The comedy in this book OH.MY.GOD is just fabulous. I was literally laughing while reading this book. ~Bed and Books I’m no Prince Charming, and the last thing I want is a Cinderella. My instructions were simple: scour the city for a fake fiancée who’s not my type at all. Have her on my jet Monday morning, dressed for a yacht vacation. I need a woman believable enough to convince a certain … enough to convince a certain client that I’ve changed my playboy ways…yet too annoying to tempt me—no emotional entanglements, thank you very much. This is business only.
If she’s unfazed by my looks and wealth, all the better. Should be easy. Right?
Apparently not, because my people go and hire Tabitha. My hairdresser.
What were they thinking? Yes, I said annoying, but I didn’t mean her, the most aggravating woman in the world.
Tabitha is sunshiny. She has a pet hamster. She loves Hello Kitty, and she gets under my skin like nobody else.
As if that’s not bad enough, the minute we step on deck, she thinks that certain people on the yacht are up to something shady—based completely on her soap opera knowledge. She won’t listen when I tell her she’s being ridiculous.
But as the days go by, I find that we’re actually having fun. And our fake kisses are heating up. And suddenly her wild theories aren’t sounding so strange after all…

Nothing fake here, I loved this book! 5 stars
This book was the perfect rom-com: characters I loved, made me laugh out loud, made me feel and made me swoon! I loved Tabitha the most, and I related to her so much! She loved soap operas, and I watched soap operas from the womb! She was quirky and fun but had a depth that not a lot of people noticed except Rex. Ah, Rex! He was a gruff, grumpy, controlling man, but beautiful and swoon-worthy underneath all that. Tabitha and Rex together were magic and fire, opposites attract in the best way. She was the light to his dark and not afraid of his stern exterior, and he saw her true self underneath her fun exterior. The fake fiancee plot with shenanigans and a light mystery thrown in (on a yacht, no less) was hilarious to read! I enjoyed and loved every minute of this book and definitely recommend it!

This quirky Romantic Comedy features a billionaire and his hairdresser. Yes, you read that right – hairdresser! I’ve read my fair share of Billionaire Romances but have yet to read one that stars a hairdresser. Absolutely *nothing* wrong with this romance. Tabitha is actually Rex’s yen to his yang. You’ll see.
He’s definitely a piece of work. Brought himself up from nothing. Though now that he’s made it to billionaire status it still doesn’t seem like enough for him. He’s looking to land a whale, as they say in Vegas, and he needs a fake fiancee to complete the deal.
Tabitha is everything he thought he’d despise in a woman. When he finds out his right hand has contracted her to play the role of his fake fiancee he was fit to be tied! How will this ever work?
Joke’s on Rex though. She pretty much wears him down just by being herself. Y’all know there has to be some conflict though right? Well it’s all in the book. You’ll just have to read it to figure out what because I’m not going to spoil it for you.
Omg I love Tabitha!!!! This book made my face hurt I laughed so much!! This story was like rainbow bright meets grumpy cat lol. Rex was so grumpy I wanted to throat punch him but there’s no one that annoys hims as much as Tabitha and that alone made me feel good lol. When he needs a fake fiancé he is not to pleased that it’s Tabitha. Just thinking of Tabitha antics makes me laugh
This is a fun ROM – COM romance.
In this book we have Rex O’Rourke who is a strong Alpha male character. He grew up and made something of himself, although that is the grouchy version of himself.
Rex O’Rourke is a known playboy, and that he never sleeps with the same woman twice. When presented with the chance to sign the biggest contract of his life with a very family minded CEO Rex finds himself needing to do a bit of polish to his reputation. Rex’s and his business partner Cater decided the way to do this is to bring a fake fiancé with them on a 2-week family trip with the CEO on a mega yacht. What could go wrong?
Tabitha Evans beats to her own drum. She loves Hello Kitty, she is a mobile hairdresser. She is like no one Rex has ever met before. Tabitha is very bubbly and outgoing, much to the surprise of Rex. Tabitha has been cutting Rex’s hair for the past 2 years, but he probably doesn’t even notice her.

I absolutely LOVED this new Billionaire book by Annika Martin! Such a page turner. The pacing kept me wanting more and more, and I really could not put it down. Ms. Martin’s books are a godsend during this time of uncertainty and upheaval, and they will make your heart warm. They are the bon bon corrective to what’s happening in the world around us now. Get this book NOW, so you can gobble it up like the rich, creamy chocolate treat it is.
This was such a refreshing and unique read. I know the fake fiancee trope has been done many times but this was unique. It has a few different tropes. It was a fake fiancee (obviously), second chance, romantic suspense, opposites attract, billionaire, romantic comedy. The first few chapters were hilarious! I was literally cackling. I loved this book. It was highly entertaining. There was a perfect mixture of romance, suspense, comedy, and angst. I fell in love with the characters. Rex is the sexy, broody billionaire hedge fund manager. He is married to his job and loves it. He takes no time off, not even to get his hair cut. He has his hair cut in his office by Tabitha. Tabitha owns a mobile haircutting business. She is a lover of soap operas and everything sparkly and Hello Kitty. She is quirky and over-the-top but sweet, full of sunshine, smart, strong, funny as hell, and has a very active imagination. She’s had a secret crush on Rex for 2 years. Mix in the amusing and wonderful secondary characters, and it was perfection.
Rex O’Rourke wants to win this account. It is a big one and will put him on top. The only problem is that he needs a woman, one who is the complete opposite of the supermodels and elite women he has been seen with. He wants someone annoying and with no emotional entanglements. Someone believable enough to convince a very important client that he isn’t the playboy everyone thinks he is. He doesn’t spend more than one night with any woman, no exceptions, so finding a suitable woman may prove to be harder than he imagined. Luckily, he has the help of his assistant and long-time friend, Clark, to help him out. Clark knows the perfect candidate. It’s Tabitha, Rex’s hairdresser. Everything about her annoys him and she is the complete opposite of Rex. No chance of romantic entanglements, right? Rex is not happy about this choice but with the time constraints, there isn’t anything he can do about it. They’re about to embark on a two-week cruise. The cruise proves to be more than they both bargained for in more ways than one! Hilarity, action, suspense, heartbreak, and sexy times ensue. I loved seeing how their relationship evolved. It was perfectly paced. There was so much depth to the story and characters.
This story is packed with so many emotions and all of the goodness you come to expect from Annika Martin. She really knocked this out of the park for me. I was completely taken with the plot and characters. The chemistry between Rex and Tabitha cracked and sizzled. This was a great read! I gobbled it up in one day. I highly recommend reading it.

Rex is your typical grouchy billionaire who just so happens to need a fake fiancée. Tabitha is a crazy, sassy, Hello Kitty loving hairdresser. While Tabitha and Rex are complete opposites on paper, you know what they say, opposites attract. Soon the fake relationship they are portraying starts to feel real. But can they convince everyone else (and themselves) that it’s the real deal?
The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée is a crazy, fun, light-hearted romantic comedy that will have you laughing out loud at Tabitha’s antics and rooting for these two to make it.
Hairdresser Tabitha Evans agrees to be fake fiancée to the achingly gorgeous billionaire Rex O’Rourke, a client she’s crushed on for over 2 year years. As soon as Tabitha boards a yacht for the 2 week job, she knows there’s something very fishy going on but Rex insists she seeing things that aren’t there. There is a lot of life wisdom in soap operas and Tabitha is going to prove that to Rex!
The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancee is a funny, intriguing and steamy story full of fun and quirky characters that makes for an entertaining read
I love fake fiancee stories and this did not disappoint. Rex needs a fiancee to prove to a client he’s changed his playboy ways. He wanted annoying and his staff decide Tabitha, his hairdresser was the perfect fit for Rex. She’s sassy, fun and quirky and total opposite of anything he has dated so this should be perfect for him to keep his hands off. Now on a two week cruise with his client, Rex is finding it hard to do just that. This story had me laughing throughout it all.
The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée, yet again this amazing author takes a well used plot and twists it into her own fantastic story!
I loved that Tabitha wasn’t afraid of Rex, like everyone else is. And that she didn’t back down, which only gained her Rex’s respect.
Tabitha, the colorful and funny woman who hides herself and her heart behind over the top craziness.
Rex, the grumpy and handsome man who hides himself behind work and power.
What happens when these two try to work together? Are they even compatible?
Believe me, this book is so worth it!
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down.Annika Martin is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
I was reading this and laughing so hard I had tears running down my face. I loved Tabitha: she had a traumatic childhood that left her to not expect much of fellow human. I could find so much similarly in the was she always has a smile on her face and seems easy going and happy but being no such thing.
Rex; aaaa Rex. I actually loved him right up until the book almost ended. With every she went through he really should have known better and doing what he did. But I will say he did everything right with his grand gesture so I warmed up a little bit after that.
This book has it all: funny banter, chemistry that will make your toes curl and just enough drama to see that sometimes you need to fight with everything to get the HEA.

The Billionaire’s Fake Fiance was another awesome page turner from Annika Martin. This novel included rom-com, opposites attract and fake fiance tropes into one entertaining tale.
It was a hilarious, laugh-out loud story, that included some mystery and angst and I was hooked from beginning to end.
The main characters Rex and Tabitha were two likable characters who were totally opposite to each other. Tabitha was a sassy, quirky character who brought so much laughter and comic relief to the story and was so different from the stuffy, controlled, workaholic Rex. Their back and fort banter was amusing and will have you laughing aloud. Yet these two had intense chemistry together, their steamy scenes were hott and I enjoyed seeing their relationship move from fake to real.
This novel was an excellent page-turner, worthy of a 5 star status. I loved it and would highly recommend it to all lovers of fake fiancé romance.
Annika’s rom-coms have heroines who are quirky and full of personality, but I don’t think Tabitha can be topped. She is everything that Rex hates, from her sparkles to her soap opera obsession. To be honest, I initially admired her ability to deal with alpha Rex, but she started to wear on me the same way she did Rex with the way she said things instead of *gasp* simply doing them. But once we started to learn a little more about Tabitha, I saw what she was hiding, just like Rex. Soon I was relating to her in a whole new way and it was crazy to realize I’m not the only one in the world who has birthday issues or to have people decide they don’t like your personality (at least it was BEFORE she got married…). I struggles with reading some of this book because it hit close to home, but it’s also uplifting to know that there’s a HEA possible, which is why we read, isn’t it?
Annika Martin made me smile and forget all the real life stress completely while reading The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancèe. This story takes witty banter and humor to a whole new level. The swoon quotient was epically high. I am so in love with this sexy, funny, heartwarming and magical romance.
Rex O’Rourke is the god of trading funds and master of stock market. His life is all work and no play. But he needs a fak Fiancèe to secure the account he has been working relentlessly for a long time. Tabitha, his hairdresser is the last person to be considered for the role. But he wanted someone who infuriates him. To make it easy to part ways at the end of the megayacht trip. And Tabitha needed the money. But they both soon going to realize they have so much more at stake.
Tabitha and Rex couldn’t be any more different. Outside. Tabitha is the bubbly, lively, cute , adorable, happy and obnoxiously people friendly person. She lights up any room and her positive energy is infectious. She is quirky with a beautiful sense of humor and loud sense of fashion. She has a big heart even though she has been abandoned and hurt by people she cares for repeatedly. And she is the perfect antidote for brooding, growling, scowling, no fun Rex. Rex has concentrated on work as he had nothing else more valuable. But Tabitha takes his dull and boring world by storm and fills it up with love and laughter. This story was a laughing and smiling and warm adventure. It didn’t have a single dull moment. The chemistry is brilliantly built. From friends to reluctant partners to lovers. The hilarious events in yacht hurt my stomach from too much laughing. Also the intense emotions made my heart ache so sweetly! It had just the right touch of angst and heartbreak to add to the depth of the story and make it more perfect.
Opposites attract can be such a cliche in romance but Annika Martin gave that old saying new twist expertly. The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancèe was sweet , flirty, adorable and so much entertaining! This sexy and loving story helped me escape the reality. And gave me pure happiness. And that’s, for me, the biggest accomplishment a romance author can achieve!
Received ARC for honest review
This was such a fabulously funny, sexy enemies to lovers read. Rex is of course our billionaire and he is headed to win over one of his biggest clients and she is a family woman.
Tabitha is a hairdresser and she has been cutting Rex’s hair for years. He is gruff, brooding, demanding and she has learned what little things rub him the wrong way so she says them …in the nicest way possible. Rex’s asks his best friend to hire him a fake fiancé and of course he chooses Tabitha. This is a whirlwind two week cruise on Rex’s clients yacht.
This couple is oil and water. Tabitha does not seemed phased by Rex’s wealth and power and she is constantly brining him back to the real world with her words and ways. She wants him to open is eyes and live . I loved their sparring with her sassiness. She was constantly taking him out of his comfort zone and I loved it ! They had such a fun and refreshing witty banter !
Get ready for a funny, sexy, adventure that may also have a bit of mystery and intrigue !! Bon Voyage !

The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée
The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée has to go down as one of my all time favourite Romantic comedies! Annika Martin has once again, created two incredibly delightful characters, set in a world that I know and love. She has woven the most hilarious, laugh a minute, swoon inducing, fast paced, romantic piece of fiction!
Rex, the no fun, no play, stoic, self-made millionaire has time for nothing but work. Nothing. Even his weekly hair cuts are scheduled around his work life. Tabitha is his opposite in every way. She’s a social butterfly, glittery and quirky and is self deprecating to a fault. Her weekly visit to Rex is a welcome task. One where she can try and bring a little light to his world.
When an opportunity comes up that she can’t refuse, can Tabitha stay true to herself while helping Rex pursue the contract of a lifetime. Can Rex unravel all of these strange feelings? And can they both work as a team to find out if thre is truth to the plot lines in Tabitha’s favourite soap operas?
This is a brilliant read and I loved it!
What happens when you engage your mobile hairdresser into your fake relationship ruse simply because she hit every item on your list you hate? What then happens when your list of turns offs becomes what attracts you most to a person? That is the exact quandary that Rex O’Rourke is in.
Rex on the hand is hands down a bit of a jerk, well a complete control freak jerk, but somehow Tabitha worms her way past all his walls and helps loosen Rex up.
The story has lots of twist and turn. I loved all the Soap Opera references. As a kid that grew up with my mom watching them it totally brought back great memories. This was a 4/5 read for me. I had a few problems with the ending. I don’t want to ruin it but hold onto your hats it is a bit of a ride to get to the HEA.

I thought this book was just a delight to read.
Something that is funny and lighthearted in these depressing times.
Rex is the grumpy grouchy billionaire.
He’s trying to seal the deal on a major account.
But of course he needs to prove to his potential client he is not a playboy.
That he’s only a one woman kind of man now.
Enter Tabitha.
She’s sunshine and rainbows.
Always laughing and finding the positive even when it’s not there.
Tabitha is also Rex’s hairstylist.
So when Rex needs a fake fiancée it’s Tabitha to the rescue.
Now just image a serious no nonsense man and a bubbly soap opera loving lady on a two week cruise together with some mischief going on.
Yes you are in for a wonderful funny story.
I adored this story so much.
Rex the workaholic billionaire, tall, handsome and rude, was a jerk with a capital J.
I would have said another word but my review won’t pass so anyway, a very colorful word but still that broody and infuriating man won me over. Thanks to the woman who would explode all his walls with her bubbly, shiny personality, a true soap opera fan but nonetheless smart and perceptive.
Two people who knew how to hide their feelings, but both more alike than they would have imagined.
I feel for this incredible banter and smoking hot chemistry. Tabitha was one of my favorite heroines ever, a funny hairdresser with her shiny looks and bright personality who seemed to attract people around her. She was part of the few people that Rex tolerated, their weekly haircuts sessions were an interesting moment, he was rude and bored, she was not giving a damn.
All bets were off the moment when he had to engage Tabitha as his fake-fiancée.
Annika Martin managed to write about a hero you’d love to hate and strangle for sure and the woman who would turn his world upside down was also a bit crazy and could be seen as irrational with her soap opera theories.
Nevertheless, the magic was operating and I was fascinated at every interaction, this fake relationship which has become a little too real for their liking. I guess you have to take this story as it goes and it was such a welcoming distraction and delightful read.
I appreciated a strong heroine who kept him on his toes, sassy and funny but also so much more,
Could I say that watching this jerk giving a run for his money was really fun? It definitely was.
I guess the constant bickering and their confused feelings got me, but what I loved the most was how they showed their true colors and revealed themselves, their part of vulnerability.
It was funny, sweet with a strong hint of hotness.
So.damn.good!!
