Once upon a time, I fell in love with two men. Gaeton, with his brash charm and casual cruelty. Beast, his lust equal to his penchant for violence. Their feelings for me were matched only by their hatred for each other. Being with them was sinful and perfect in different ways. In the end, I couldn’t choose, and I lost them both. Now, my sisters have tasked me with securing our power base, no … lost them both.
Now, my sisters have tasked me with securing our power base, no matter the cost. I will do anything for my family—even if it means agreeing to the terms set by Gaeton and Beast.
The three of us. Together. But only for as long as it takes me to choose one of them once and for all.
When playing games of power, happily ever after isn’t a priority. Not even for me.
Especially not for me.

Oh lord this was such a good read and so hot hot hot, which wasn’t really a surprise but still! At this point I expect nothing but excellence and twisted kinkyness from these books and that’s exactly what I got with The Beast.
This book had literally all the tropes that I adore: Second chance love, enemies to lovers, MMF and more. The relationships between Isabelle, Beast and Gaeton were complicated for sure. They had a lot of history that didn’t turn out so well in the past but even so there wasn’t unnecessary drama while they were sorting their shit out and I loved that.
I gotta say I didn’t always think Isabelle was very likable but I didn’t mind this much because Beast and Gaeton knew how to deal with her and I kinda liked this dynamic a lot since it’s usually the way around if we’re looking at it from the retelling’s perspective. I also enjoyed seeing some of the characters from the previous books. That’s always a bonus to me.
Overall, The Beast by Katee Robert was another amazing addition to the Wicked Villains series. This was a Beauty and the Beast retelling unlike any I’ve ever read and it once again proved to me that I will never get tired of reading these books by this author. I’m already looking forward toward the next one.
Kink club with Disney characters! How could you go wrong!
Wow that was steamy AF. Consensual non-consent isn’t something I usually look for in a romance, I tend to hard towards wanting clear and obvious consent that doesn’t blur that line, but I still enjoyed this quite a lot. Watching all the complicated feelings and how they would play out was great, and the numerous scenes they played out kept the reading pace quick and easy.
These books just keep getting better. I’m wondering if my new favorite trope is going to be MMF. It’s so dang good! I loved all of these main characters. Isabelle, Beast, and Gaeton were so amazing together. I loved that they worked through their problems so well. I’m in love!
Gaeton and Beast have a love/hate relationship, with the emphasis mostly on hate thanks to Isabelle. Isabelle wanted both of them, but when she couldn’t pick one, she got neither. Now she is back, making deal with both of them to keep her family’s territory safe from attack. But the deal she makes with them causes their old issue to arise, but maybe this will help heal them?
The triad is such a dynamic group, with a dom, a switch and a sub, it’s the perfect group of people for any steamy scene (and there are plenty). Not only do we get incredibly steamy scenes, we get to see a group work through old wounds and finally heal while still getting their happily ever after. Its unconventional, but it is perfect for them. Katee Robert is a genius with her series, and she knocks it out with this book.

**I received an ARC of this from the author and her team and I volunteered to leave an unbiased review**
Wow. This book is immediately going on my favourite shelf.
It. Was. Incredible. It was steamy. It had angst. It had actual plot. It had real emotion bleeding of the page (or the screen in this case because Kindle)
This is the first book I’ve personally read in this series, but rest assured I will be reading the others as soon as possible. It is part of a series and can technically be read as a standalone, but there are heavy features of other characters from other books and I quite frankly just wanna know their stories.
Each of the characters is unique in their own way and I already love them all. They’ve stolen my heart and I will definitely be recommending this (I already have) and reading it again.
This is the second book in this series that I’ve read/listened to by Katee Robert. I loved this book even more than the first one of the series. It has made a good standalone, but I feel I’m missing so much by not reading the two books prior. I’m wanting to back track for certain. There seems to be an overall question going on over the whole series as well as a hint to the next book that leaves me wanting more!
The narrators, Gregory Salinas, Jack Calihan, & Lessa Lamb, are excellent. I didn’t want to pause the book. I loved Jack Calihan’s deep rumble, Gregory Salinas’s smooth voice, and Lessa Lamb’s sweet and smooth sound. Great performances!

I never knew Beast, Gaeton and Belle could be portrayed like this but let me tell you I loved every second of it.
So I honestly haven’t read anything like this story and even though I was a little vary of it at first, I fell head over heels for all three of them.
Belle is so strong and such a force to be reckoned with. At the same time she just wants to love and be loved. I adore her and respect her but also want to fight anyone who wants to hurt her. She deserves all the good things in the world. Also, her sisters are the freaking best? I want to read more about all of them. They just make my heart happy.
Beast and Gaeton are such shits and I love them so much. They are clearly madly in love with Belle and with each other but they were just so stubborn. It made me want to smack them and shout in their faces. They also gave me such heartache because these two are the dirtiest most purest boys ever. THEY JUST WANT LOVE OKAY?!
I just admire Katee’s writing so much. No one writes kink the way she does. It’s so dirty and hot and respectful. I am crazy about every part of it.

The Beast was enjoyable. It’s downright filthy. It contains the elements that I loved in the previous books but somehow this one didn’t fully work for me. I can’t put my finger on exactly why it didn’t work for me but I’m still looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

The Beast is book four in Katee Robert’s Wicked Villain series, and I am just so in love and obsessed. This follows Beast, Gaeton, and Isabelle. We all know from previous books that there is history between all three people and that things ended on a very sour and bitter note. Now they are coming back together to help save their territory, and old anger and passions are soon burning bright once again. The books in this series may be on the shorter side, but holy crap are they packing heat. I love the different kinks we get to see in each book. No book is the same and man is that refreshing! We all know that I am deeply in love with Katee’s writing style. She weaves her magic writing wand and she delivers emotions and chemistry like nobody’s business. Bravo! Now I’m off to go sulk because I have to wait for The Sea Witch to be born.
Read this if you enjoy:
-second chance romances
-kink
-MMF (yes sword crossing occurs and it’s delicious)
-F/F play
-erotic romance

With delineated territories in Carver City, the Belmonte family must defend their claim after their patriarch died. As a threat is detected, Isabelle Belmonte is tasked with securing two generals capable of maintaining her family’s position. For Isabelle, that means confronting the two men she’s loved and lost. But Beast and Gaeton have their own demands that must be met before they will return to their posts.
Told in multiple POV, the plot unfolds with these characters needing to be truthful as to what they want. With all still holding longstanding feelings for each other, their kinky playtime is intense and hot. Soon, they realize what they’ve been seeking isn’t a conventional relationship and all boundaries are removed.
What I liked about this story was the filthy hot times and all the possibilities that came to fruition. Beast and Gaeton are so different but are quite complimentary and I liked the balance of competition versus friendship. As for Isabelle, she is a lucky girl, but I wanted to know more about her family and the pending threat that was treated as more of a secondary plot point.
The Beast is an erotic story about defining relationships and getting a second chance to make it right. This book would appeal to those who want a dirty fairytale retelling.
OMG, this is a very hot and filthy read that you will consume. The Beast had me blushing and fanning myself. I could not put this down. Katee Robert you have exceeded my expectations. Page after page I was hooked. Y’all need to read this book, like right now.
This is probably my favorite book of the Wicked Villains Series!! Katee made G. One of the most likable, and Dare I say, a romantic?, characters in the series! That is talent! This love triangle is epic!! It’s filthy and dirty in all the right ways! You will not be disappointed with all the naughty kinkery!
The wicked villains series is such great entertainment. It’s been a wild sexy ride since we were first introduced to Carver City and it’s inhabitants romantic escapades. Here we have Isabelle, Beast and Gaeton. There was previously a love triangle and all three have still not recovered since her breakup with both men. She strikes a deal with both men in order to save her family kingdom. What they are not ready for that this always should have been a triad. You get to see them in very sexy situations as they finally start to see that they are stronger together than apart. It’s a steamy fun story.
I don’ t think I’ll ever be able to look at my favorite Disney movies the same after reading the Wicked Villains series. I think it’s official; Katee Robert writes the best MMF romances. I’ve said this both but I’m a big fan of MMF over MFM romances.
Most of the drama in this book is relationship based. Belle had past relationships with Gaeton and Beast separately and both ended about a year before this book starts. However, events prior to the book, mean that Belle must go to Beast and Gaeton to get their assistance. In exchange for that, she has to spend two weeks with them.
One of the big things I liked about this book was how Katee Robert was able to show the past relationships between Belle and Gaeton and Belle and Beast without having long flashback scenes. You get the sense of their past relationships without letting it overwhelm the new, joint relationship they are currently building. I’ve never been the biggest fan of flashbacks so I appreciated the way Katee handled this in The Beast.
This book was so steamy and sexy. I never thought I would like the kinky, shame sex that the three of them have but I was totally wrong. The Beast was sensual and yet heartfelt at the same time. It was the perfect escape read!
Every time a new book releases in this series I drop everything I’m doing to devour it. This new addition was no exception and I loved every page! Surly, growly, inwardly softy Beast is head to head with Hook for my favorite guy in this series. Definitely one I’ll be re-reading!

Things definitely get a move on right from the beginning. I only wished the mainly plot of the story started to appear earlier than it did. Wow, this trio is off the charts though. I’m still excited to see what happens next!
