A hot and hilarious romantic comedy collection – perfect for fans of Lauren Blakely, Sophie Kinsella, and Julia Kent!Sexy Australian billionaire Grant Devlin is ruining my life. He exercises shirtless in his office, is notorious for his lunchtime hook-ups, he even yawns sexily. If I didn’t need this job so bad, I’d take his black Amex and tell him where to swipe it.He doesn’t even know I exist, … it.
He doesn’t even know I exist, but why would he? He jets off to Paris with supermodels, I spend Friday nights with Netflix and a chunk of Pepperidge Farm frozen cake–waiting for his call. Because every time he crashes his yacht, or blows $500k on a single roulette spin in Monte Carlo, I’m the PR girl who has to clean up his mess.
But this time, it’s going to take more than just a fat charity donation. This time, the whole company is on the line. He needs to show investors that he’s settling down, and Step #1 is pretending to date a nice, stable girl until people forget about what happened with the Playboy Bunnies backstage at the Oscars.
My plan is perfect, except for one thing:
He picks me.

Very amusing with enough drama to keep me reading. I bought the next stand alone book in the series.
Enjoyable
I LOVED The characters so much THE GODMOTHER NOT SO MUCH !!!!!!!!
A good read!
This was a fun read. Story with a twist.
Enjoyed the book
What fun read, with heat. Couldn’t put it down.
I really enjoyed this book and the authors style. I just wished it had also had parts from the main guys perspective, too, instead of just the main gals.
Terrific
The was a great story about how someone can find love in the most unexpected ways. She worked hard putting herself through college and getting her dream job, but her immediate boss is a pain. He is always getting into trouble. But can she help him. And then there is the evil godmother.
Love these characters!
Enjoyabe read.
Loved this book and the characters. I did not want it to end. The relationship that was building between Grant and Lacey was enthralling, passionate, and many times funny. Want to read some more of these!
Enjoyed this book.
Too self involved, no real ending
I’m glad this was the complete trilogy or I would have been disappointed with cliffhangers. Totally enjoyed Grant and Lacey’s story. They were both likable characters. Some of the descriptive writing was a little much. “The ancient printer started up wheezing and groaning like an asthmatic with a face full of pepper spray”. And there was a lot of it. Sex scenes were hot and steamy. I will look for more books by this author.
I hate cliff hangers. Sneaky way to keep you buying. Story was good and sexy but that cliff hanger aspect killed it for me.
It it was a very interesting book And easy to understand and read.
Its all one book, not a series but it’s cute.
This was originally written as three novellas and is currently released in one volume. Grant Devlin is the hot, Australian, playboy head of Devlin Industries. Lacey works at his company in the PR department. Since she is the only employee who doesn’t sugarcoat anything in front of Grant, he decides that their becoming engaged will rehab their image. This is an earlier book of Lila Monroe, and it has her signature zaniness. What didn’t work for me in this book was Grant. He was very two dimensional in parts one and two. You didn’t get a feeling for his personality, and why (other than the stereotypical hotness and wealth), Lacey would be so smitten.
It was okay. It felt like we were suppose to love them together but there was very little reason.
