#3 What is your biggest takeaway from the story?
Ruby Rockford and I are meant to be.
I just have to prove it to her.
For the entirety of my adult life, I’ve been content.
Content in my single lifestyle, content in my stressful-but-extremely-successful job as the main corporate counsel for almost every Fortune 500 company in North America, and content in my playful, spontaneous ways.
I had no idea it was possible for someone to change my mind.
The endless women and work are no longer enough, and just as Ruby Rockford told me–it’s about time I grow up.
It’s going to take a strategic attack from more than a couple brilliant minds to win her affection, but luckily, I know exactly where to find the right guys for the job…
The Billionaire Book Club.
It’s safe to say that I, Caplin Hawkins, the man most women would call The Ultimate Player, have finally met my match, and man oh man, has my end game changed.
I’m coming for you, Ruby.
And soon, you’ll be coming for me, too.

Where to start and what to say that will do this book justice !!!
Well let’s start by saying just when you think you have seen the best of this writing duo of Max Monroe they pull another billionaire out of the hat for you to fall in love with, they gave us just enough of Cap in previous books to tweet our interest then bam he gets his own book and you fall big time for playboy billionaire who has no interest in relationships or settling down…..,
Cap’s story captivated me from the first page to the very last line, I loved everything about this book from the laugh out loud moments to the swooning and sighing as Cap’s life was turned on it’s head by Ruby the woman who manages to show us the man behind the playboy image…..
It was perfect to catch up with friends from past books and yes I call them friends because that what this duo do, they give us characters who become part of our life’s , characters who make us smile and swoon and characters we would love to have a few beers with. The Billionaire Book Club is a hilarious laugh out or should I say snort out loud read with all the feels you would expect in a great read. This is a fun entertaining read that I really didn’t want to end, it’s romantic comedy at its best from the Queens of this genre and all I’m going to say this is a must read and I’m hoping there’s more to come down the line from these wonderful characters. In case you didn’t guess I loved it.
Excellent! This is one book club I want to join. From the start of this book you knew you were going to enjoy Cap and Ruby’s story. From there first meeting you had a smile on your face and a laugh ready to go. I wasn’t sure what kind of lady was going to bring down Caplin but as soon as he met Ruby you just knew she was up to the challenge. And she was perfect for him, even though she was attracted to him- I mean who wouldn’t be!?- she never fell under his spell, at least that he knew. Ruby gave back to Cap everything he gave out- humor, sarcasm and she was able to stand up to him. Something he didn’t realize that he found attractive. The whole time Cap was trying to get Ruby into bed he was unwittingly falling in love for her. And he did this all on his own- by setting up a book club to figure out how to get her into bed. And what a book club- the whole gang was there and oh to be a fly on the wall during these meetings! It was great seeing Kline, Wes, Thatch, Milo and Trent again. And who can forget Cap’s sister, Lena. Ruby’s parents were fabulous too, they added some great comedic moments, photo booth bathroom….
I absolutely loved this book in the Billionaire series and if you have read and loved the first two books then you will definitely love Cap’s story.
