Werewolf. Billionaire. Bastard. Husband? There’s no way that Taylor Stockdale is marrying her rude, arrogant, sexy boss. Unfortunately, billionaire CEO Cliff Bronson’s not the kind of man who takes no for an answer. He holds the fate of Taylor’s best friend in his hands – and he’s willing to bargain for Taylor’s hand in marriage. But he’s openly avoided her for the past year, so why is he … suddenly demanding a wedding – before the next full moon? And why did he call her his “mate”? And why does everyone in the little town of Hidden Hills act so weird once a month?
Cliff Bronson has made a terrible mistake. He’d been long-distance lusting after the curvy secretary for the past year – he likes her smart mouth as much as her full figure. The second he met Taylor in person, he knew that she was his, and he knew she was a werewolf – he smelled it on her. So, as was his right, he demanded that she be his mate. Unfortunately, it turns out that Taylor has no idea of what she is, and the first rule of being a werewolf is, nobody talks about being a werewolf. Now it’s a race against time to convince her that she’s his one and only – before his pack enacts their terrible and ancient law calling for the death of any human who learns of their existence.

Entertaining story. Didn’t see the ending coming but enjoyed it.
This book had sex, drama, and suspense, and I loved it. It definitely has an HEA (I’ve never read a book from this author that didn’t have one) but I was on edge to know what that ending would look like. I won’t lie, Taylor and her beastie Chantelle did get on my nerves at some points, but I still enjoyed the story overall. I definitely recommend this book.
Another good start to a new series.
This was a bit slow starting off for me but it soon really found it’s rhythm and I loved the story.
Taylor was a great heroine, feisty and smart, two of my favourite things. She did not just roll over for Cliff.
Cliff just didn’t know what hit him when Taylor gave him what for and never accepted that he was her better. He really had to step back and rethink his attitude.
So much intrigue, carrying on, and plain twists I wondered what would happen next.
Cannot wait to read both Austin and Grants stories. I hope Mandy is in there too.
This is my honest review of this book.
This is yet another GREAT series! I loved the development of the characters, it was so good I stayed up all night to see how it ended! Loved it!
It was pretty good but something about the world building seemed off.
Needs more consistent character building. Story was good but character personalities were all over the place.
Loved the book, great read.
This book is funny and sad! It is about a werewolf that doesn’t know she is a werewolf, can’t remember that she ever got bitten. In steps the alpha that is claiming her as his mate not knowing that she has no idea that werewolves actually exist. Add in a bad werewolf, some crazies, and a few kidnappings and that pretty much sums up this book. Oh, finding that around the full moon you can shave your legs every hour and the hair will grow back if you are werewolf was another interesting tidbit I learned in this book. Highly recommend!!!!
The only problem is sometimes characters are mixed up and you have to reread paragraphs to figure it out
A bit of romance, humor and adventure.
Send me this alpha male anytime, you will enjoy this shifter book.
To call part of a book unbelievable when the book is about monied werewolves is kind of a stretch, but parts are less believable than others. Instant billionaire mates, conspiracy upon conspiracy, and cute baby werewolves really piles it on.
Although there are some well written sections, overall, I will stick with Wolfman Jack.
O
Had a smooth read
Pros.
– Loved the heroine, her best friend (everyone needs a gutsy & sassy friend like her), and, of course, the amazing sexy hero.
-Character development. Very well-done.
-Relationship development between Taylor and Cliff. Tastefully sexy and steamy!
-No cliffhangers!
-Happy ending. =D
Cons:
-The werewolf world they live in is NOT what I expected…or want. EVERY family in this wereworld was very dysfunctional.
-It appears that every adult male except the hero, Cliff (what a hideous name for a character!) and his best friend is either a perpetrator of domestic abuse, is a narcissist, a bully, is a male slut, or is a flat character.
I much prefer the shapeshifter books that value the pack as a tight-knit family of families, where the males have the instinct to nurture, adore & protect their mates and all children…and the females are strong warriors themselves that equally love and protect against all threats. If you agree with me, I strongly recommend the Psy-Changling series by Nalini Singh – she made you desire to be a part of that world! Unlike this author.
Great read, entertaining and fun.
Not my favorite
need more like this one.
Funny and entertaining with a little bit of family drama. Austin and Savannah can’t help going after the same bounties and giving each other a hard time. They also can’t help the attraction they feel for each other. When the call goes out for the most dangerous mark either of them has ever gone after, they have to decide if they can work together or both risk not making it back alive.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
