All it took was one look into the delivery guy’s sinful brown eyes and I knew I’d regret never seeing him again. I tried tipping him a dollar and ended up getting a whole lot more than I bargained for.Imagine my surprise when he comes back. Every. Friday. Night. Then in an embarrassing twist of events the Big D’s identity is revealed. He wants a chance and he’s determined to get it. But with a … get it.
But with a crazy ex popping around every corner, money and power standing between us and an embarrassing ‘how we met’ story… what’s a girl supposed to do?

OMG I’m sure who I love more Agnes or Grant, but I think it’s Agnes. This book had me rolling and laughing out loud. I loved how strong Agnes was through everything that she was hit with she didn’t freak she just rolled with it. So many times she could say screw it and walk away but she didn’t. Grant and her were meant to be. I need more of this family please !!!!
Actual Rating 3.75
I have some mixed feelings about this book. I was mostly expecting it to be a romantic comedy. I know when I read Caged there were definitely some moments that gave me quite the giggle, but I didn’t really feel that way about The Big D.
I’d say this story was more corny than comedic. But it goes from “funny” to more dramatic and takes a crazy turn. I do think some parts were a bit dramatic and OTT. There is definitely a lot happening in Aggie and Grant’s relationship. I will say I really loved Grant and his big family. Rylan was my favorite of the siblings hands down and I really liked her friend Jill and grandma Mimi. There are definitely parts of this book I really enjoyed, but also parts that really nagged me.
I feel like this book had a bit of an identity crisis going on. Aggie is boning the delivery boy in her grandma’s backyard and doesn’t even know his name, but once she finds out who he really is the insecurities come out the woodworks. That’s one thing I hate in romances now. She questions everything about Grant and makes some pretty snap and wrong assumptions about him. Grant also has a lot of baggage that can potentially impact their relationship. This doesn’t happen once, but twice. It was a bit much. I also found myself getting annoyed with Aggie at times. I don’t how she literally screws a stranger every week in her grandmother’s bushes, but won’t say certain words and opts for nerdy alternatives instead. Again that’s me being particular.
I will say the heavy moments were handled pretty well and I even shed a tear at some point. Damn you Brittany Crowley for doing that to my heart. I’m still left feeling a little conflicted as to how I feel about this book. I enjoyed it, but there’s things that bothered me about it a little bit.
I enjoyed book, did get tired off all these clichéd jealous chick’s either ex girlfriends, nasty stewardess that should not have been on plane and then alloyed to treat aggie like that.. was enjoying it did laugh many times they much more with his ex so I didn’t feel the need for the stalker who killed his brother..that pissed me off totally u necessary. But still enjoyed
OMG! Brittany has done it again this book has blown me away. I’ve LMFAO with tears running down my cheeks, then they turned into real tears and I was crying like a bitch.
The Big D has loads of hot orgasmic sex, there’s happiness, sadness, sorrow, joy, lust, love, witty banter between the extremely lovable characters, a close knit family, a few hateful bitches that you might want to throttle, and racoons
Agnes Fletcher AKA Aggie has standing date once a week with her nan and that’s where she meets the delivery guy and he’s hot as sin. So she gives him a tip and he gives her more than the tip. But who the hell is he? She names him the Big D, for obvious reasons. The Big D hits the spot every time and I mean EVERY TIME. When his true identity is revealed will she be running for the hills? Or back to her nan’s flowerbed?
The Big D AKA Grant Fletcher never in his life did he think making a fast-food delivery would lead to him finding Aggie. She’s the most beautiful sexy, sassy woman he’s ever laid his eyes on, and unlike all the other women he’s had in his life all she wants him for is his Big D. When who he is comes to light will she still be interested? Or has he got too much baggage?
This story had me in stitches with Aggies personality and antics then we add Grant into the mix and this story goes to another level. I was so excited to get back to my kindle and just keep reading. More often then not there were tears in my eyes from the belly laughs and more. Where given comedy mixed with romance and even a bit of suspense. I’ve read other work by this author and thought it was great but this story, The Big D is by far my favorite work yet. To finish the last lines and say “what a story!” … yeah it’s a must read. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
Love it
Oh my gosh this book is amazballz loved everything about it except one thing and I wont give anything away but it broke my heart was very unexpected . The Big D would be my first story I read by Brittany Crowley and it’s not going to be my last because once I finished this my one click finger go twitchy and I ended up getting her other books so that’s gonna keep me busy for a while YAY plus I’m hoping to see more of these characters in the future . It sometimes takes me time to be connected to a heroine but I didn’t have that problem with Agnes fell for her right from the start she got me with her quirks and harry potter references lets just everything that comes out of her mouth had me dying of laughter total girl crush on . Big D is so yummy I may have ordered a pizza after reading this (wink) , he will turn you into a puddle of goo have you coming back for seconds ,thirds ,fourths and so on and so on . These two are perfect for each other with their witty banter that I at times couldn’t tell if it was foreplay or them just going back and forth, Aggie and Grant have off the charts chemistry in and out of the bedroom the sex scenes will have you panting . The secondary characters are really likable and I’m hoping to see more from them . This author did an amazing thing with this story I love when a author can make her readers feel emotions while reading Big D just made my day and left me with a smile on my face .
