When Sadie Precillo’s project is the only one denied funding, she never expected her company’s handsome CEO to take a personal interest in it. Or that she’d be fired. I, Sadie Precillo, have been dealt a grievous injustice.LaviTech Labs is the WORST. The handsome CEO, Cassius Lavinius—INSUFFERABLE!!! Why is that, exactly? Oh, just because of the third-two projects submitted for funding mine was … third-two projects submitted for funding mine was the ONLY one to be denied.
That’s right—DENIED!
Heart Pill – FUNDED!
Anxiety Pill – FUNDED!
Vitamin Pill – FUNDED!
Fart Pill – FUNDED! (Yes, you read that correctly!)
Female Pleasure Pill – DENIED!
How cruel is that? I mean, how many boner pills do we have on the market? Can I even count them on one hand?
Well, Mr. Lavinius, I hope you realize what you’ve gotten yourself into. I don’t care how handsome and rich you are or how tall your tower is or how much security you have—I’m coming for you!
And you better believe I’m not going to stop until I get that FUNDING!
The Billionaire’s Funding is a standalone romantic comedy that fits into the bigger Beguiling a Billionaire world! If you LOVE to laugh! If you CRAVE a sexy SIZZLE! And if you HATE cliffhangers—this book is for you!

Once again another great story. With this one you feel like you are part of their story and can relate to things they do, like send a sexy picture to your boss by mistake instead of your ex. The character are incredible and you will be laughing to yourself and out loud, might get a couple strange looks. This was so worth the read

In general, I like the series. It’s great that they’re connected but still stand alone.
This particular book was just okay for me. The H was a definite playboy (thousands of women), and some parts of the story were kind of glossed over. The volume of proofreading issues distracted from the story and it didn’t seem as polished as I would have expected. That being said, I still liked the series enough to continue reading after this one.
I would recommend starting with the earlier books in this series.
I received a copy of this book at my request, and the opinions here are my own.
Sadie is a chemist at LaviTech Labs who wants to develop an orgasm pill, the O Go pill for women. The fact is she has never had an orgasm in her life. Cassius is the CEO of LaviTech labs and the billionaire who initially turns down funding to develop the O Go pill until he meets Sadie and decides to personally supply the funding. While doing a background check on Sadie he finds she’s five hundred thousand dollars in debt and decides to fire her from her job at his company but hires her to work in his private lab to develop this O Go pill. This book has it all, it is hilarious, has mystery and intrigue and Cassius is the man whore but what billionaire isn’t and Sadie is great. The characters are fun and their chemistry is great together. This is a wonderful story and fun read. I enjoyed every minute of it and want more. Loved it.

A great romantic comedy that immediately captivated me and kept me entertained and literally laughing out loud with great characters and an interesting concept around a pill to help women achieve an orgasm. I loved the instant attraction and undeniable chemistry between pharmaceutical scientist Sadie Precillo and Cassius Lavinus, CEO of Lavitech who decides to personally fund her project when it was denied by his company. If you enjoy laugh-out-loud romantic comedy, don’t miss “The Billionaire’s Funding” by new-to-me author Lark Anderson. It was a bit difficult for me to get into this story. This is a new author for me, but unfortunately I was not engaged. It’s well written, but maybe not my cup of tea?
When Sadie Precillo’s project is the only one denied funding, she never expected her company’s handsome CEO to take a personal interest in it. Or that she’d be fired and rehired by him. To work only for him. To live with him. When an Italian beauty meets billionaire CEO, everything can be possible!
I think that my main concern about this story was Cassius. I didn´t care for him. I can’t possible imagine a self-made billionaire to be so unstable. He seemed selfish (he is in bed) and immature. Sadie is not much better. I love outspoken women, but this one is just absurd. They can´t possible fall in love with each other, they didn’t even spend that much time together.
I give it three stars because the idea is really good. Some dialogs are funny and her friends are interesting.

The story is a quirky rom-com set around a pharmaceutical company owned by Cassius. Sadie is a research scientist for the company that wants to pursue a breakthrough drug but the company Board doesn’t approve her funding and Cassius decides to fund it on his own.
The story involves the push and pull between the boss/employee and not crossing professional lines. The extensive friend group of Cassius’ gets involved in the investment and as popularity increases, so does the visibility and gossip. Throw in the flaky mom and skeezy ex-boyfriend and you have a story.
The story was okay – the basic premise a little unbelievable. It was told in the dual POV. To me, there was a little too much “self talk”. I wasn’t too fond of the chapter titles.

If I can give this more than five I would. This had me laughing so hard. I like that Sadie wants to develop a pill to enhance woman’s pleasure. All the other research was approved but hers was not. She goes to her boss and pleads her case, and he agrees but not through the company but in a lab he will set up in his penthouse. There is also sext that went to the wrong person. This was just a great story with two wonderful characters, Sadie and Cassius and their interaction and banter just so entertaining. Great story.

Ticked all yhr boxes for me…
LOVED this, the literally lol moments, the embarrassing moments, the mother, please stop quilting me moments. The distrust that raises its’ ugly head on repeat. Notwithstanding the drama, anxiety & bizarre behaviour of even the hero & heroine although they at least had no malintent there was this building attraction between them. The heroine thought she was weak but she was strong. He took a chance on funding her project, it took off..BIG time. Shocking secrets & maleficence couldn’t stop the truth & they could eventually rid themselves of the shackles to find their destined nirvana. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Excellent romance with a humorous tone well posed without being too pushed
I loved the humorous tone of the geek Sadie who manages to unseat Cassius, her boss, into helping him fund her project. The tone is humorous but it can just as well be a little more serious, while still being quite hot.
The story is often unpredictable and ultimately a twist at times.
I had a great time with his two characters
Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some “oh no” “oh wow” ” what the what” moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Okay I think I sated some “oh no”, “oh wow” and “what the what” moments well get ready to laugh until tears are running because that is what you are going to get with these two. Sadie is brilliant created a pleasure pill for women (I am so on board for this) and puts in the request for funding only to be turned down by a man. Sexy CEO Cassius said no to the idea of a pleasure pill for women. One evening she confronts him about the why and he really do not give her a reason a real reason as to why but agrees to work with her personally after firing her. She gets herself into some shenanigans taking photos of herself in sexy wear and of course sends the picture to the wrong man…yep that gets Cassius attention real fast but where will it lead these two, will her pleasure pill get produced and will these two with their witty banter find happiness?

Lark Anderson has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Sadie and Cassius. Sadie has just found out that the funding she applied for through the company she works for has been denied. She goes to LaviTech Labs and wants to talk to the person overseeing the funding. Joyce, the receptionist lets her go up. When she gets to where she needed to be, she comes face to face with the CEO Cassius Lavinius. She starts to give him a hard time by saying out of the 30 that applied for the grant money, her’s was the only one denied. She wants to know why? Cassius tells her that he will fund her project himself. things heat up between Sadie and Cassius but he tries to stop it. After Sadie leaves his office, Cassius calls Tiffany and arranges to meet with her and go out. She is one of the ladies he hooks up with every so often. When they meet, all Tiffany can do is talk about herself. Sadie has gone out to have drinks with Joyce and she gets really drunk or so Joyce thinks. Joyce calls Cassius and tells him that he needs to come and take over since she was doing him a favor. When Cassius gets to where Joyce and Sadie are, he sees that Sadie is not acting like a regular drunk. .He thinks that she has been drugged. Cassius asks Joyce to help him getting Sadie to his apartment. Cassius is caught helping Sadie out of the bar and a picture is taking of them. All the tabloids want to know who is Cassius’s new girlfriend. Sadie and Cassius start to date until something happens with Tiffany. Tiffany sends Cassius a message saying that she needs to see him. When they meet, she tells him what he is going to do or the pictures she has of him will go to the media. Tiffany is blackmailing him and he doesn’t know how to get her to stop. A friend of Sadie’s shows her a picture of Cassius and Tiffany together and it said that she was his girlfriend. Sadie had been staying at Cassius’s apartment since he had his own lad that she was working out of, so she finished the research on her project and left his apartment. Cassius is not happy with the way things are going. He wants to be with Sadie, not Tiffany.
Will Cassius find a way to get away from Tiffany and get back with Sadie?
Can Sadie forgive Cassius for how he treated her?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a laugh-a-minute hilarious story about Sadie Precillo, a pharmaceutical scientist who is turned down for the research funding for the development of a female pleasure pill, and Cassius Lavinius, CEO of LaviTech Labs, whom she confronts in his office on a Saturday to demand the reason why. As she is about to leave in defeat and tears, despite her sassy arguments as to why this project is worthwhile, he tells her he will fund her project personally, but she won’t be able to use LaviTech labs for the work. Instead, he offers to get a lab set up in his Penthouse for her! And they talk through the preliminary plans and what they will need. But when she leaves, all he can think about is Sadie!
When her background check comes back with an astronomical amount of sudden debt, she won’t be allowed to continue at LaviTech because of the perceived temptation to repay debt through selling valuable drugs. So Cassius fires her, then tells her she will continue the project with him, despite her unwillingness to tell him why she was in such debt and so quickly. They texted in a bantering tone about her progress with the initial preparation. Then her ex-fiancé Darren texted that he missed her, even though he has a “replacement” girlfriend already. She decided to be naughty, put on lacy bra and panties, took a picture, and texted it to Darren to make him suffer. Only it didn’t go to Darren… and Cassius is wondering how he will ever be able to work on Sadie’s project with her when he has seen her in the skimpy lacy bra and panties!
The reader will love the quirky characters and their wild attraction to each other as they keep us entertained throughout the story line. You will never know when peals of laughter will erupt as you read this one! Share Sadie and Cassius’ love story with a little twist! You won’t want to miss this one!
I enjoyed reading this book it has wonderfully developed and engaging characters that have undeniable chemistry in every turn of the page. Great flow to the storyline.

This was such a great story! I love how outspoken Sadie can be, and how funny she gets when she is angry. Her first meeting with Cassius was so funny! In fact, many of their encounters and banter make me giggle. And Sadie’s mom is enough to make one crazy! This whole story was both fun and funny. This is a very entertaining book with a few twists that will have you reading from cover to cover to find out what happens next!

Light hearted romp:
If you are looking for nothing too serious and something a bit funny and snarky, then this may be just right for you.
Sadie was a scientist determined to develop a pill to enhance female pleasure but the only problem was that her sexy boss had denied her proposal. Little did he know how determined she was! Meanwhile Cassius was a self centered, rather annoying player and it took a long time for him to change his ways.
I found this book a bit shallow and I found myself wanting to have a deeper connection with both main characters. Also Sadie and Cassius are not a couple until the very end of the book and I missed seeing them grow together. Overall the story didn’t seem fully developed to me and could have benefited from being fleshed out more.

This is the 3rd book of the Beguiling a Billionaire series. It is well written and the storyline is well build up. I just love this series.
Cassius was a playboy billionaire pharmaceutical company owner who had no interest in love. He loved having a beautiful woman on his arm for a night. But amazing how an woman in tight yoga pants can change your outlook on life. A half a million dollars later he’s invested in her magical pink pill that gives women orgasm. The book is well written and has a good flow. The characters are likable and well developed. Cassius and Sadie were so great together and their chemistry was explosive. The story has quite a few twists and shady characters that will keep you page turning. No cliffhanger and a happy ending. I read a free book via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
