isn’t interested in playing along.
Rosalie has wanted Connor from a distance for years, and always thought she’d get her chance to impress him when he came to Aspen. After they’d hooked up, she thought she was making headway, but when Connor sent carnations along with a generic note and didn’t call till he needed her again, she decided she was done being used.
With Connor desperately needing to land this deal, and Rosalie no longer willing to be a part of his fake relationship scheme—especially with a baby on the way—a deal of a different kind needs to be struck. She’ll be his fake girlfriend one last time, and in exchange she’ll get the promotion to head the region’s outreach and out of his life. As much as she wishes to be with Connor and have him help raise their child, she isn’t sure she can risk her heart on a man used to taking others for granted. But Connor isn’t planning on letting her get away without a fight. He’s got a week while they woo the client together to win her back—and if there’s one thing Connor knows how to do, it’s win.
As business and pleasure become further intertwined, Connor realizes for once in his life he’d like this fake relationship to be something more. If the two of them can pull this off, they may land the deal, and the love, to last them a lifetime.

Connor is focused on closing the next deal. He has Rosalie to be his girlfriend to close certain deals. But when it is done, he is gone and she ceases to exist. She has been enamored with Connor since she started with the company. They get a little carried away one night and they get a surprise. She wants a promotion and Connor wants her close to him. Connor does everything to show her what she means to him. But he tries to close a deal and cuts her out of it. Will they work it out? I loved the back forth between the two of them.

I thought that this was a good read. However, I did have some issues with it. First, I spent a good portion of the book feeling that Connor was quite simply a jerk and a user. I know that he was supposed to come across as tech genius that was people clueless but that really fell flat for me because it didn’t make sense to me. He wasn’t someone that tried to stay behind the scenes, in fact, he was totally fixated on the next deal to be made. This was a big plausibility issue for me. Next, I enjoy workplace romance stories but this one just didn’t set right with me. I’m not exactly sure way but their situation felt off. Maybe it was simply because there was so much going on (his cluelessness, her unrequited feelings, the surprise baby) in the storyline already, but add in that Rosalie felt that her work was not only unappreciated but unrecognized and unvalued added a layer of muddiness that I could have lived without. For me this turned what was maybe an annoying and angst filled situation into a right at the line uncomfortable one.
Conner always had Rosalie pretend to be his girlfriend to help win over clients. When he goes to her needing her help winning over the only client he has ever lost, he is informed that their one night of passion has left her pregnant. Now not only does he want to win this account, he wants to prove to Rosalie that he can br a real boyfriend. I really loved how clumsily he tried to woo her. Did all of his wooing work? Did he prove to Rosalie he is ready for a family? This was such a sweet and funny at times quick read.

Love this! Connor is a great businessman but he as come to rely on Rosalie to seal many deals by posing as his fake girlfriend and to help him not be so socially awkward. It has worked for awhile, but Rosalie is tired of the arrangement. Ideally she wants Connor for real, and a promotion that she knows she deserves. She agrees to the farce one last time after a steamy night from their last deal. What she doesn’t expect is get pregnant! Once business and pleasure truly mix, all bets are off and she will do what she needs for her future, even if that doesn’t include Connor. I love the back and forth between them and watching Connor evolve from an insensitive oaf to truly care for her.
A short but powerful read. I appreciated the chasing element, and loved the whole theme of family versus business; the impact of childhood and the importance of standing up for yourself.

3.5 stars ***. Connor and Rosalie work at his tech company. She has been filling in as his fake girlfriend in order to close deals until one night they get carried away and she has a souvenir to remember it. He is very excited to be a father which surprises her because he has a lot of Peter Pan behavior. She is unhappy the way he sees her in his business world. She is very talented and he doesn’t realize taking it for granted. Well, thanks to preggie hormones he’s going to find out how much he needs her. Enjoyable short.

This is book one in the McClellan Billionaire’s Series. I liked this book. The characters were good and even though the book is on the shorter side you get to see the characters grow and change.
Rosalie has been playing Connor’s fake girlfriend for about a year when one night they give in and sleep together. There’s a mix up and Rosalie believes that Connor doesn’t care. Connor is a single-mindedly focused on his business and the one client that got away so it’s easy to understand why she would think that. He has a tendency to take everyone around him for granted. Their one night together results in Rosalie getting pregnant. Connor finds out about it right away. Now he’s trying to make a relationship work but can it work when everything is all about business and he’s not consulting the one person when knows what she’s doing. Can their relationship survive Connor’s selfishness? Will he wake up and realize the damage he’s caused?

Rosalie is the outreach manager for Connor’s Aspen office. She pretended to be his girlfriend to gain the favor of his potential clients for almost a year. The chemistry between them is hot, hot, hot. Until Connor’s secretary was told to send four dozens yellow roses to Rosalie and she sends yellow carnations. The same day Rosalie finds out she is pregnant and she is tired of being used. Connor needs Rosalie’s help wooing the only future client that got away. All the characters are strong and book does have a HEA. It had a different and surprise ending..

“The Billionaires Pregnant Assistant” has it all. Genuine characters with great chemistry and romance, glorious writing, a great storyline and all the feels. Leslie North strikes romantic gold once again. Five stars aren’t enough for this book. Think this is now my new favourite by Leslie North!!
The Billionaire’s Pregnant Assistant by Leslie North. This is Conner and Rosalie’s story. Rosalie works for Conner and she also pretended to be his girlfriend when he needed her too. One night things went from fake to real in more ways then one. Even though the both have feeling for each other. Conner wasn’t sure about moving to the next step. Now Rosalie is pregnant but she is not sure what to do. She doesn’t feel appreciated in her job by Conner. Now they are on another trip and faking it as usual but its funny because the client brings his wife who is pregnant too and the bonding begins. The book was fun and I enjoyed reading it. I really wanted to know what was going to happen next. I love how Rosalie had to make a decision on what was best for her and her baby. Conner had to get with he program because his job was more important and he had to make the choice. They kept me laughing.

Connor and Rosalie sleep together while on a business trip. Rosalie works for McClellan Systems as an outreach of the Aspen office. Helping him win another client Pretend to be his girlfriend and he sends her yellow carnations with a generic card. She was so angry at him she couldn’t believe it plus she has been getting sick. Connor couldn’t believe that Rosalie wouldn’t call him after sending her the yellow roses. But he finds out what had happened and apologizes that he gave his secretary the order to send the flowers. He realized he has to transfer his secretary some where else in the company. Connor shows up at Rosalie’s office she tells him he is going to be a father. He was happy but made a major mistake as Rosalie tells Connor that she is done with him. He then asks her to be his fake girlfriend Rosalie couldn’t believe that was happening. Rosalie and Connor meeting with their client to get them to sign with McClellan. Connor never truly seen how valuable Rosalie had she took care of everything for him but it seemed he never really saw it that way. Twists, turns and some surprises.
Connor has been taught all his life that his business success is his only measure of worth. He’s relied heavily on Rosalie to achieve that success and now she wants to be recognized for it. Oh my gosh! As much as I loved this pair, they frustrated me in almost equal measure. The chemistry between Connor and Rosalie is off the charts, but they just don’t know how to talk to each other about anything meaningful. I loved watching Rosalie lead Connor on a merry chase to learn what’s really important in life. And while doing so, she learns what she was doing to make the whole situation possible. I enjoyed seeing the growth in both characters and the story’s ending was absolutely adorable.

Connor was arrogant and only interested in business until he met Rosalie. She showed him a better approach to life. Cute and engaging story with strong captivating characters. Good read!

What’s a pretend couple going to do when things get hot once again? Read this stand-alone story to find out.
A Well-Written Romcom.
I liked this storyline because it was pretty much a good, solidly written romcom. Pretty much all the characters were given some great lines which just kept the timing moving along. The two main characters, CEO Conner and Outreach Manager, Rosalie are a hoot. Conner is your stereotypical IT-Nerd guy who is always in his head and has come to depend on Rosalie’s skills to close deals.
He has only one person who has not gone with his software and he is being given a second chance with seal the deal. At the same time he learns that due to their celebration from six weeks ago, Rosalie and him have an unexpected result. Further complications surface all around which make for hilarity.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment, pleasure, and funny bone. Peace.

Connor is all business, all the time. Rosalie works hard for his company, to the point of being his fake girlfriend if it will help win a new account. They lose control one night, and she’s pregnant after a night of passion. I really like this book. It has a unique twist on the fake girlfriend theme. The characters have great chemistry most of the time. But there are a few moments that Connor could benefit from a good smack for being clueless. Anna is a real sweetheart, and Jenny is part of Connor’s issue with Rosalie. It’s a nice not-too-long book with a good story.

This is a low angst story but with lots of communication issues. Gosh, I hate when the characters don’t talk to each other. But Rosalie and Connor had their own reasons for it and it made for a little separation. I’m glad they worked it out and at the end I was left smiling.
