She’s loved him forever. He’s been too blind to notice. When Gabby Fredericks returns home for the holidays, she’s not expecting her best friend’s brother and her ex-crush—Wyatt West—to meet her at the airport. It’s been five years, and she’s over him. Only, her heart hasn’t gotten the message. Wyatt is taller, more rugged, and even better looking than when she left home…and he’ll never be hers.… more rugged, and even better looking than when she left home…and he’ll never be hers.
Wyatt West can’t believe how much Gabby has changed since he last saw her. He’s always considered her an extra little sister—and off limits—but now the feelings he’s having aren’t brotherly at all. Between his uncertain future in the rodeo and struggling with his growing feelings for Gabby, his plans for a restful holiday have vanished.
It’ll take more than a little mistletoe for these two hearts to come together.

The Best Friend’s Billionaire Brother by Bree Livingston (4.5 stars)
Another truly enjoyable book from Bree Livingston! You can’t go wrong with her books!
This is a clean, stand-alone: a childhood-friends to lovers trope…loved it!! Angst about whether a relationship between them will hurt the love between the two families. As another reviewer mentioned, some special moments with parents. I loved Gabby’s talk with her dad.
A whole family of side characters who I’m hoping to have romances about. A setting that feels truly authentic and billionaires who are down-to-earth what’s not to love?!
*poor, **ok, ***good, ****very good, *****something special
This is such a good book!
I truly enjoyed reading it!
It’s engaging, fun & moving romance.
She’s loved him for as long as she can remember. He always thought of her
as a best friend/little sister. But
something changed when Wyatt sees
Gabby, for the first time in 5 years.
A great start to this new series!
Wyatt Gabby, are adorable together.
Can’t wait for Book 2!
I loved everything about this Must Read Story!!
Falling in love with your best friend’s brother can be a tricky thing, especially when your families are as close as the Wests and Fredricksons. Gabby has tried to move on, but her feelings for Wyatt are still just as strong. I love the close relationship Gabby and Wyatt have. I wasn’t expecting that. Now if Wyatt would stop being so bull-headed he might just figure it out. I hope this is a new series, because I want all their stories, even Carrie Ann and Israel’s.
I loved Gabby but boy did she hold onto that crush way too long! If I was her bestie I would have said he doesn’t deserve you move on sweetie, about a hundred times sooner than anyone actually said it to her. And Wyatt had to be the densest individual on the planet. I know lots of guys and yeah they have their moments but none are this dumb. still, the story was well written and the other characters great. I like The Housekeeper’s Billionaire Boss way better. this was a 3 and a half stars not a 5 like the other. So I am glad I read that first because if I went by this book I might not have continued the series but with the first read being a 5 star I will definitely give the other brothers a chance. I just hope they are as annoying as Wyatt. Gabby deserved way more from life.
Another book I enjoyed from start to finish. The story just flowed really well for me.
I found that the characters worked well together and I had a great connection with them
all as well.
I never found any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of this book.
This is another one of those books that I could read over again.
I do really recommend this one to other readers over the age of 18+
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Never ever do this. First off, if he doesn’t see you someone else will. Second, he’s way too dumb to deserve you. Third, never interrupt someone’s big day to pop the question. It’s ill-mannered and may not turn out quite the romantic gesture someone intended.
Gabby Fredericks is living in Charleston working her dream job. The only problem is that her best friend, Carrie Ann West, is getting married. She is going home. Family will be happy but she is dreading it. Her childhood crush, Wyatt West, will be there. He still has no clue about her feelings. He sees her as his best friend or a friend of the family. Something drastic needs to happen. Carrie Ann comes up with a plan. The plan back fires and Gabby is devastated. Once this wedding is over, she needs to make plans to heal her broken heart. Eventually Wyatt wakes up, but has he lost her. Time for drastic measures to win her back. Love the ending.
A clueless bull rider stands to lose his friendship and love of a lifetime.
Love all westerns
Fun easy read.
Fun easy read.
Wondering why romance writers feel the need to make the men rich and the women unaware. First it was millionaires now billionaires, how about a series about non rich people. Search for titles with billionaire in name, all romance and unbelievable.
OK, I have to read this one again. It was too fun to only enjoy once!
This is the first book in the Caprock Canyon Series. This is Gabby and Wyatt’s story. Love was right before Wyatt’s eyes but he couldn’t see it as he considered Gabby as family. Best friends since childhood and soul mates. A friends to lovers clean romance that was fun to read. Well written with an engaging story line a cute cast of characters. A happy ending and no cliffhanger.
interesting theory that ‘like family’ cannot risk being true love
A childhood crush to true love clean romance, Gabby has loved Wyatt, her best friend’s brother, forever it seems, and he only sees her has a good friend or part of the family. She finally gives up being noticed and leaves the state to finish college. She only goes back to her hometown for Thanksgiving because she believes Wyatt will be absent. But guess who picks her up at the airport? Will Wyatt notice her now? Does she want him to? Then the long weekend turns into six weeks since her best friend is getting married on New Year’s. Can she hold on to her feelings?
I highly recommend this book.
I was given an ARC and I am leaving this honest review voluntarily.
-‘Maybe he was right about Wyatt too. She’d keep moving on, and if he ever decided to catch up, it would be great. If not and he was too late, then that was on him. She wasn’t standing still anymore. Not for him, not for anyone. She was loving someone and setting them free, and she was going to do the same for herself.’-
Wyatt and Gabby come back to their childhood homes for a wedding. Gabby has been in love with Wyatt forever but he’s never seen her as anything but a family friend. When both start to question their careers and begin thinking about moving home again, complications in their friendship arise.
This is a sweet story about second chance romance. The author writes in a similar style to Anne-Marie Meyer, Judy Corry, and Victorine Lieske, among others. I liked this story and I recommend it.
