From New York Times & USA Today Bestseller, Vi Keeland, comes a sexy new standalone novel.
The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men’s locker room.
It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster.
The famed quarterback decided to bare all.
And by all, I don’t mean he told me any of his secrets.
No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first … towel, just as I asked the first question. On camera.
The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby—screwing with me.
When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me.
But I don’t date players.
And it’s not because I’m one of the few women working in the world of professional football.
I’d date an athlete.
It’s the other kind of player I don’t date.
You know the type. Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid.
Brody Easton was the ultimate player.
Every woman wanted to be the one to change him.
But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for.
Turned out, I was that girl.
Simple right?
Let’s face it. It never is.
There’s a story between once upon a time and happily ever after…
And this one is ours.
Author’s note – The Baller is a full-length standalone novel. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

This book was very different and I liked it but also nothing stood out for me so I can’t say much on it other than Brody Easton is a jerk but also a very sensitive one who hides behind being a jerk to keep from opening himself up to anyone. Ms. Keenland made the character’s come together nicely. This book once I picked it up I had a hard time putting it down, it drew me and I enjoyed the story immensely but other than that nothing has inspired me to mention more.
** I received a copy of this book from the author as a discussion group book and decided to volunteerly review the book**
I absolutely fell in love with this book. Brody Easton just made a notch on my list of book boyfriends for sure. The writing was great, the chemistry was unbelievable, and the story line kept me on my toes. Brody was the normal cocky jock that Delilah thought he was. Boy, did he prove her wrong.
There were so many aw moments in this book along with some panty dropping moments in this book. It had all of the elements. I just can’t say enough about this book and how much I enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be looking out for more of Vi Keeland’s work.

The Baller was my first book by this author but most definitely not my last. I loved it from beginning to end. Brody was arrogant and dirty talking but so honest I fell immediately in love. Delilah was also awesome, she was just as much fun and I loved the chemistry between her and Brody. Now was this a perfect read? Absolutely not but I loved it anyway. The whole situation with Willow didn’t bother me because I always believed Brody’s feeling for Delilah were true and he needed to confront his past. I can’t wait to read another book by this author.

ღ So I join a book club last month & this was the book of the month for October …so I figure what heck. This is my first book by this author & I have say that the humor & chemistry hit the right spot for me
Lord have mercy I don’t know which one I did more with this read… laugh or cry…. I’d definitely say laugh… if you are looking for good old fashion comedy romance, you stop in the right place
Lord Brody had one sexy ass dirty mind… love how he could get you to laugh out loud over the craziest things. One things I loved the most about Brody, he had that right amount of arrogant.. Not too much of it.. Where he was one of those men -you loved to hate… most likely you’d love to take him up on his offers – kinda guy
There are not very many women sports announcers I was so proud when Delilah was able to with stand Brody’s prank in their locker room interview …I can only imagine trying keep a straight face if that would’ve happen to me , & specially on camera
I am not sure I liked half way through the book a third POV that was introduced no worries I recovered fast
I really enjoyed reading Brody & Delilah
I was Left feeling completely satisfied
Only thing I hope that Delilah’s bff Indie get her own book, that would mostly be hilarious… she like female version of Brody
So happy I was fortunate enough to be invited to read this book
Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review

“Flip a coin. Heads- you give me. Tails- I take yours. It’s a total win-win for you.”
I normally don’t read a lot of sports romances but the blurb of The Baller had piqued my interest a lot. The reason for that is that the main female character Delilah was a sportscaster. I think that was the main reason I decided to read this book. As a woman in the sports world that is mainly dominated by men it’s important to be strong and not take any crap from anyone. Delilah grew up in this world so she knew exactly how to act and communicate with athletes.
“You have a dirty mouth.””This dirty mouth wants to do dirty things to you.”
I just loved the first interaction between the sexy Brody Easton and Delilah Maddox. Brody had me hooked from the first scene he was in. There is just something about these alpha and cocky athletes that does things to us women. He definitely knew what he wanted and went for it. Delilah was hesitant because she didn’t want just a casual thing. There are also some things in her past that made her kind of hesitant to get involved with Brody. Brody doesn’t give up though. I loved that he wasn’t this player (in the period of the book) that went and had casual sex with any women. He was focused on Delilah!! I really loved that about him.
“They say blood is thicker than water, but that doesn’t mean shit. Everyone needs water to live.”
Both Brody and Delilah have history, a very sad one. I was happy both of them closed those chapters in this book. I did love the first half of the book more than the second. Because I thought the interaction between the two got a little less. I loved them as a couple. In the second part we get 3/4 chapters in a new/third person’s POV. Normally I don’t like that but it worked really well in this book. I hope that person gets her/his own book.
The writing was excellent, I am definitely looking forward to reading more books by Vi.
“When life knocks you down, stop and look around for one thing that’s good, because there is always something. Then cling to that good.”
Man oh man, Vi Keeland NEVER disappoints me with her leading men.
I loved Brody from the second he dropped that towel. Then add in his bod, cockiness and sassy mouth…TOUCHDOWN, well he is a quarterback after all.
Delilah & Brody have crazy chemistry. Their body language, stolen glances and sexy texts were fabulous. Their banter was the perfect blend of sexy and smart ass.
Brody also has a soft side and Delilah was loving both sides. Something I don’t think either were prepared for, but made for a great build-up for me.
I loved the dual POV, but I could have done without the introduction to a 3rd POV. That “voice” was not one I wanted to hear from, but the other two…all.day.long. Talk dirty to me towel boy.
“There’s nothing I would like to do than fuck you full of sorry.”
Don’t mind if you do!
This is one of my go-to comfort reads. I just love it.
Really loved this book. Thought about the characters for days after
From the moment I cracked the cover on this sexy little page-turner I was hooked, it was everything you’d want in a romance read and SO much more! Great characters with amazing chemistry, lots of dirty talk, an air of mystery, and loads of emotionally rich content to bring on the feels… Loved it!!!
h: Delilah
H: Brody
(Dual POVs)
I LOVE Brody. Absolutely love him! Men who exude confidence and wit really steal my heart. And the mouth on this man, ho-ly shit I enjoyed the secondary characters in this story as well!
I thought Delilah dragged things out at the end, longer than they needed to be. I thought it was cute the way Delilah decided to tell Brody that she was ready to give things another shot.
Favorite quotes:
Delilah: You have a real way with words, friend.
Brody: I have a real way with my tongue. When are you going to give in and let me show you?
“I can’t make it that easy for you now, can I?”
“You’ve done nothing but make me hard since the day I met you.” -Brody
Yet I knew in my heart he was the one. My soul had picked him, not my mind. -Delilah
