I enjoyed your book
love the characters, loved the book. starting other books in the series
Rhona is a Scottish chieftan’s daughter on the island of Skye, and he hopes for her to make an advantageous marriage. But Rhona is stubborn and headstrong; she refuses the latest two suitors and then runs away to join her mother’s relatives on the mainland. Taran has two very deep scars on his face, leading the other warriors to call him the Beast. He is also loyal to Rhona’s father, leading some to call him the chief’s hound. This medieval romance focuses on the powerlessness of woman, who are often viewed as possessions or as pieces in a game of power. Historically accurate, containing wonderful characters, this book is awesome.
It was nice to see a tough man want to protect a young woman friend. He was willing to be ridiculed about his scars to help a woman he loved from a distance by competing in games for her hand in marriage. The young woman matured to see beyond his disfigurement to his kind heart. Hopefully we will still look beyond peoples scars to discover the person inside with a heart.
Great story!! Can’t go wrong with beauty and the beast. Although was getting a little impatient with the heroine, but all turned out well!
Loved it!
Enjoyed this medieval romance.
Good.
Have always enjoyed this theme – this book added more layers to the characters that we are ‘familiar with’.

Predictable
Loved the male character and the way he complemented the female character. Great Read
I absolutely adored this series. The yearning of the beast and his dreams coming true. Beauty is not always skin deep.
Love the time period.
