Being the good twin isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Abby Levesque knows that better than anyone. While her sister drifts through life carefree, Abby’s left to clean up her messes. The latest mess? Hudson Quinn– the hot, angry billionaire on her doorstep demanding she accompany him to Paris. He’s obviously mistaken her for her twin, Gabrielle, who happens to be his assistant. Too bad Gabrielle … Gabrielle is nowhere to be found.
If Abby wants to fix her sister’s latest blunder, she’ll have to pretend to be someone else for two weeks–preferably someone who isn’t wildly attracted to her mercurial boss… As far as Hudson’s concerned, his sexy-but-flaky new personal assistant is just another in a long line of terrible decisions and failures in his life. But he’s working on the deal of a lifetime–a deal that could change everything for him–and he needs her help to close it. The last thing he ever expected was to connect with her on a soul-deep level. Falling in love wasn’t part of the job, and when Hudson finds out who she really is, Abby’s terrified he’ll never forgive her.
With a billion dollar deal–and both their hearts–on the line, can Abby convince Hudson she’s the right twin for him?

Abby has always been the good twin when compared to her sister Gabby. Abby gets mistaken for her sister, when Gabby boss comes by on his way on a business trip she’s suppose to be on. To save Gabby’s job, which is their livelihood, she takes Gabby spot and identity. I loved this quick read. So sweet an a happily ever after ending.
You’ve always heard the stories of twin’s switching places at school as kids but what happens when it’s unintentional and not your fault? The Bad Twin delivers all the naughtiness you expect from Avery Scott’s stories but with a mixture of mistaken identity and an irresistible boss. Abby is pulled from the life she knows to fill in for her sister who her boss doesn’t realize there are two of. The trip and adventure are all new for Abby as she’s the responsible and levelheaded of the twins. Gabby is carefree, reckless and only lives for today. Hudson is broody, moody and committed to making his father and family happy since he feels everything wrong in their lives is his fault.
The Bad Twin is heartfelt, heartbreaking and heart melting. I recommend this easy and fun story for a quick getaway.
Abby is always the good one and she finds herself in a situation she cant get out of but finds love with Hudson. Great love story.
I was skeptical at first about this book, but it blew my mind and kept making me want to come back for more! I absolutely loved it! I can’t wait to read more books by Avery Scott! Definitely recommend this book to EVERYONE!!!
Sometimes you do what you have to do in order to help out. That’s exactly what Abby did. It’s not her fault Hunter couldn’t tell her and Gabby apart. It’s not her fault he wouldn’t let her explain. Abby pretended to be her sister in a time of need. I felt parts of this book dragged on, but it was really good. The author really explained the twins perfectly. Showed you what their life was like.
I freaking loved this book!!! Gabrielle and Abby are identical twins in the verge of losing their house! Abby is the responsible one who covers for Gabrielle when instead of going with her boss go Paris she runs off to Mexico. Abby is such a strong character and her relationship with Hudson is so magical! I loved the story! It had me laughing and crying right with Abby!! I loved the descriptions of Paris as well! It made it sound even more magical!
Abby is the good twin and Gabby is the bad. She goes out and parties and Abby is the responsible one. Gabby becomes an assistant to Hudson, a rich man, who works in his family’s business. When ‘ flighty’ Gabby takes off, Abby is the one left holding the bag. They are about to lose their house, Abby gets laid off, and she’s jobless. So when Hudson shows up, Abby goes as Gabby. They are going to Paris to talk to a client and hopefully wrap up the contract. But Abby has no idea and just wings it. When Hudson finds out Abby deceived him, can he forgive her?
Fair story but it drove me crazy when Hudson, in his point of view, has him calling Abby his assistant, then his lover, and then Ms. Levesque, it gets a little aggravating instead of just her name. The same with Abby calling Hudson Mr. Quinn and the next sentence Hudson.

I was wondering if he would find out on his own that this was a different person. I was hoping he would for more drama haha. She was such a hot mess when she went with him. Her sister so us responsible. I liked how their relationship progressed. The ending kept me guessing for a few and then I was happy!
The bad twin follows the story of identical twin girls Abby and Gabrielle. Abby who is responsible, pays the bills and Gabrielle who is a party girl. The 2 have little money and struggle to pay for their house and bills. Things only get worse when Abby is laid off at work. Then Gabrielle disappears on a whim to Mexico when she is supposed to be going to France with her boss for an important deal. When Gabrielle’s boss turns up on the doorstep ready to go to Paris and Gabrielle is nowhere to be found Abby pretends to be her twin to save her job. Pretty much a run of the mill story, boss and Abby fall for each other, then he finds out she lied…. Nothing new but easy to read.
This book was full of everything you could expect: tension, twists, passion, feeling, heartbreak, frusteration, rejection, and lies (oh, lots of lies). the characters were wonderfully written, and while unrealistic in premis, they made you feel like one of the characters. When Abby is mistaken as her sister Gabriella, she takes the trip knowing it is the only way to save her job. She never expected to fall in love. Hudson, for what it is worth, finds the trip breaking down every wall he has built around himself. That is until deception rears its ugly head. Refusing to conceed, he retreats within himself and his past misery. Can he risk it all for someone who has already broke him, yet helped him heal old wounds at the same time? Will ‘she’ truly care for him as herself, not playing a part? There are to many risks; to many unanswered questions.

Abby and her twin sister have been living in the same house since they were five years old but since there Grand-mère (grandmother) passed away a few years ago they have been struggling to keep the lights on and food on the table. So when she is let go from her job she begins to panic about everything but luckily Gabriella landed a good job or so Abby thought. When Gabriella’s boss shows up at there house one night wondering why Gabriella wasn’t ready to leave and threatens her job, not knowing he is actually talking to Abby, Abby makes a decision that could backfire on them both.
A great romance novel!! It’s like a Sweet Valley High book in adult form. The characters are great, the plot is well developed. Not only will you be crying with the heroine when she’s down, but your heart will soar with hers when she gets her HEA
This was a cute book with just the right amount of steam. Abby and Gabby were identical twins but opposites in every other way. Gabby was flakey and undependable while Abby had it together. When Gabby’s boss mistakes her for her sister she ends up on a business trip to Paris in an effort to save her sister’s job. The descriptions of Paris were so vivid that it made me feel like I was there. Chemistry takes over and she finds herself falling for a guy who doesn’t even know her real name, Drama and some twists make for a cute story. I just love a romance with a little bit of deception but with good intentions written in.
The Bad Twin by Avery Scott has just that.
What Abigail (Abby) is confronted by her twin sister’s boss in a case of mistaken identity she has one of two choices: fess up or save her sister’s job by playing along. <---See good intentions. Hudson is the internally tortured billionaire suffering self-induced penance for his family loss. Suffering between heartbreak and an uninterested passion for his work, he finds himself entranced with his personal assistant. Add in one stunningly dreamy business strip to Paris, touristy attractions, confections, and gardens and you get a heroine falling fast for a guy who doesn’t even know her real name. Abby’s quirky personality and “oops” moments in her deception were adorable, but I love that she grew stronger in her confidence as the storyline progressed and eventually added in tidbits of passion and snark. As I would expect in a romance, the story carries just enough steamy moments without taking the book too far down the erotica path but rather focused on the character’s journeys and, of course, an HEA. Avery Scott truly captured the otherworldly beauty of Paris in her words and the stunning pull of the romanticism of the city. The emotional journey from Hudson was stunning to witness and I just loved the ending. I highly recommend this one as a feel-good romance with a little slow burn and angst.
Abagil & Gabrielle are indentical twins of French origin. One is the good girl, the other has wanderlust & not very stable in life. Enter Hudson, who Gabby has taken advantage of. When he arrives at their home Abby is mistaken for her sister & ends up in Paris on a business trip. Of course the other sister is up to no good. Abby saves the day but unfortunately when Hudson learns of the deception it all falls apart.
While that’s it in a nutshell, there’s more to how it all started & where & how it ended. Also how their meeting changed both their futures.
Loved the banter & the chemistry between the two characters plus it wasnt overly angsty. However I’m sure I’ve read this before. A 2nd edition? Anyhow enjoy!
