This book has it all, romance, emotion, friendship, suspense and hope.
Nick and Lindsey’s story was so interesting to read.
This my first time reading this author but surely won’t be the last.
This is the third book in this amazing series, and is Lindsey and Nick’s story. Lindsey is starting over in a new town after escaping an abusive relationship. Nick is from her past, and together they are perfect. This is a well written story, which is heartbreaking, emotional, romantic, and filled with secrets, suspense, and second chance’s, all of which had me totally intrigued and captivated throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author, and highly recommend for all readers.
Langley Park just Keeps getting better and better! The Beginning of Home is the second chance story of Nick Kincade and Lindsey Hanlon, who meet one summer when they were 16 and fell in love. But unfortunately they are separated and don’t reunite for another 16 years. At this point Lindsey is just trying to stay in the shadows after escaping an abusive relationship, but Nick is determined to knock down her walls.
This is such an incredibly sweet story that you do not want to miss! The epilogue is my absolute favorite part of the entire book, but I won’t spoil it. I will, however, reiterate that you need to read this book!!! Nick and Lindsey’s story is the 3rd book in the Langley Park series and while it can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading the other 2 books first to prevent spoilers and enhance the whole experience.
The only word I can think of when trying to explain how I feel about The Beginning Of Home is simply everything. This book has everything. Epic romance. Emotion that pulls at your heart. Wonderful friendship. Suspense that has you gasping. And hope. Lots and lots of hope. This is my first read of Krista Sandor’s beautiful writing and it certainly is not going to be my last. She has a true talent in pulling you in with characters you can’t help but love and then she keeps you hooked with twists and turns to match the sweet and swoon.
I can’t think of one thing I didn’t love about Nick and Lindsey. The good and the bad were all so perfectly done to create two people who not only were magnificent together, but also wonderful individually. First love, second chances, and overcoming the worst that life can throw at you their story may have moments that leave you ugly crying but the hope that prevails will leave you smiling ear to ear.
This book is filled with suspense, intrigue and second chances. When they were teenagers, Nick and Lindsey met as camp counselors. Their time together provided special moments between them. When his parents came and took him away, he wrote her a letter that devastated her. It is sixteen years later and Lindsey is on the run from her abusive ex and harboring a secret that could be detrimental to her. She runs into Nick in her godmothers hometown. The meeting has reawakened feelings she thought were long gone and forgotten. Has fate afforded them a second chance or will her past catch up and come between them?

This is by far my favorite book in the Langley Park series. All three books have shown strong women who rise above difficult situations, but there is just something about this book. Maybe it’s because the book provided the back story in a way that demonstrates the build of their relationship more than the previous books. There is this lovely little world being built around this town of Langley Park. You see plenty of reoccurring characters, which as a reader really helps me get invested in a series because I feel connected to the characters. If you’ve enjoyed the previous books, you’ll most definitely enjoy this.
Our main characters meet at sixteen in Langley Park and while the intimacy that occurs between Lindsey and Nick is sweet and builds to steamy, it seem a little too mature for teenagers. Our young lovers are pulled apart, fast forward, and fate brings them back together where they initially met. Lindsay is running from something dangerous in her past and Nick has his on fears on the type of man he may be under certain circumstances. Lindsey while technically hiding, finds support she could never have imagined in the women of Langley Park. Our lovely couple rekindles their relationship in a way that helps them heal from the demons from their past and start their new beginning.
4.5 Second Chance Stars!
OH the FEELS I got from Langley Park in this installment. This story was delivered perfectly giving us a clear backstory that helps with understanding the present. I enjoyed that this was a new story-line yet Krista Sandor still gives the suspense I have enjoyed throughout her Langley Park series. Krista delivered broken yet beautiful characters in Lindsey and Nick that left me with a feeling of hope.
I just have to say that I love Miss G she truly makes this series for me!!! Can’t wait for more from Langley Park.
The Beginning of Home is the third book in the series and I really liked it. It was a beautiful story! I loved Nick and Lindsey. They were perfect together! I love all the Langley Park friends! Lookin forward to reading more!
