Kelly Bradley isn’t impulsive. Unless you count that time she walked into billionaire power player Jack Sutton’s office and proposed on a sticky note. He said yes, by the way. With that one word, he saved her from crippling student loan debt and his company from a takeover that would mean its end. What could go wrong?A lot, as it turns out. This is a standalone fake relationship … standalone fake relationship marriage-of-convenience with a twist of suspense in the Sutton Billionaires Series. A shorter version of this book was previously published in the Sutton Capital Series under the name Legal Ease.

This is the first book of the Billionaires series. I think it is Sutton Billionaires. This has 5 or 6 books in the series. I really liked all but Bk 4. I just couldn’t get into that one. Bk 5 was good. Bk 5 was about a returning vet with PTSD and an eccentric genius. Good story. The author has a good ear for conversation and they are very easy to read. They flow. Romance!
Excellent book for this author’s first time @ writing! Look forward to reading more of her novels!
Very good read, I’m enjoying others in the series right now. Can be read as a stand-alone.
Loved it. Ordered the next in the series. Although this book can stand alone. Really enjoyed reading it.
Loved this book! I love a strong heroine and Kelly was definitely that and Jack is just so thoughtful. Thoroughly enjoyed their story.
Great story. Read it in one sitting! I’m excited to read the other two.
I love romance novels but this was fresh and so fun! I’m definitely buying more from this author. Fun. FUN, FUN!
3 1/2 STARS
Very good!
Great read
CEO Jack Sullivan needs to be married to get his inheritance. No one said the marriage had to be anything other than a business arrangement. He has a few hours to find a woman willing to stick to the script and not fall in love. Kelly Bradley made it into the law school of her dreams. The tuition deadline is fast approaching, and she has no way to pay. Marring a billionaire might be a bit drastic, but spending one year on his arm will make all her problems go away. Neither expects the heat in their marriage of convenience. – Jack is wonderful. He is caring, unpretentious, and attentive. Kelly is sweet and likeable. I loved this book. It is well written, and I couldn’t put it down. I wasn’t ready for it to end.
Love wasn’t in their plan.
To keep his company, Jack Stutton needs a wife in less than a week. Accepted into Yale law school, but Kelly Bradley doesn’t have the needed tuition. Two strangers, two different problems, all with one solution – The Billionaire Deal.
This engrossing read by Lori Ryan has likable characters who are strong and engaging. The chemistry between Jack and Kelly is both steamy and tender. Also, the well woven plot is nicely balanced between description, thoughts and dialogue. It also has a bit of suspense as well as a few heart-pounding moments that lead right into a happy ending.
Content 411: In addition to vulgar expletives, there are several detailed sexually intimate scenes.
Thank you Lori Ryan for “The Billionaire Deal.” The unusual twist on a marriage-of-convenience was beautiful. An alpha man, a beautiful and kind heroine, love, angst, suspense, romance (steamy) and HEA. Sigh!!!
Several great twists. I really enjoyed this read. Found myself encouraging the characters, which is a great sign for me. Takes the arranged marriage in several good directions. I might read this one again next year.
Good love story with a twist
Great marriage of convenience story. Jack and Kelly both need something. Jack needs a wife to fulfill his mother’s will. Kelley needs a way to pay for law school. Along the way they discover what they really need is each other. Wonderful story with a lot of romance and a bit of suspense. Highly recommended.
This is a republished book with some extra content. The original version was a favorite of mine so I was excited to read this. I love Jack’s character. Going in, I honestly expected him to be a bit of a jerk (sorry!), but he was completely open and honest in his relationship with Kelly, and actually put the effort into making a real relationship. Kelly was desperate to afford law school and Jack’s predicament came at just the right moment. They are the cutest couple and I could feel their chemistry. The plot took a bit of a suspenseful twist which was perfect for me. I am looking forward to reading more if this updated series!
Note: This is an updated and extended version of Legal Ease.
Jack Sutton has to find a wife before he turns 30. In his mother’s will he had to be married or his father’s company went to his Aunt and her son. Jack had worked too hard to let his aunt win this. Kelly Bradley needed money for school and after overhearing about Jack’s problem she has a solution! Jack and Kelly get married and have to pretend this was a love match. While Jack’s Aunt tries everything she can to prove it was false, Jack and Kelly find out that maybe it could be the real thing.
I loved this series the first time I read it and this new updated version is just as good as I remembered. This author throws in humor, strength, and solid, strong friendships and of course a beautiful falling in love story for the hero and heroine. Jack and Kelly’s characters are so well balanced. She doesn’t try to prove she as strong as the man and Jack is alpha enough to make the reader’s heart race. I love this couple and their story. There is also a bit of nail biting as there are some really bad guys who show up to cause trouble. This is a book I will read over and over and totally recommend it.
I loved this book so much. Kelly is an awesome character, she is so confident and compassionate. I loved how Jack seemed to just go with the flow. So many awesome things going on, I loved everything about this book.
Another great read by Lori Ryan who once again brings strong , well developed characters in Jack and Kelly and weaves a fake relationship turned to love. She does a great job building the story and pulled me in with all the emotions flowing throughout. I enjoyed watching the two come together in this realistic romance.
