Being the good twin isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Abby Levesque knows that better than anyone. While her sister drifts through life carefree, Abby’s left to clean up her messes. The latest mess? Hudson Quinn– the hot, angry billionaire on her doorstep demanding she accompany him to Paris. He’s obviously mistaken her for her twin, Gabrielle, who happens to be his assistant. Too bad Gabrielle … Gabrielle is nowhere to be found.
If Abby wants to fix her sister’s latest blunder, she’ll have to pretend to be someone else for two weeks–preferably someone who isn’t wildly attracted to her mercurial boss… As far as Hudson’s concerned, his sexy-but-flaky new personal assistant is just another in a long line of terrible decisions and failures in his life. But he’s working on the deal of a lifetime–a deal that could change everything for him–and he needs her help to close it. The last thing he ever expected was to connect with her on a soul-deep level. Falling in love wasn’t part of the job, and when Hudson finds out who she really is, Abby’s terrified he’ll never forgive her.
With a billion dollar deal–and both their hearts–on the line, can Abby convince Hudson she’s the right twin for him?

*REVIEW*
The Bad Twin is a fun and fast treat. Abby and Gabby are twins in looks but opposites in personality. Gabby is the irresponsible one who just drifts like whatever through life. Abby is the responsible twin who worries about bills and grown-up things. Gabby actually gets a job, but her carelessness causes a mistaken identity. Gabby misses a meeting, and her boss shows up at her house. He mistakes Abby for Gabby, but rather than correcting him, Abby just goes with it. Suddenly, she’s on a plane to Paris with her sister’s hot mega rich boss. Wouldn’t you do the same thing? It’s Paris for goodness sake! Abby is not bad. She deserves to live a little. Though somewhat predictable, the two develop feelings, but the truth ruins everything, etc., it’s still an enjoyable delightful read. I like place switching stories. The twins see life through each other’s perspectives, and hopefully, this will cause positive changes. What about Abby and the boss hottie? Will these two work out this huge misunderstanding? Maybe Gabby will take responsibility for herself now. I really enjoyed this story and these characters. It’s well written and snappy with great dialogue and lovely descriptions. Although new to me, I will seek out more from to read from Avery Scott! I like her style!
This one was a fun read. Mistaken identity. The magic of Paris. Finding out what you are capable of. I enjoyed getting to see Paris through Abby’s eyes. And I loved getting to see Abby through Hudson’s eyes, even though she wasn’t who he thought she was.
I had ARC of this book.
As cute as this book was, I wasn’t loving it. Often, I found myself skimming, out of pure boredom. The book just didn’t hold me in as it should have, considering the twin trope it was playing with. The writing was clean and well-polished, but not interesting.
At the core of my dislike for this book, was the characters. Abby should have really told him the truth the second they were getting closer. She was already in Paris, so realistically what would happen? Especially since at this point, she already fixed her original blunders. She should have known that either way, he would be mad at her, but being mad before they get closer would give her a cleaner situation.
Hudson wasn’t the brightest. The signs were there: the confusion over going to Paris, saying she’s never been when she did before leaving, the name in the passport, etc. He had so many signs that he could have questioned, but instead chose to take her half-baked explanations. People don’t typically switch personalities overnight and go from using your credit card to not even knowing she has one.
I’ll leave this review short. All in all, I didn’t wholly enjoy it and found myself wishing it can hurry up.
The Bad Twin by Avery Scott will not disappoint you. This book is about Abby and Hudson. Abby and Gabby are identical twins in looks, but personalities are totally opposite. Abby is the responsible, down to earth twin, and Gabby is the one who lives life to the fullest and does what she wants. Gabby got a personal assistant job because she could speak French. Her boss Hudson, shows up at the house to pick her up for their trip to France, but Gabby is on her way to Mexcio. Hudson thinks Abby is Gabby, so Abby goes along because they need the money to pay the mortgage and other bills. Things do not go smoothly at the business meeting since Abby really has no idea what she is supposed to be doing or has done. However after things go badly, she goes out on her own, to try to make amends or at least get the discussion back on track. In the meantime, Hudson and Abby are able to spend some time together and Hudson sees Paris through Abby’s eyes. What will happen when Hudson finds out that who he thought was Gabby is really Abby? Will Hudson follow his own dreams or keep working for his father? Will Abby land a job or become an artist like she has always wanted? Will Gabby ever grow up and become a little responsible and keep a job? You need to read this to find out. There are some truly swoon worthy moments here. You feel as if you are right there in Paris with Hudson and Abby. Another page turner for me, and I look forward to reading the next Avery Scott book.
Loved the book it was great, the book was well written and the characters were interesting. Abby has a twin sister and always cleaning up after her and going on a work trip with her sister’s boss. From start to finish kept me going.

Abagail and Gabrielle are twin sisters, but that’s where their similarities stop. Abagail is the responsible twin while Gabrielle hops from job to job, or party to party.
When Hudson Quinn shows up to Abby’s house, mistaking her for Gabby, his newly hired assistant, Abby decides to play along. Trying to save her sister’s job and get the money so desperately needed to pay the mortgage on their home, Abby flies to Paris with Hudson, a place she’s always dreamed of visiting.
What happens next is a whirlwind of business mistakes and falling in love. What happens when Paris is over and the two come back to the United States? I guess you’ll have to read to find out!
The story flows nicely and the characters are both likable and relatable. Four star read.
This was a great book and I really enjoyed it. Abby and Gabby, two identical twins, but complete opposites, live together in their grandma’s house. While struggling to pay the bills, Abby gets the chance of a lifetime, only it comes with a big problem…. Her new boss, Hudson, thinks she’s her twin Gabby.
I didn’t hate this book. But I just didn’t love it. I had higher hopes for it. The story was just predictable and bland. And the fact that the sisters were complete, absolute opposites was just annoying.
Abby and Gabrielle Levesque are identical twins….in looks only! In personality, not so much! Abby is level headed, responsible, always taking care of herself and her sister. She makes sure all the bills are paid and that they somehow keep a roof over their head. The twins inherited their grandmother’s house after she passed and it’s become difficult to keep up on payments and keep the utilities on. It’s especially difficult when her sister is so irresponsible. She’s out with a different guy every night, can’t hold a job, and never remembers to pay bills when she’s supposed to. When she blows off yet another job, the consequence is a case of mistaken identity and a spur of the moment trip to Paris by Abby with Gabrielle’s boss!
Hudson Quinn is Gabrielle’s super-hot, super aggravating, billionaire boss. He has no idea he has grabbed the wrong sister and taken her to Paris as his personal assistant. If he finds out the truth, will he fire “Abby”? What will come of the twins and Abby’s ever increasing feelings for Gabrielle’s boss? This is a great story of mistaken identity. It brings the questions “what are you willing to do for money” and “what are you willing to do to save your childhood memories” to light. I loved this story and the characters and settings depicted throughout. I am looking forward to more of Avery Scott’s works!

A great read, I felt I got to know these characters pretty well.
Abby is the responsible twin between her sister Gabrielle and herself, but when Abby is left to cover a trip for her sister, she doesn’t expect Hudson.
I really enjoyed the drama rollercoaster this book took me on. Will be reading more from this author in the future.
The Bad Twin: A Mistaken Identity Billionaire Romance is a great contemporary romance novel from Avery Scott. I had previously read The First Lady and Too Hot To Handle by this author and had loved them both so I had high hopes for this book. Added to the fact that the blurb was just right up my street then there was no way that I was not going to love this book. I’m so glad to say that my gut reaction was correct. I loved this book.
This is the ultimate case of mistaken identity. Abby Levesque lives with her identical twin Gabrielle in their grandmother’s old house which they are at risk of losing. When Gabby’s boss Hudson turns up at their house he mistakes Abby for Gabby and demands that she accompanies him on a work trip to Paris or she will lose her job. What’s a girl to do? Abby goes with him and pretends to be her sister as they really need the money to save their house.
I have to say that I loved both Abby and Hudson. Abby is ‘the good twin’ and just wants to do what’s right to help her family. Hudson just wants his father to be proud of him. I loved the interactions between the 2, especially when Hudson asked questions about their trip which Abby had no clue to the answer as Gabby had been the one who did the organising, so she just looked to be stupid and incompetent.
So what would happen when Hudson finds out that it isn’t his assistant Gabby who has been with him? Especially as he had come to like the version of Gabby he had seen on the trip. I’m not going to spoil that for you, you’ll just have to read The Bad Twin to find out. It won’t disappoint!

When I first started this book I was so excited and got completely invested pretty quick. I truly enjoyed this book and would recommend it. It was a bit predictable and didn’t go as I thought it would but it was a fun story to read.
This is not my first book by this author and as always I enjoy her writing style and her stories always flow smoothly making them really easy to read. This I believe is only my second book ever with the twin mix up and as I said it felt predictable, I really liked Abby and found that I could connect with her, but I never really liked Hudson, I’m not sure if maybe it was just not enough development or what but I just never cared for him all the way through the book.
I really am looking forward to reading more from this author, as stated above, I like her writing style, and so far each book I have read by her has been different and does not follow a common thread each time, which I appreciate.
The Bad Twin by Avery Scott is a fun and sexy read. I have always loved books with a mistaken identity in them and this one was definitely a good one. Avery Scott has created characters that are not only fun and entertaining but ones that are also hot and have great chemistry.
This is the kind of book that you will find yourself reading in one sitting because you just can’t put it down. This author is one that knows how to draw you in immediately and won’t let go. I hated when the book was over because I had enjoyed the story so much. This is one book I can definitely recommend.
This was a feel good book, heartwarming and funny . Abigail has been mistaken for her flighty and glitzy identical twin sister . To save the family home and finances from mass destruction she pretends to be her much more outgoing twin. What ensues is both funny and endearing. The chemistry between her and Hudson is palpable . Their growing feelings for each other captivating to read. As with everything there are a few glitches along the way but the ending is Happy. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I will definitely read more
The Bad Twin: A Mistaken Identity Billionaire Romance by Avery Scott is romance story that is quick and enjoyable read. How can someone be identical in every aspect an yet polar opposites in personality. Mistaken identity leads to a little drama but also a little fun, if only it could last. Will the truth make everything worse and one twin sit up and take notice?
Gabby has always coasted along in life, never putting down roots to anything, just does whatever she wants whenever she wants. Responsibility – what is that?
Abby is the worrier, she is reliable and the grown up and when her sister messes up she steps in to help her out. Only this time the lie could come back to bite her but the one good thing could be that Gabby can see what it is like to walk in her sisters shoes for a while.
As always a delight Avery.

I have read a few books by this author now so when I read the blurb for this book I had no hesitation in jumping straight in and overall I wasn’t disappointed! It had the author’s great writing style which I enjoy and some great characters who I found quite easy to connect with. It might not be my favourite book but her but I would still 100% recommend it!
I loved the setting for the story and thought the author did a great job of really bringing Paris to life through her descriptive writing. I could completely imagine some of the scenes that she was setting. I think the twin switching was probably a little predictable but it was still an enjoyable read. I liked Abby she was the kind of character who is a little naive and actually switching places with her sister did force her out of her comfort zone in some respects. Hudson was what I kind of expected from a sexy, billionaire alpha male character but I still couldn’t help but fall for him! He was definitely a guilty pleasure!
Overall a really nice read, I read it quite quickly as I was completely invested in what I was reading. As mentioned earlier I would definitely recommend this book to other readers!
A wonderful book, loved the characters and how Abby and Hudson clicked instantly. This story had me captive from start to finish. A must read.
