The need to extract a bit of vengeance on an ex-boyfriend brings Daniel Hartman, Bailey Moore and Sebastian Ardalan together. Bailey wants to beat her ex in a pool game. Daniel and Sebastian offer to coach her. Pool is not the only thing they coach her in. Bailey has two hot men who adore her. How did she get so lucky? There are people and situations in their lives that seem bent on destroying their careers. Loving each other gives them the will and the strength to fight for their jobs and their relationship. Beating the ex? Icing on the cake!
This is a really good book!
Fair warning, it is an MFM but it is so much more than that. Bailey is just coming out of an awful relationship with a jerk who was verbally abusive when she meets Daniel and Sebastian. They are best friends who want her right from the start and they are more than willing to share her. It is so well written and their passion is amazing.
Love it.
I definitely enjoyed every minute of the story I couldn’t put it down. I bought the box set and I shall have jolly time reading the others. Lots of Steam, banter and a gutsy woman who developed the courage go after what she wants.
The Bet – Bailey’s ex is a jerk, so she decides to join another team on his poker league to beat him and shut his arrogant face up. The team she joins includes best friends Sebastian and Daniel. Daniel is a billionaire having issues with his board of directors and his uncle. Sebastian’s publicist wants him to open a franchise, but his restaurants in NY are having personnel issues. Daniel makes a bet that Bailey can beat her ex in the pool league, and Daniel and Sebastian are making sure she has all the coaching she needs to succeed. So of course there is going to be drama! Cute drama though! Nice little plot and great cast of characters! Happy Reading!
Swoon Worthy!
I really loved how light the tone of this story had because I was kind of expecting there to be this huge catalytic moment and then it all came crumbling down but I was so wrong! And I was so glad to be wrong! Daniel, Bailey & Sebastian just seem to have this magnetic bond and I don’t think anyone of them ever saw what was coming! I love stories like that and how close the characters are and truly have each other’s backs. Oh the spicy sexy and sizzling chemistry amongst them is also a HUGE bonus!!
Enjoyable read with hot sex scenes, emotionally supportive partners, and a HEA. The conflict each partner faced was just white noise.
Nice story. Not a heavy read, but a well written and thought out story with few grammatical or editing errors (is my bar really that low? Hahaha). This is not one of the great, gripping erotica stories that are out there, but a fun read. I have read one other by this author and feel the same about that one – the failing restaurant one. Good story, good main characters, happy ending.
When I read the lead in summary of this book, I thought it might be a hokey little story, but I was in the mood for something light. Something I could read in an afternoon with no real thought. Was I ever wrong! This book had a great storyline, wonderful characters and some really great sex scenes! I’m really excited to start the next in the series.
Strong, curvy heroine and 2 wonderful men. Although the story wasn’t unique, I liked the writing and the characters.
great read
Great read
Bailey Moore is an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology at NYU awaiting tenure.
Sebastian Ardalan is a famous chef with a 2 star Michelin restaurant.
Daniel Hartman is billionaire businessman looking for his next business to acquire.
Bailey has been in an eleven month relationship with Trevor who has been nothing but a subpar verbally abusive douchbag. After yet another humiliating evening after she was there to support him at his pool tournament she had enough and walked out. Unfortunately her spiteful ex has lawyered up and left her with a rent bill she can’t afford so what’s a girl to do? Hit him where it will hurt the most, learn to play pool fast and beat him at his own game in front of his friends.
Sebastian and Daniel and Bailey are all workaholics and they don’t have much free time especially when it comes to relationships. Sebastian just earned his second Michelin star for his Seb New York restaurant and is busy with cookbook, TV,franchise deals and a restaurant that will be sold out every night. Daniel is a billionaire businessman with an important deal pending for a communications company he wants to acquire.
They meet Bailey when she signs up to join their pool team. They agree to coach her on how to play pool when another team member treats her badly. They are immediately attracted to her and before the realize it sparks are flying between the three of them. Bailey has doubts as to if anything they say or do is real. Things are said feelings are hurt, live throws a curveball. Will they come out on the otherside together or will the damage be done?
Bailey has fire in her to match her red hair, loved her feisty side, fierceness, her never give up attitude. I would have loved to seen what happened to them next.

I was asked by the author for an honest review. So Bailey Moore is a professor at NYU who has just broke up with her jerk of an ex-boyfriend, who has settled her with rent for the next 90 days to be a total arse. So she needs to learn to play pool and fast to stick it to him.
That’s were hot chef and restaurant owner, Sebastian Ardalan, and his best friend billionaire and CEO of his family’s business, Daniel Hartman comes in. Bailey needs to relax and just let things happen.
I loved that Bailey started out in the book as a people pleaser and by the end she turns that around with the help of Sebastian and Daniel.
This book touched me emotionally because in some ways I could relate to Bailey. I liked that she found her self confidence after having it torn down by her ex. This book showed a group of women who supports each other through it all. I am really finding that I am a huge fan of the menage’ romance books.
I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. This book was well written and I loved all the characters and I am so looking forward to reading book two, Gambling With Gabriella.
