The Banshee’s Spark is part of the Paranormal Council series and is Faye, Penny, and Reese’s complete story.

This story starts on a sad note, being mates your souls are entwined yet it’s painful to touch. Till there is a ray of hope and her name is Penny and the three find there HEA with some intrigue along the way.
This story is my favorite so far in The Thornheart Coven series. Sara Woulfe again did a nice job narrating the characters.
Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession
Witch’s Spark by Laura Greenwood is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sara Woulfe.
This is the second book of Laura’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. The story is short and does end on a cliffhanger so I cannot wait for the third book Witch’s Web to be released.
Sara did a great job on the narration. I really enjoyed her accent.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal romances.

A witch and a shifter knew they were mates since they were five years old. But, after turning eighteen they could no longer touch each other without feeling excruciating pain! They even had to sleep in separate beds to keep from accidentally touching. Then Fae meets Penny and is immediately attracted to her. Wait until she finds out Penny is a Banshee! Will Fae and Reese ever be able to touch each other? Can they be friends or more with a banshee? I can’t tell you the answer but, reading the book will let you know. The only negative I found with this book is that there are too many holes in the background of the story unless you have read the prior book “Witches Potion”. Reading the first book before this one will make this an even more enjoyable read. I would rate this book a 4.5 for this reason.

Witch’s Spark is the second book of the Thornheart Coven Series and I loved it. You are able to get a sense for the character personalities very quickly and are drawn immediately into the story. This book is well written, fast paced, full of chemistry and entertaining. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

Witch’s Spark
(Thornheart Coven Book 2)
by Laura Greenwood
They have known that they were companions, since they were 5. But, turning 18, something happened, something was wrong with their bond; they cannot touch each other without causing pain for them both. The emotional pain can be every bit as hard to handle, as the physical pain, when you know deep down inside your sole; you know that the two of you are meant to be together. During her yoga class one day, there is an instant spark and she felt a connection with a kind hearted and friendly yoga instructor; that night the female companion was able to touch without feeling any pain. But, the male still felt the pain when they touch; until he meets the yoga instructor, then both the companions can touch each other. Maybe it wasn’t that their bond was wrong all this time; that it was just that they were incomplete. They learn her secret and pull her closer and search for answers, the instructor held the secret to fix their bond. I enjoy the good love stories, and even more the ones the make the reader think about the twists in the story.
Witch’s Spark is the second book in the Thornheart Coven series, sweet and a little steamy romance set in the Shifter Councils universe; that is very well written and another enjoyable read from Laura Greenwood. Must to read them in order, as to not getting confused with the story-line. I was captivated with the three main characters and look forward to continuing with this story line. The fact that they were meant to be together; but, their touch caused each other pain to each other, made this story more interesting. This is an emotional story to read with interesting characters and a unique storyline. I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book, giving my own honest opinion and I am giving Witch’s Spark 4.5 stars.
Witch’s Spark by Laura Greenwood is a wonderful story to read. This is book number two in this series and I fell in love with it. This story I fell in love with cause it deals with witches which I love to read about and I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about witches.

Witch’s Spark is the second book in the Thornheart Coven series and it has an original storyline. I think the fact that Faye and Reese knew they were meant to be together but yet they have never touched each other without causing pain to each other made this story more interesting. When they turn eighteen they realize they are mates but still have had no physical contact. Everything changes when Penny joins the duo. This is an emotional read with interesting characters and a unique storyline.
Fated to be together, but unable to touch until the missing member of their trio shows up.
This is a very interesting twist of a threesome story in that the third member is not so much an extra as essential to the union.
The story was well written and the characters well developed, but there seemed to be something missing from the chemistry. Once the threesome gets together, I was expecting more of a reaction rather than just sex. Don’t get me wrong. I am perfectly happy with the sex part, but after waiting so long just to touch, I expected a stronger reaction from all three parties.
That being said, the story was still quite enjoyable and well worth the read.
Recommended.

This is the second book in the Thornheart Coven series and had a nice little twist to Reese and Faye’s mate bond. They have known since they were five that they were meant to be together but found out when they were 18 that they were mates but with a weird problem with their mate bond. You will have to read the story to find out, believe me it is worth it.
Reaper – This is my first read by this author and the first word is the F-bomb! There’s an overview, which I appreciate knowing what a book is about before I read it. This quickly read story moved at a decent pace and had interesting characters. I enjoyed the vivid description of Hades; a bit different from the usual location. Anima and Than are likable and had good chemistry. This is an enjoyable fantasy, not the same pattern as everyone else’s; shows imagination. Needs minor editing. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 4*
Witch’s Potion #1 – After enjoying Reaper, my first by Laura, I wanted to see if she could do witches. This is a fun, light-hearted, quickly read romance between a witch and dryad. The characters are likable and their conversations are interesting with their wordplay, although some of the masculine dialog sounded like a young woman would say them. The added problem of using the love potion was hilarious, along with the fact it’s not THE secret, but became intriguing adding to the confusion. The writing style is makes this relaxing, entertaining read. I just wished the book was edited since the errors were distracting by sheer volume alone. I was disappointed with the ending; a sex scene after being kidnapped instead of looking for the kidnapper? I found this book on Booksprout.co. 3* (Ending and lack of edited lost stars.)
Witch’s Spark #2 – I thought this would be a continuation of Witch’s Potion, but it was mainly about sex, a threesome. I couldn’t get into the depression felt by the couple and then adding the Banshee to the mix. She came across as a stalker, a predator. I couldn’t enjoy the characters as I did in WP. The writing style wasn’t the same as in WP. Disappointed there wasn’t more story even though the family characters did appear here and there. There’s an overview, which I appreciate knowing what a book is about before I read it. This is the last book I’ll read by this author. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 2*
To start with, I hadn’t read Witch’s Potion, but I didn’t feel lost. I could tell there were some references to events in Potion, but it didn’t detract from my enjoyment. I really liked Reese, Faye, and Penny. I felt for all of them, Reece and Faye because they knew they should be together but couldn’t without pain, and Penny because she was so alone. I liked how they knew they were fated but still got to know each other. I’m looking forward to Witch’s Web.
