Remarkable! Ms. Raines delivers again.
With its mix of brutish and exuberant characters, this fast paced and compelling read had me at the edge of my seat. Family secrets are never what they seem, and I couldn’t wait to unravel Jake’s.
Janelle’s ability to see visions sets her apart from the other St. Neuri heroines, but she’s just as fierce and as dedicated to her man. She’s perfect for the misunderstood and isolated Jake who had me swooning at books end.
A buzzworthy plotline and a beautiful representation of emotions and philanthropy. I could never tire of reading about St. Neuri, and Ms. Raines didn’t disappoint. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is book three of the Werewolves of St. Neuri. Each book gets progressively better, but this could also be read as a stand-alone. Jake is a werewolf and Janelle is a visual psychic. Their journey in an attempt at their HEA is filled with mistrust, fear, attempted murder, and love. Good storyline and wonderful characters. Good short read.

The main female character has a gift of being able to read people, have visions about their future, in the small town where she lives. She meets the resident billionaire who pretty much keeps to himself and is surprised when she cannot read him, this sparks her interest in him. She then goes to a biker bar and realizes that she can’t read them either. There is lots of action, drama and romance that keeps the story intriguing. A nicely written shifter book.

Janelle rubbed her tired eyes as she worked on a couple articles for the newspaper. Recovering from the flu, she needed to work late to catch up. With a headache beginning, she decided to call it a night and go home. Despite the late hour, a woman was exiting the diner as Janelle was heading in. All of a sudden, a vision came – she had been having visions since the age of five – and she saw the woman going home and finding her ex-husband pointing a gun at her. If Janelle could not convince her to stay away from her home, despite the changed locks, the woman would be murdered that night. She didn’t know if she convinced her or not, but the woman mumbled she would spend the night at her mother’s house. Then she drove away.
The next day Janelle greeted her co-worker, Cheryl, who was finishing an article on the semi-reclusive billionaire, Jake Masters. Cheryl didn’t like that he came to St. Neuri, bought up a great deal of land, did nothing with it, and only came down from his mountain to get into trouble, pay the fine, and go back up! Ever since the terrifying fog of 5 years ago, when people turned up dead and wolf sightings were numerous, things had not been the same in St. Neuri. People moved away, businesses closed, the town seemed to be fading away. So Cheryl’s article on the CEO, who could possibly have made things better by starting new businesses, was not flattering.
Janelle was startled when the newspaper office door crashed open. She ran to the lobby to see what was going on. Something about the stranger was very compelling to her. He demanded to see Cheryl and insisted she print a retraction of the hatchet article on him. Cheryl and Eliza, the newspaper editor-in-chief, arrived and the argument continued. Janelle was trying to figure out what was different about this man. She didn’t have a need to shield her mind as she did with everyone else – Jake was just like a blank wall! There were no visions at all from Jake?? He threatened to buy the newspaper and fire all of them if he did not get his retraction. Then he left.
Janelle cannot stop thinking about the mystery of why she was not seeing visions from Jake. She is on a mission to find out the answer. Will this help her find the peace she is seeking? Or will it open her up to danger when she uncovers the fact that Jake is a werewolf?
I really enjoyed this story, part of a series released in short segments. It was well-written and had interesting characters. The story line involves a mystery that engaged the reader through plenty of twists and turns. Definitely recommended!
This was a good story. I was drawn in by the characters from the first sentence of this story. The elusive billionaire was a good touch. The good girl with a secret gift was a good story line. I found myself upset with the billionaire for not expressing his emotions sooner. This story stayed with me even after I finished reading. This book was well worth my time. I recommend that you read this story.

The fog in St. Neuri had been gone for five years now but still lingered in the long term residents minds. Janelle had worked at the St. Neuri newspaper for over seven years now. She enjoyed the peace and quiet in the office far away from people. Silence gave her a break from the headaches from shielding people away. The more she was around people, the more visions she had of the future. She never interfered unless it was life threatening and then she would give them a voice, even if it did make her sound crazy.
Jake Masters was known as the odd, semi-reclusive billionaire around St. Neuri who swept in a few years back, built up a mansion overlooking the town. He’s been quietly buying up tons of property in St. Nerui but not doing anything with it. Jake comes down from his mansion, gets into fights at the bars, gets arrested, and retreats up the mountain once he pays his fine.
Abigail Raines is allowing her characters to reveal more and more secrets hidden in St. Neuri. The more I know, the more I want to know. The journey that takes place between Janelle and Jake is riddled with confusion and emotion. A push and pull of want and fear from both of them. They are each so individually strong natured but relatable in their insecurities, making it hard to resist wanting them to succeed. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

She has a special gift. He is a billionaire werewolf. There is more to the town than meet the eye. They are drawn to each other. It is full of intrigue, surprises, suspense, drama, romance, emotions and so much more. I received a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
Janelle a news reporter and a woman who has had visions since she was young but they tend to leave her with massive migraines when she sees into the lives of others, but when her friend Cheryl does an article on the new billionaire who has come to leave in St. Neuri and has been in trouble and seems to be doing nothing to improve the city and without getting his pov she is called on the carpet when he bursts into the newspaper office and demands a retraction. Jake Masters is everything that Janelle thought she wasn’t interested in until she comes to his mansion and she interviews him and has a vision that almost renders her unconscious Jake is there to make sure she is alright. This is a suspenseful romance with lots of action with the jealous bully who believes that what he is doing is right even when it is wrong. I was given a copy as a gift from the author without obligation. I am providing an honest review.

This book was as good as the last two in the series. I’m so looking forward to reading the next book in the series. It was entertaining and intense. The twist in the plot gave it an edge. I was hooked from the very beginning of the book. Great read.

This story is okay; the writing is okay. The story is weird, but the St. Neuri books all have been weird. The characters are funny and over the top. The story is okay for a way to pass some time.
I loved this story. The third in this series and while the story take place in St Neuri and we get to see characters from the first two books, this story is unique and well written. Can’t wait for more. I would have given 5 stars but I
Wish there had been more tension. I also wished there was something more to her visions and the possibilty of her finding more about why she was having them. Maybe there will be more in a sequel? I think this author has a good story and series going, but they seem to be getting shorter.
Janelle sees visions and it’s affected her every day life. She can’t bare to be near too many people or she gets overwhelmed. When she’s confronted by an angry billionaire that her colleague has written an article about – she finds that instead of visions, what she gets from him is just silence – and it’s so unprecedented that she he just has to find out why. Little does she know what secrets Jake is keeping, nor what they mean to each other.
Come and jump into the amazing place that is the St Neuri and the werewolves that have taken up living there.
Great characters and story that I enjoyed so very much.
Janelle is a journalist, but also an untrained seer. No matter with whom she is , she can see glimpses of their future. One day she meets Jake – and there is no vision. On the quest to find out why she discovers a new, hidden world and becomes essential to keeping peace in the area
An interesting story, a mix of romance, adventure and mystery. A fun read to relax.

This book starts five years after the mysterious fog hit St. Neuri. Janelle who is a reporter at St. Neuri newspaper can see visions which causes her to have migraine headaches afterwards so she avoids crowds. Her friend Cheryl a reporter wrote a negative article on the billionaire Jake Masters that moved in town, so Jake comes in demanding a rebuttal. Janelle realizes she gets no visions when she concentrates on Jake and is curious; why not, so when the paper sends her to interview him she goes and she receives a vision on a object he has in his house and sees wolves and how the town started. Later Janelle goes to celebrate Cheryl’s birthday party at a biker bar and realizes that she can’t read most of the people in the bar and sees Jake drinking and ask him; why. Does he tell her? This book was full of action as Jake and Janelle struggle to be accepted by the werewolves of St. Neuri and each other. This is a great third book in this series that has romance, drama and action. I volunteer to read and review this ARC.
This book is just as good as the last two and the writing on this book is just as exciting as well. I am really interested in more of your books.

Jake and Janelle each were harboring secrets. For Janelle she had visions where she could see the fate of others and Jake was dealing with the consequences of others at the hands of his grandfather who was looking for a cure. One thing is for sure, when these two met they never expected the feelings that would arise from skin to skin touching or how it would impact them. Do they stand a chance against the wrath of angry wolves?
