Covered in tattoos, sarcasm, and muscles, Arthur McClellan is the best thing to come out of the kitchen since sliced bread. A billionaire from birth, his trust fund hasn’t stopped his drive to achieve his dreams of celebrity chef status. However, a dying wish from his mother has caused him to pivot his aspirations. Instead of being the “bad boy,” he now wants to join the ranks of the happy chefs … chefs of the Taste Network. It’s taken a lot of convincing, but he’s finally landed a show: a wedding special filming in the Bahamas. But the network doesn’t trust him alone. They want a romantic interest: a perfect, bubbly wedding planner to soften his edges. Arthur’s not mad when they pick a wedding planner he’d had a single, very passionate night with. In fact, she just might be the cherry on top of his food show cake.
Cassandra Kelly has been winning the wedding planner game for years, and she wants more: national coverage for her creative celebrations. So when the Taste Network offers her the position of wedding planner on their new pilot, Cassandra jumps at the chance. The only catch? She’s got to be the “girlfriend” of famous bad boy Arthur McClellan— a position not unappealing to her after a celebratory night of passion that left her with a continuous craving for the chef… and an unplanned bun in the oven.
Now, they’ve got to fake their relationship on screen while wading through their real relationship off. They both agree the baby should be kept secret until they’re ready to spill the beans. But when a careless conversation reveals all to the producer, who thinks a secret baby would make for a great reality TV series, they have to decide how real they’re willing to get and how much their romance can weather for their careers. For two people who want to live in the public eye, they must decide how much of their passion they want to keep private.

I was granted, via B00|{$P®0UT, an ARC of Leslie North’s “The Billionaire Chef’s Baby (McClellan Billionaires Book 2).” I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
Leslie North has quickly become one of my favorite authors and unfortunately I found this book difficult to get into. I suspect it is because a large portion of the story revolves around a reality show, and I really do not like reality shows. I would like to have gotten to know more about how Arthur and Cassandra developed their relationship. Fortunately Ms North writes so well that I could enjoy the circuitous journey to a happy ending that Arthur made with Cassandra even while I muttered to myself about the constraints placed on the story by the artificiality of the reality show.

What a great story of how we struggle to find the real you in a world of judgement.
Arthur, know as a bad boy, put on the act to hide who is really is. Cassandra seems strong and needs to be in control, when really she just wants someone else to take the burden.
Arthur and Cassandra chemistry ignites as the clash during the filming of a reality show. Their passion for each other and what the want is fiery and determined.
This story will have you so engrossed with each turn of the page.

Fake relationship between a bad boy chef and a wedding planner with a reality show backdrop. Unique story with lots of drama involved will keep you reading to the end.
How do you have a relationship and grow a baby when the world is watching? Arthur, chef extraordinaire wants to have his own show. Cassandra, wedding planner organizer on steroids wants to have her own show. The Taste Network likes them both and decides to pair them up as a romantic interest to the wedding planner show. But they are not only not strangers, they are expecting parents, who met during an event, then had a one night stand. So, as they are getting to know each other during the show, they are getting to know each other. They both have public personnas that are totally opposite from their real personalities. Confusion, much? This relationship is a case of one misunderstanding, misconstruing, misperception after another. It’s like they need a roadmap to find their way to normal. Nice story. Totally funny. Cassie and Arthur are nice people that got stuck in ruts and dug them so deeply, they have to struggle to get out. Can they make it out? Can they get acquainted with their real selves? Will the show be a success? Nice likeable characters. The producer is a hoot! Nicely done. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
Arthur and Cassandra started out with specific expectations for where their futures were going to go only to find it was to find each other.

North serves up the right ingredients for a deliciously, spicy treat. With a bad boy trying to make good and a good girl tempted to be bad, The Billionaire Chef’s Baby is sure to set the heart on fire.
An exciting book two in the McClellan Billionaires series! It is a fast pace engaging page-turner; well written, witty, and funny with a well-developed, interesting, and consistent storyline. Likeable characters; they are stubborn and broken with undeniable chemistry between them. An extremely good read!

I have found this book was very good. The plot was about two people looking for success, but they ended up having a fake relationship and a happy ending. The characters were alright. They struggle during the story, but they overcome their differences. This is the second book of the McClellan, and I’m kind of curious of his relation to Connor from the first book. I guest I have to read the next book. Overall, it a good reading. I’ll recommend it.

Bad Boy Chef and the Beautiful Wedding Planner…………..can they cook something up together?
Okay I am going to say this Loud and Proud…………….I hate “reality” TV shows. I don’t watch them, I could not tell you who is on them, I could not tell you what they do or anything else. When they started some of them I would see when I was flipping channels and just shake my head at all the made up and OTT drama about the stupidest things, especially when you think about all the real drama and turmoil all over the world that real people experience and live on a daily basis. Now with that said on to this review.
The Billionaire Chef’s Baby is the second book in the McClellan brothers series. This time it is Arthur, a great chef with a bad boy reputation, who wants to become famous and sees his way of doing that as having a reality TV series. There is also Cassandra who is a fantastic and sought after wedding planner. They had a one night celebration a bit ago and he left a little something to rise, a baby. But he does not know about the “bun in the oven”, sorry but I just had to use that at least once. Now they have been matched to pretend to be involved for the pilot of a new reality TV show that will star Arthur. Once he finds out about the bun he does want to be involved and they decide to keep things secret. But nothing can be kept secret on a reality show as the producers are always watching and listening. So fairly quickly they find out and then want to have the “secret baby” added to the story-line.
I liked the characters of Arthur and Cassandra but would have enjoyed them more if their “private” relationship had been explored more. For me the reality TV show took up too much of this story. But as usual Leslie North has authored a really well written book.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is a great story the will hold your attention and keep you laughing. The characters chemistry is wonderful I love the back and forth banter they do.
There is a great mix of drama and action with a weird written storyline.
Billionaire Arthur McClellan is known as the bad boy chef. Arthur has been driven to reach celebrity chef status, but his mother’s dying wish has Arthur wanting to clean up his image and join the ranks of chefs for the Taste Network. After a lot of convincing, Arthur lands a wedding special filming in the Bahamas, but the network wants to throw in a love interest for Arthur. Cassandra Kelly is one of the top wedding planners but wants the national coverage that the Taste Network can offer her. Cassandra jumps at the Taste Network’s offer to be the wedding planner for their pilot with the stipulation that she be the fake girlfriend for Arthur McClellan. Cassandra and Arthur spent one glorious night together after working a wedding that resulting in Cassandra being pregnant. How will Arthur react when he learns Cassandra is pregnant? Can Arthur and Cassandra fake a relationship on screen while trying to have a relationship off screen? What happens when their secret is revealed and the producers want to use it for reality tv? Can Arthur and Cassandra’s romance survive under the glare of national tv? Can Arthur prove to Cassandra that his feelings are real and there is more to him than his bad boy image? I really enjoyed The Billionaire Chef’s Baby by Leslie North. The chemistry between Arthur and Cassandra is smoking hot! The Billionaire Chef’s Baby is a great story with fun characters who will make you laugh out loud or scream in frustration. I would definitely recommend getting The Billionaire Chef’s Baby by Leslie North.

A wonderfully well written entertaining story. It includes drama, suspense, humor, twists and turns, romance, and hot, steamy, sizzling, chemistry. This fun enjoyable start kept me entertained as the characters had undeniable chemistry and witty banner while we got to see them grow during their pretend relationship as it grows real. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
Second book in this latest series and a great fun read as all Leslie’s books are
Arthur McClellan may be a billionaire by his birth right but he is determined to make something of his own that is why he is now a Michelin-starred chef with the bad boy persona and tattoos to go with it but a promise to his dying mother has made him decide he doesn’t want to be the bad boy anymore and the perfect answer is a TV show. The network doesn’t trust him though so they have put him with a wedding planner to smooth his rough edges what they don;’t know is that he and Cassandra Kelly at a reception he recently catered and their one night stand has had consequences. How will he feel when he finds out he is going to be a father Can these two form a relationship that works and will they get a HEA you need to read to see
getting pregnant after a one-nigt position …. it happens, so did Cassandra after a night with bad-boy Arthur. She meets him again and must work together and together they must find out where they are. It is clear that their sexual attraction is still there. Leslie North gave me another nice reading on the couch and sent me to bed with a good feeling thanks to a happy ending
