A wildland firefighter–and mountain lion shifter–Edward is the youngest of the Stanton siblings, and hasn’t touched a woman in a decade, not since his late fiancee was killed in a violent tragedy. But when he meets the sweet, adorable Molly Sloan, a friend of his new sister-in-law, Lilah… his determination to remain celibate begins to unravel. Something about Molly is irresistible. Something … irresistible. Something about her makes him forget the past… and hear the Beat. But Edward will have to fight for her — forces are gathering to use her in ways that might separate them forever.

Edward & Molly… From the first chapter – the first kiss – there’s drama & excitement over how they really shouldn’t be a match for each other, but their attraction is undeniable.
I received this book as a free ARC in the Boxset of books 1-3 in exchange for an honest review.
Great
This time the very quite Edward has to come to deal with the beat. Molly works at Plat getting the employees ready for shifts at the club but has been promoted to Eva’s assistant. Molly & Edward met at Lilah & Gavin’s wedding. Can he fall again. There is danger out there involving Molly’s blood.
Really enjoyed the paranormal premise. The characters were well drawn and well developed. I definitely want to read the rest of the series and the previous books as well. Characters were real and therefore not perfect, which made it more real and enjoyable.
It’s the first book I read of this author and what can I say – I’m literally blown away. Although it’s mit the first book in the series, I guess I need to read the rest of them. Edward has so much pain inside and punisches himself for the death of his belove fiancé so many years back that Molly is not only a wonderful distraction but is just the One that will get him out of his misery… A very strong story with great characters. Amazing.
Love this family of shifters. Great books well written.
Typical ‘Billionaire’s’ romance only with a shifter. What a drag it is. The plot lacks originality and is part tear-jerker, part tries to be funny, and all dull.
The whole series is a great fantasy escape!
A great continuation of the series. I wish the series would have something new that seems to stand in the way of the main characters beyond the “this will never work“. Sometimes when you over play that angle, a story can become a little angst-y and YA. This story doesn’t fall into that trap however it does walk the line.
Edward is a mountain lion shifter and very very rich. His fiancée was killed by a serial killer ten years ago and he hasn’t been with a woman since. Molly is human and works for a club for the wealthy. When it’s discovered that her blood is special, they must protect her from evil people. Edward swears to never love again but he realizes Molly is the One. Can they find out who stood her blood that was made into a serum?
Great story with action and sex. This is the first book I have read by this author and it was smoking hot.
Great series!
fun read
Loved this book
This is book three in a series; not having read the prior two, I was at a bit of a disadvantage as far as some of the atmosphere and back-story. But this story did manage to stand pretty well on it’s own. Fairly appealing characters, interesting plot. There was a quite a bit though of things that seemed like they deserved more follow-up. Sometimes the action or dialogue got jumbled so much that I couldn’t even follow what was going on. And every single thing was just SO dramatic! That got old way fast. Still, after awhile, I’d probably read additional volumes in the series, especially later ones to learn what happens with some of the players.
Yea, these two make a great couple. I think big brother has the hots for Dr. Sam. Thinking Carl was part of it a sec really ticked me off. But all’s well. Edward deserved love again. And he got sparky. I think A needs a live match also.
Could hardly put down look forward to reading next one
my first read for this author. will look for more to read.
