This dynamic duo has done it again!! Another Billionaire series from these two…ummm yes please! I couldn’t wait to dive into this one. I found myself laughing out loud in more places than not and believe me when I say I had lots of people looking at me like I had grown two heads. These two never disappoint. I immediately fell in love with Greer. And well Trent, yeah Trent is absolutely swoon worthy. I was head over heels with not just the two main characters but their friends as well. I can’t wait to see who is next in this series!! Definitely going to be another fantastic series. I absolutely recommend!
Review by Tabitha
I have to say I loved all the characters in this book…except Greer, I’m sorry but I couldn’t connect with her in the slightest. She seemed in my opinion to be immature, rude and a little self-absorbed; I get that she was supposed to be sassy and eccentric, but she just came off as b*tchy and acted like everyone was either out to get her or completely wrong while she was right. For example, the first time Greer and Trent meet at the gym, she went crazy on him and instantly hated him when he asked her a simple question and made a truthful observation (and no matter what Greer says he wasn’t an a**shole).
For as much as I didn’t like Greer, I absolutely loved Trent, he was totally swoon-worthy and I just loved how after getting past Greer’s personality (which took a lot), he basically tried everything he could think of to date Greer who was against a relationship (Chapter 30 was my favorite chapter – “secret dating”). Trent’s friends, Quincey and Cap, and Greer’s bestie, Emory, were also great parts of the story especially the sneakiness they pulled off.
Also the description of the relationship between Trent and his father was also a bit odd. It starts off on how much they love each other and how they taught each other to be better, than a few passages later Trent talks about his father like he’s a tyrant and an overbearing man who doesn’t trust his son’s business mentality.
All in all in was a good read, I did dislike Greer for like 60% of the book, but then she started to win me over, but unfortunately, she went back to her teenage behavior and ruined any chance of me liking her. Trent was the MVP of this book and he really made the book enjoyable.
Will Greer’s brother get a book, since according to Greer, his wife is evil?
Who is next in line to fall: Cap?
I am really good I pushed through on this one! The beginning was a bit cumbersome for me and I wasn’t sure I understood all the fantastic reviews, but I was invested so I kept going. I’m really glad I did!
There’s something about a hate-to-love story. These two characters are put together in a work situation and end up neighbors while working on a hotel in NOLA. They are in the dark about one aspect of who the other person is, and it was the opposite of hate in that moment.
Greer and Trent are a perfect match of opposites, and it’s super fun to watch them bicker and the tension build between them. You just can’t help knowing that the explosion is going to be worth all the drama!
Max Monroe is quickly becoming one I must read. Recommend!
The Billionaire Boss Next Door by Max Monroe is a standalone romantic comedy that is set in the same world as this author’s Billionaire bad Boys series. A straight up strangers to enemies to co-workers to neighbors to lovers (It sounds more complicated than it really is), this story had me laughing out loud in places and the tension between Greer and Trent is palpable. Even while they are busy being hateful they are clearly attracted and in the worst case of denial – ever. Well-written and well-paced, I enjoyed this a lot, hope you do too!
Max Monroe is back with brand new hilarious series about insanely hot billionaires and sassy independent heroines. The Billionaire Boss Next Door is a hilarious romantic comedy which will make you laugh, snort, swoon and leave satisfied, ready for more.
Greer is a talented interior designer with no-filter mouth and in desperate need to save hew business from drowning. She needs a new contract and when a huge opportunity came, she went for broke. But before that, she had a “tiny” encounter with a hot stranger, which ended really bad. She didn’t know her new enemy is going to be her future boss and neighbor.
Trent is an intelligent, sexy heir to the hotel empire driven with a need to prove his worth. He loves his parents but his father lack of trust makes him grumpy. And he is ready to shine. But when he meets a new interior designer hired to the project he oversees the law is involved.
The hatred and sexual tension between then fogged my glasses. I loved their battles, awkward situations and interactions with friends. And when they slowly started seeing each other’s in a new light the sparks flew and my heart was warming. The opposites attract! Greer and Trent are the best examples.
I really enjoyed The Billionaire Boss Next Door. I have to admit I was expecting a little funnier story. The beginning with Thatch made me rub my hands from glee but you can’t have everything. And I understand Greer no-filter mouth but sometimes she should think first then act but she is forgiven (as if I was describing myself).
Overall I am ready for the next stories because the last chapter got me so interested! Cap is my guy!
5 star review The Billionaire Boss Next Door by Max Monroe
What a cracking way to start to Mother’s Day. I laughed so much that I nearly cried.
Max Monroe have done it again. I cannot express in words just how amazing this writing duo is. This book is one of my all time favourites. There is absolutely nothing that I don’t love about Trent Turner and Greer Hudson.
This was a laugh out loud hilarious read that had me receiving many funny looks as I read this on the train to work today. It was non stop fun and all I can say is please write more stories with these amazing characters
When Greer puts her foot in her mouth, the very last things she expects is for the man who is driving her crazy to turn out to be her next door neighbour and her new boss.
Trent and Greer clash, but that only increases the intensity of the chemistry between the two of them. Whilst Trent is heading up the development of the Vanderturn New Orleans Hotel, Greer is doing the designing. Sparks are going to fly between Trent and Greer and only time will tell if it will launch into more.
Another fabulous story from Max Monroe.
Max Monroe has a new romcom ready for you—and let me suggest that if you follow it right after an emotional read because it’ll take you right out of that book hangover with laughs. Between the enemies to lovers, snide banter and funny inner monologues you’ll be smiling and laughing your worries away. And bonus, Greer and Trent aren’t the only funny ones—the cast of friends is equally funny and fun. Not only do the Max Monroe bring the funny, they bring the swoon. When Greer and Trent move from enemies and coworkers and neighbors to friends and the more, the swoon factor comes into play and it’s so sweet and, well, swoony.
If you know Max Monroe, you know they can deliver on a solid romcom and The Billionaire Boss Next Door will definitely leave you with a smile on your face and all warm and fuzzy in your heart. A fun summer read.

This book had me laughing so much. Be prepared to laugh at any moment even all up until the end. I loved all the characters in this book. They’re engaging and you get very invested in their stories. I loved Trent and Greer. They had so much chemistry . One of my favorite parts of the book is their banter. Some very funny moments. This is a enemies to lovers story. These two rub each other the wrong way, but soon those sparks won’t be denied. This a make you feel good laugh out loud book that I highly recommend. It’s one that’s hard to out down because you just want to gobble it right up.
I am always giddy when I see that this writing duo has another story to share with us. We are once again treated to a funny, sexy, laugh out loud tale. Trent and Greer have a chance meeting but neither one realizes it….. they are at a masquerade ball. Now Greer is hired as a designer of an up an coming remodel on a hotel chain and Trent the hardworking son of the owner is out to prove himself to dear old dad . Each of them are trying to make a good impression but when you have your foot in your mouth it isn’t going so well..lol. It soon becomes evident that external forces are working to bring them together a.k.a meddling friends . Trent and Greer have an awesome witty banter that you can’t help but love . They are cute, quirky, funny and oh so comical together ! Loved them and their fabulous cast of friends !!

This book was freaking hilarious. As soon as I thought the conversation would be 100% serious there was a snarky remark either from Greer, Emory, Trent, or Cap. It was downright comforting and engaging. The back and forth and hidden match making had me text my friend to get from from KU. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
4 Stars
The Billionaire Boss Next Door is a standalone, contemporary romance. It’s a light hearted, fun read that is low in angst and drama. Greer and Trent’s story is of a pair of opposites who bring out the best in each other, that is overall an engaging and entertaining read, .
Greer is sassy, strong, bold, quirky and fun. I loved her outspoken and sarcastic personality.
Trent is sexy, sweet and brooding. Whilst at times he can be a bit of a jerk he is also quite charming and charismatic.
The side characters are endearing and fun and I look forward to reading Cap’s story.
Whilst not my favorite title of Max Monroe, this story is sure to leave you with a smile upon your face.

This is the Max Monroe fun that I love!! The Billionaire Boss Next Door is so much fun and super entertaining. I absolutely love Greer’s sass and her attitude. She spouts off whatever is on her mind and she is hilarious. Trent is a fun guy despite his early on attitude. I love though seeing him develop through out the book and especially how he is with Greer. They have such fun interactions and I loved their banter. We got introduced to a new Billionaire gang and I loved it. I was definitely invested in this group so fast!
I enjoyed the story and I wished it had a little more heat and moved a little quicker. The storyline was really good though and I enjoyed some twists towards the end. I am looking forward to more Billionaires!!!
I am still giggling after finishing Max Monroe’s latest delight. The Billionaire Boss Next Door is everything I love about this duo’s writing. Humor. Anticipation. Heat. Angst. Heart. And leading characters who love to hate each other.
I liked Greer from the second I met her. She was feisty and driven and she pulled no punches. She spoke her mind, even when it got her into trouble. And she surely didn’t hold back with her infuriatingly handsome new boss, Trent. Oh my that Trent! He is defiantly the strong, not so silent type. Being the son, and heir to a billion dollar empire, he has a lot to prove to his disapproving old man.
It was one thing after another as Trent tried to keep his project on track and Greer tried to bring him down a few notches. To something like approachable. She had a few tricks up her sleeve that worked like a charm. He may have been the boss but it was Greer who really ran the show with her clever ideas and compassion. And it didn’t take him long to see that there was more to the designer than her outer beauty. Trent had a few ideas of his own on how to get Greer to see him as more than her boss too. Talk about swoon city! That man, when he wants to, knows how to lay it on thick.
At times, The Billionaire Boss Next Door had me laughing so hard that no sound was coming out. And in other moments, I was so frustrated that Trent and Greer wouldn’t get out of their own way to see what was right in front of them. With a deadline crashing down on them, pressure from his dad, the entire city of New Orleans watching like a hawk and few meddling friends it was a recipe for hilarity and disaster. I can’t wait to see what Max Monroe has in store for this group of friend next, especially Cap!
I absolutely loved The Billionaire Boss Next Door by Max Monroe. It was such a fun and light read that left me smiling and happy. Greer and Trent can’t stand each other from their first meeting and then find themselves working together. They had great banter and a whole lot of chemistry right from the start!
Greer is an interior designer working to put her business on the map. She was strong, smart and outspoken. Trent is the boss of the new hotel Greer is working on, for months. They had some great back and forth repartee and when he becomes her neighbors, all bets are off. I loved not only the main characters, but all the secondary ones as well and am looking forward to reading more of this world. Another great read from this writing duo.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
This is my first book by Max Monroe so I went into this not really sure what to expect. This book had me laughing out loud more than once. It’s light hearted and fun, the banter between the main characters had me in absolute stitches laughing.
The push and pull between these characters is great and don’t even get me started on the chemistry. Even when these two are hating each other, the underlying chemistry is always there and I loved it. Greer, bless her, she’s not one to think before her mouth opens and she had me cringing more than once. She didn’t win me over straightaway but the more I read the more I liked her and her sassy attitude.
I really enjoyed this book. Great characters, loads of chemistry and banter and a story that had me hooked. I can’t wait to read more from these authors in the very near future. If you’re looking for a hilarious rom com this is definitely one to read.
4.5 Stars – funny, sexy, fun!
“She’s everything a man should be fighting to keep. Except that she’s quite possibly the most maddening, rudely forthright, boldly sarcastic person I’ve ever met.”
Trent Turner is heir to a property and hotel empire, but his father is reluctant to relinquish the reins into his hands until he has truly proven himself. When the spitfire from the gym turns out to be the interior designer for his biggest project yet, he realises he’s got his work cut out for him.
Greer Hudson’s livelihood is on the line and she’s making a last-ditch attempt at keeping her life afloat by putting herself forward for a lucrative contract that would be a feather in her cap. Unfortunately, she’s gets off on totally the wrong foot with her boss when she unknowingly expresses her honest opinions. However, she’s determined to get on with her job to the best of her abilities, even in the face of her boss’ boorish, domineering managerial style. Although, things start to heat up when she finds herself living next door to him, and when all that hate tension turns into something friendlier and very hot!
“A week ago, we were enemies. And now, we’re this. We’re speeding past friendship in a rocket designed to break the sound barrier, and it’s all I can do to keep my footing.”
This was a fun, romcom read. Trent and Greer get off to a completely negative start – although I must say that the level of their animosity possibly wasn’t quite merited? Greer took complete umbrage at Trent’s (what I thought of as teasing) remarks. Anyway, what unfolds is amusing – especially Greer’s idea on how to pass on advice. LOL. Greer is a sarcastic, honest and innovative. Trent is stiff, driven and oblivious. However, I loved seeing the change in him as the story progressed. The two of them were really sexy together and I loved that Trent just couldn’t keep away from her. He was actually quite adorable with her and determined that what they had could last forever.
What a fabulously hilarious romance! I was smiling the whole time I read this book and I had a hard time putting it down. If you want a romance that will have you chuckling and smiling and rooting for two people to get together then this book is one you definitely need to read.
Trent and Greer did not get off on a good note when they met the first time. They basically hated each other while finding the other attractive. I loved the animosity between these two, it brought out Greer’s sarcasm and she is pretty darn hilarious. After being unknowingly set up by their friends, Trent and Greer find themselves neighbors. So not only do these two people who don’t like each other work together they now live next door to each other. Slowly they become friends and they start to actually enjoy being with each other. But since Greer really needs this job to work out she wants to just stay friends even though she is fighting her attraction to Trent. Trent tries to find ways to be with her without dating her and of course he is trying to deny his attraction to her. Of course all this build up of attraction and chemistry finally clashes and they are unable to deny it anymore. They are just a great couple and you really root for them. Plus their banter is great and just keeps a smile on your face as you read.
I really enjoyed Trent’s friends, Quincy and Cap. Oh Cap… Greer’s friend, Emory, is also with Quincy and she is the opposite of Greer but they help to balance each other. This is a great new series and I can’t wait for more! Cap….

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
I’m always keen to jump into another Max Monroe book, and I was interested to see what this would be like, being another Billionaire themed book. It took a little to warm up for me, around the 20% mark is when I really started to think things were picking up, and was finding myself invested in the story.
I liked both main characters reasonably well, and I liked both Quincy and Cap, but I’m still unsure how I feel about Emory. This one wasn’t as much humour as usual for a Max Monroe book, but we still did get plenty of funny moments and weird quirky remarks and traits from some of the characters.
Once I got into it properly, this was quite an easy read, and the ending was perfect, plus left it open for the series to continue. I look forward to seeing which of the secondary characters comes next.
Greer is a breath of fresh air with her quirky, sarcastic and usually untimely comments. Being raised by a grandfather and brother, she is definitely unique in her approach to life and what she thinks and says. As she finds herself on the verge of losing her company that she has worked hard to build, Hudson Designs, she needs to impress a billionaire hotel owner to sign her for their latest project. She never expects that she will be working with Trent Jr, the man who taunted her at the gym so she let her inner snark fly. Having started out on the wrong foot with him, will she find a way to a positive working relationship? Trent has been working for years to show his father is capable of taking over his hotel business but it never seems that he measures up. The latest project in New Orleans feels like his last chance to show what he can do. When he meets the designer, he is shocked that it’s the woman that doesn’t like their flagship hotel. But at the same time, he is drawn to her slightly crazy comments not to mention the beauty she carries without knowing it. These two took me on a fun and exciting ride as they navigated wanting to do their best work while fighting an intense attraction. Is love possible? I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
This is the first book I’ve read from Max Monroe and I really enjoyed.
This book has everything you need to escape from your reality for few hours and get rest.
The characters make me laugh and smile the whole time when I was reading.
If you like to read office romance with enemies to lovers trope, this book is perfect for you.
