By: Vivi Holt
Narrated by: Amanda Stribling
David left after high school to become a rock star. Now years later, he is famous, but looking for more than the one night stand. When he answers and email on an email-order wife from his high school sweetheart, he thinks he may have just found the answer to his dreams. Cassidy is a widow with 3 children, trying to make ends meet. When David answers the email her friend set up for her, she thinks this may be the answer to her problems. Each have that first love feeling that still burns, but is that enough to make a marriage work? Will David be able to adjust to a ready made family? Will Cassidy trust that the marriage will last? And what secrets could pull them apart? A funny, loving story, I was pulled in from the start. Vivi Holt delivers a feel good romance with a few ups and downs, a lot of child fun, songs to melt your heart and a love that never ended. It’s second chances and dreams come true.
Narrated by Amanda Stribling, we are treated to a fantastic story telling. She is a talent that easily falls into character and provides all the feels in her stories. I love her voices, and the way her nuances and inflections tell the story. This is another wonderful performance.

Cassidy is tired. After working two jobs to take care of herself and three children and paying for the medical care of her late husband she is desperate. When her friend signed her up for online dating she meets her high school sweetheart. David is desperate for some rest and a place to belong. When he signed up for a mail-order wife he’s surprised to discover Cassidy as his potential bride. When they decide of a marriage of convenience her life is becoming a little better but trusting and loving is still a big scary step, for both.
I loved this story. Vivi Holt has always something on her sleeve to surprise you, so also in this story. Pick this book up, it won’t disappoint, even better start with the first book in the series.
What does a burned out rock star and a widow with three young children have in common? Could it be love—or something more.
In The Billionaire’s Email Order Wife, Vivi Holt gives us an honest look at the emptiness that sometimes accompanies celebrity. And the deep-seated desire for something normal—love, companionship and hope.
She also gracefully handles the financial and emotional devastation that follows a long illness and loss of a spouse—grief, anxiety and exhaustion.
Can David’s kindness overcome the protective wall that Cassidy has built around her heart? Can love be the balm for the loneliness they each feel?
I recommend this book.
David Weston went to L. A. And became a rockstar he got cought up in the glitz and glamor of it all but when hes ready to break away from it and get back who he used to be he goes home to Ocilla, Georgia. She’s home living with her parents trying to pay off medical debt and deal with her sorrow but shes working 2 jobs just to stay ahead of it all with her kids less then happy about everything and the loss of a parent she doesn’t have anything left. But when her friend makes a suggestion and sighns her up on a dating marriage app she decides to try. Only her blind date is someone she already knows David.
They get together deciding to marry for Cassidy it seems unreal can David and her make it work when they’ve lead such different life’s what if he wants to go back to his old life what then. Cassidy also has a secret what is it. These two need each other but when Cassidy leaves will David get over himself and find out what went wrong what has Cassidy kept from him.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Another interesting book by Vivi Holt, with a lot of discoveries in it!
David Weston, is burned out of the rockstar lifestyle, and heads back to his small home town, hoping to decide his next move. He really just wants to marry, and start a family, so decides to look for an email-order bride, on the internet. Cassidy is a widow with three children, and her friend signs her up on some dating sites, including the same site. When her friend lets her know she has a date, living in the same town, she reluctantly decides to check it out. It is quite a lot to take in, but she agrees to his proposal; though, she is reluctant to give up her two jobs. They have some up and downs, to say the least, but it is well worth the read. I highly recommend it!
