Felicity was the only person in the world who knew her daughter, Hope, is heir to the Stolvenia throne. Until a newspaper leaks the story and now everyone knows—including Hope’s father, King Raphael. The media storm surrounding what’s being called the century’s most romantic story is far greater than either could have anticipated. On the plus side, with the public crazy about their “love” story, … “love” story, support for a referendum to dissolve the monarchy is waning. And when Raphael shows up at her door with a proposal, it doesn’t take much convincing for Felicity to agree to a marriage in name only—at least until the votes are counted and the referendum fails. She needs to take care of her daughter and her wheelchair-bound sister who requires expensive medical care. Surely, becoming a queen and molding herself into a proper royal won’t be that much of a sacrifice to make to give her family comfort and security. And if she still loves Raphael? Well, that was another thing she could deal with.
Raphael has never stopped thinking about Felicity and wondering why she’d left him. She was the only woman he’d ever loved and for the past three years, he’d been trying to forget her. Now, not only had he found her, he’d also found out he was a father—something his devious late mother had tried to ensure he would never know. All that time, he’d thought Felicity cold and heartless, but now with her acting her part as the future queen, he’s seeing the future he’d once dreamed of for them—and the chance to bond with his daughter, to boot. The only trouble is…he has no idea how to be a husband. Or a father. Or anything other than a king. He’s lived for his people for so long—is it too late to learn how to live for himself, and open his heart to true love?

When King Rafael was advised that he had a daughter and that his own Queen Mother had a hand in her mother fleeing back to the United States with her he didn’t even stop but immediately told the head of his security agency to make ready the plane.
Felicity had flown back to the United States to care for her twin sister who had suffered severe injuries in an automobile accident that had left them as orphans at the age of 9. She had been convinced by the Queen that Rafael was aware of everything and agreed with all the plans.
King Rafael was convinced he was over Felicity but found he still had feelings that he had to try hard to control since he was in close proximity to her on a daily basis since he had taken the three of them back to Stolvenia to live since there was no choice when it came to protecting Hope, his heir to the throne.
The chemistry between Rafael and Felicity was as strong as ever and situations happened that left them alone and cupid took over.
King Rafael had made an agreement with Felicity to become married but in the public eye only with no strings attached but then he realized she was essentially like a bird held in a cage so he offered her an out if she wanted to take it.
This book is a love story to enjoyed by any and all romance readers so grab a copy, a glass of wine and enjoy this wonderful love story.
There’s always that one member of the family that has to be a little wayward and brings the most drama and a baby in the mix. And I love it. Great series!
The author did an awesome job with developing strong characters that are engaging and full of chemistry making for a steamy storyline that managed to keep my interest.

Felicity is living a quiet life in Iowa with her 2 year old daughter Hope and her twin sister Joy when word gets out that KIng Rafael of Stolvenis is Hope’s father. When Rafael finds out he goes to rescue them from the mob of reports camping outside their apartment. Rafael didn’t know about his daughter. It seams his mother paid Felicity to leave Stolvenis and return to the States. Someone is using the information about Hope to take down the monarchy. They agree to a fake marriage. With the help of her sister in law Amy they are able to get the people of Stolvenis to trust in the Royal Family again. I enjoyed this book. HEA
This trilogy has been fantastic from beginning to end, but I believe this is my favorite by far. Not only does it show their love and how hard they fought for their relationship, it also shows how dedicated to their country they are, and how hard it is to be in those roles. I lived every second of their story and cannot wait for more from this author.

This story is quite good and overall the characters are as well. I enjoyed reading about the struggles the leading lady goes through i.e. her issues regarding the monarchy and her role in it. But you will have to read about that for yourself and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Three years ago when Felicity and (King) Rafael had been together, his mother told Felicity he no longer wanted her and to return home. Now they are reunited with some changes and he wants her for his Queen. Interesting story and memorable characters. Good read!

Years ago, Felicity and Raphael had a relationship that resulted in a pregnancy. When Raphael’s mother learned Felicity was pregnant, she forced Felicity to leave and threatened her to never contact Raphael and to never let anyone know her child was of royal blood. King Raphael has spent the last three years trying to forget Felicity and his love for her and is shocked when a newspaper breaks the news that he has a daughter with Felicity. Felicity has struggled to provide for her daughter and her sister and isn’t surprised when Raphael shows up on her doorstep. Raphael convinces Felicity to become his wife, and he promises to take care of her, their daughter, and her sister. Can Felicity become the queen Raphael and his people need? Can Raphael be the husband and father that Felicity and their daughter need him to be? Will Felicity lose who she is while trying to be the proper royal? Will Felicity and Raphael admit their feelings to each other and find their happily ever after? I really enjoyed The Billionaire King’s Heir by Leslie North. The Billionaire King’s Heir is an entertaining read with great characters. I would definitely recommend getting The Billionaire King’s Heir and the other two books in the European Billionaire Beaus series.

Another entertaining book by Leslie North who once again brings strong characters in Felicity and King Raphael , gives them a strong connection and a second chance romance. She brings drama and intrigue as well as a hot chemistry and romance. She brings the story to life with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes. I enjoyed watching them come together in the end and would recommend reading.

I enjoyed Felicity and Raphael’s story. The entertaining story line offers an attention keeping combination of heat, drama and emotional turmoil in a romance that I felt was quite plausible. Felicity, I really liked. She came across as realistic and relatable. Her struggle with her responsibilities and needing to take care of those she loved and her own wants and needs were an on-going battle and I think that is something almost all of us deal with. As for Raphael, he could be cold, distant and stoic. It was fun watching him realize that he had to evolve and change if he wanted to be more than just a King.
The book information is what made me stop and want to read this book. It sounded like it could be pretty good. While I liked it, I can’t really say that I felt like it met it’s full potential.
This story had an unusual take on King Raphael. I have read stories of formal royalty but he was beyond the word “rigid.” It was all rules and regulations to him and I found that a bit off putting. And of course, Felicity was the polar opposite of that. But look at how different their upbringings had to be.
Felicity is everyday American, someone who was a hard-worker, an out-going person who liked interacting with people and she was good at it. She is also just trying to survive while juggling responsibilities for her sister, Joy and daughter, Hope.
It was kind of hard to get into Raphael when he was so almost constipated with his worry over the Referendum. While it was important because it could mean the end of the Monarchy, it was really driving him too. What he failed to recognize as he tried to control everything is that Felicity was actually the breath of fresh air that they all needed.
There is plenty of emotional upheavals for both of the main characters. And I began to like Raphael more when I got to see just how divided his feelings are.
There is a H.E.A. for Raphael, Felicity, and Hope. While it didn’t feel like there were any major surprises it was a pleasant story.
