He’s an Olympic gold medalist, she’s a wellness coach, and they have to learn to run a fitness island resort together.Blake “The Blazing Comet” Witlock is an internationally famous gold medalist runner. Known around the world for being a playboy billionaire and sports icon, the last thing he wants to do is settle down and run a fitness area on his family’s Alaskan island resort. Another winner in the Holliday Islands Resort series! This book was a joy to read. It is full of laughs and love. I received an ARC copy of this book and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
A family of ’stars’ . . . .a RICH family whose dad wants to run everything . . .including Comet’s exclusive fitness resort – to the point of hiring someone to ‘fix’ it . .. . SUPERB love story!!
When Blake’s father hired Peyton to help to make Comet Island the best wellness place of the world he tries to do everything he needs to do to get her to leave. But she has also some things on her sleeve. Then his opinion of her starts to change. But will it be too late?
This is an entertaining story that will you go to different emotions from start to finish.
I loved this holiday book. While the characters start off at opposing each other, they find their common interests. Comet island is about fitness but needs updated. The move to include a wellness program has thrown him off and the lady who is picked to help revive his island does also. Both find challenges and romance. A wonderful story that has you turning the page.
I loved this book, author and series. I highly recommend this book, author and series. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
Another enjoyable Holliday Islands Resort book. This is a fun Multi Author series written with a touch of comedy and a whole lot of love.
Blake, an Olympic gold medalist, and Peyton, a well known wellness coach seem to be at odds, but could they really be just what the other needs?
Peyton starts this project to earn the extra money she needs to take her business to the next level. Blake resents everything this represents, due to the fact he doesn’t really want to be involved with the part of the family business that his father has put him in charge of!
The addition of the comical Yorkie named Comet was a great touch! Jenna Brandts addition to the series is both fun and will indeed make you smile! Don’t wait to get your copy!
I received an ARC of this book and am choosing to write an honest review.
Such a delightful love story with a wonderful cast of character names, one hateful step-monster, and a goofy yorkie named Comet. As the story begins you wonder how Peyton and Blake are ever going to manage to work together, but the author wove a sweet and unexpected love story that makes someone ugly sweater smile
I really enjoyed this book!! Peyton was the perfect woman to get Blake Comet Holliday to re-think his life. She helps him see how he can incorporate something he shared with his deceased mother into improving his island, and that’s he’s a success. Comet the dog was a nice touch, too, though my attitude would have been like Blake’s in the beginning. I think she should have found out how he felt about animals before buying a dog and having it delivered. The idea was great, but it’s also obvious she really doesn’t know much about animals, herself! However, both Blake and I came around in the end, and mine was helped because I do like all animals, though I prefer cats, but Comet ended up getting back at someone Blake and I didn’t like! Another great book in this series!
I received a complimentary copy of the book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is totally my own!
Blake, the Blazing Comet and Peyton have a chance at love … But will they make it?
Well, Jenna Brandt has written this story with so many ups and downs and twists on it that I didn’t think so, but love prevails and thats all I’m telling you about that detail of this book.
She has given us two really quirky characters whom I just loved and what they only get up to, baking cookies, flying a plane, making an ornament out of glass and so on is quite fascinating.
They adopt a little dog that is just so sweet – I love it when it turns out to be the exact opposite of what they were expecting in behaviour.
This is a shortish, clean story and one that I enjoyed very much.
I read an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of the ebook and this has been my voluntary and unbiased review of it.
