Covered in tattoos, sarcasm, and muscles, Arthur McClellan is the best thing to come out of the kitchen since sliced bread. A billionaire from birth, his trust fund hasn’t stopped his drive to achieve his dreams of celebrity chef status. However, a dying wish from his mother has caused him to pivot his aspirations. Instead of being the “bad boy,” he now wants to join the ranks of the happy chefs … chefs of the Taste Network. It’s taken a lot of convincing, but he’s finally landed a show: a wedding special filming in the Bahamas. But the network doesn’t trust him alone. They want a romantic interest: a perfect, bubbly wedding planner to soften his edges. Arthur’s not mad when they pick a wedding planner he’d had a single, very passionate night with. In fact, she just might be the cherry on top of his food show cake.
Cassandra Kelly has been winning the wedding planner game for years, and she wants more: national coverage for her creative celebrations. So when the Taste Network offers her the position of wedding planner on their new pilot, Cassandra jumps at the chance. The only catch? She’s got to be the “girlfriend” of famous bad boy Arthur McClellan— a position not unappealing to her after a celebratory night of passion that left her with a continuous craving for the chef… and an unplanned bun in the oven.
Now, they’ve got to fake their relationship on screen while wading through their real relationship off. They both agree the baby should be kept secret until they’re ready to spill the beans. But when a careless conversation reveals all to the producer, who thinks a secret baby would make for a great reality TV series, they have to decide how real they’re willing to get and how much their romance can weather for their careers. For two people who want to live in the public eye, they must decide how much of their passion they want to keep private.

The second in the McClellan Billionaire series. With Arthur as the chef at the wedding and Cassandra as the wedding planner they butt heads. Things really heat up in the kitchen. With both of them competing to get their own show on the network, they soon learn they would rather have each other than be against each other.

Arthur caters a wedding that Cassandra planned, and they hooked up afterward. Six weeks later, she gets word that she’s shooting a pilot for a new show on the Taste Network, and her partner and fake love interest will be Arthur. Oh yeah… she also finds out that she’s pregnant. Arthur is excited – she’s not. About them being partnered on the show. He keeps putting his foot in his mouth about the pregnancy. So they head to the islands to film, and the show needs drama. I really like the premise of the story. My only issue is that I had trouble keeping track of when they were using a fake personality, and when they were being real, and the director was a pain in the butt. But I did get the happy ending that always comes from this author.

Sensitive and Romantic.
You can always count on author Leslie North to write not only a romantic story but a sensitive one as well. The Billionaire Chef’s Baby McClellan Billionaires Book 2, does an excellent job at exploring a man’s (in this case Arthur, the Chef) perception of himself when he finally falls in love. The same goes for Cassandra, the woman he gets pregnant. She has written in her vision journal from early on her ideal man which was not Arthur but he is growing on her.
On the island they explore their feelings and if they want to be together for each other and the baby. Here’s a clue…there’s an HEA!
This is a story where the supporting characters feel like they are in black and white while Arthur and Cassandra are in living color.
I’m recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. Peace.

The Billionaire Chef’s Baby is the second in the McClellan billionaire series. We meet Arthur McClellan playboy chef who is ready for an image change and the perfect opportunity arises as he works at getting a show on the Taste Network. Enter his complete nemesis Wedding Event planner Cassandra. Throw together a temperamental chef and a Wedding Event planner who has everything planned out, color coded and organized to the point of being obsessive and you have a great story. Oh did I mention that these opposites are wildly attracted to each other. They end up on the same reality show Wedding Planner and Chef working on planning a wedding and too boost viewership they are going to “pretend” that they are in a relationship. They had one night together and oops guess who is pregnant and trying to hie it for now ! When they begin the reality show Cassandra begins to see a different Arthur and begins to wonder what the real Arthur is like. Great book!
Arthur and Cassandra are interesting characters in that their personalities may or may not be their true selves. The back and forth of who they truly are did leave me a bit nauseous. I like the story and I found the whole reality show persona idea intriguing and wanted to know how the concept of a Michelin-starred chef and a wedding planner would work. What I didn’t care for was the fact that the story does not give us a look into the everyday alone times between these two. They are sharing a room but, we don’t really get to peak into their casual conversations and how they manage an on screen arrangement. And then, their hot and cold reactions between the two of them just gets confusing. At points I’m not certain if Cassandra overacts or if Arthur is being overly sensative. Overall, this is a good story and I genuinely like the main characters.

This is the second book in the McClellan Billionaires series and we meet sexy bad boy chef Arthur McClellan and sweet wedding planner, Cassandra. This pair have plenty chemistry and a deep desire to further their respective careers, when they are paired up to do a new reality t.v. show, they learn that what is happen in their growing family is real and not reality. I loved the bad boy that Arthur is, he made me laugh but I loved who he is as well. Wonderful story…..

Oh I loved this so much! Arthur and Cassandra were so different but so perfect for each other. It wasn’t what they were looking for but exactly what they needed. Of course, the ending was a little cheesy but it left me smiling.

This is a sweet, fun and steamy read. When they say opposites attract, they were right in this case.
