Bachelor Beach was a lot like the Bachelorette TV Show in story in a twisty and much more funny sort of way. This was a bit of a change from past stories by Shari J. Ryan and a welcome change. There’s a lot of mystery going on with Ashley when her brother calls to offer her the use of his house free of charge until the end of his lease. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out what was really going on, but that left things very intriguing. Once she finds out why her brother extended the offer to her, she is in a tail spin to understand what it’s all about. Noah was quite the charmer and what a negotiator! When everything comes out, it all boils down to this statement…..Always read the fine print!!!! A definite cute and quirky story, and great beach read. I can’t wait to find out what guys the other girls in the house find.
Shari nailed it with hilarious look at what people will do for love and money!! It’s a different type story and I’m not sure exactly where I thought it was going but I couldn’t put it down! It’s fun, flirty and hilarious with a mix of seriousness added in! Enjoyable read! Can’t wait for the next book in the series!!
This story had me cracking up and shaking my head at the craziness. I feel for Ash and I would probably disown my brother if I was her. Noah made me swoon and Max made me want to get violent. I will forever read the whole contract when I sign something and the fine print. This book is light hearted, easy to read, and laugh out loud fun.
5 LOVE CONNECTION STARS!! I felt like I was watching an episode of the bachelorette with all the hot guys. Ashley is excited to stay at her brothers place after college, but something is not right with the living arrangements. This story has it all… humor, sexy guys, mystery, sexiness and drama. Shari J. Ryan has gave us another fantastic book, this author can write anything.
**4.5 Stars**
The book started of easy enough: recent college graduate down on her luck and needing a place to stay. Well, that may very well be where easy ended lol. I spent a good portion of this book after that on the edge of my seat wondering what in the world was actualy happening and gasping at some of the people’s behavior in the book. I mean there were some seriously funny moments. It seemed like it was going to be similar to one of the Bachelor or Bachelorette concept type shows… until it wasn’t. I was happy it didn’t follow the cookie cutter format of those kind of shows and that it offered up a twist.
This book had a lot of mystery and intrigue surounding the plot and the people. It was definitely unpredictable, even up to the very end. I am definitely looking forward to reading about what comes next in the second book. If it follows this book, it is sure to be a wild and crazy ride.
Looking for the perfect beach read!?? LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS IT! Its a fun, light, hillarious read. And, it takes place right on a beautiful beach!
This book hooked me right from the beginning and was so hard to put down! Meeting the different bachelors was so funny. Some of the situations had me cracking up in hysterics, some of the bachelors were like something out of a nightmere, some had the most wonderful characteristics – and I hope we see them again in another bachelor beach!! Shari J. Ryan, I WANT MOREEEE!!!
This was such a pleasure to read! It was original, funny and sweet! Ashley has been looking for a job since graduating from college and her brother has a place for her to live for free while she searches for employment. This is where the fun begins. All I can say is read it! You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done
I’m rounding up from 3.5 stars, this story left me with some very mixed reactions. For every thing I liked about the book, there was at least one thing that kind of turned me off. I liked Ashley and I think I can understand what was behind her reactions, but I was very frustrated by the way she behaved so much younger than her actual age. Her family kind of baffled me too. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that she acted like a teenager since they all treated her like a child still. I think my biggest issue was with the supporting cast. It felt like they were supposed to be quirky and funny, but I was left feeling uncomfortable and weirded out by most of them. On the up side, the story made me laugh out loud, a lot. Even though it was a lot like rubbernecking at the scene of an accident where you’re left wondering “oh no, did I really just see that?” However, I am intrigued to see where this is going to go next.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Foreword PR & Marketing.
I’m Ashley Spencer, a college graduate without a job offer. I was days away from becoming homeless. Moving into my parents’ one-bedroom condo in a retirement community was not an option.
In comes my brother, the “hero” with a free ticket to paradise. It almost sounded like a vacation. I didn’t ask questions when that should have been the first thing I did.
If I had, I would have known I was about to step foot into a failing social experiment.
The picture was perfect from the outside—a cluster of beach villas that housed the hottest eligible wealthy bachelors.
Did I mention I’m the first woman to move into their little corner of paradise?
Sounds amazing, right? Who wouldn’t want these men, all foaming at the mouth as you walk by.
They’re lonely, successful, and seem to be looking for a love connection … with me.
The doorbell keeps ringing.
The knocks are incessant.
One of them even brought me a rose.
This is anything but a vacation.
With so many choices and awkward moments, which bachelor is a girl to choose?
This was a fun summer read. There were many lol moments with Ashley, and I enjoyed getting to know more about Noah. Looking forward to the next book.
This was such a fun read. This book has it all…..mystery, intrigue, laughter, humor, love, friendships, awkwardness and relationships!
Imagine finding yourself in a world where every male wants to be around you constantly and are vying for your affection. Well that’s the world that Ashley finds herself in and doesn’t understand why. She meets Noah outside of the community and has an instant connection with him. Friendship starts to grow between the two when Ashley starts to work for him. As the friendship grows into more, Ashley finds out that Noah is part of that secret community. Can the relationship continue to grow and build or will this tear apart what they have begun?
I love Ashley and Noah! I started reading this book a couple of days after having a miscarriage from my very first pregnancy and this book was the perfect distraction! I can not wait to visit Bachelor Beach again, catch up with old friends and make some new ones!
What a great start to The Bachelor Beach series. This is fun, quirky romance that will have you laughing out loud, face palming at times, but definitely swooning as well. Ashley was so disappointed that her dreams after graduating college were not happening for her yet. She didn’t want to move back in with her parents, so when her brother offered her a place to live, she jumped at the chance without all the details. Now she finds herself in a home with unusual roommates, and a beach of sexy men who are all vying for her attention and not necessarily in a non creepy way either. She finds a job outside the community to find some normalcy. She has an immediate connection with her boss, Noah, but he may not be all he seems either. This spin on the reality television show genre is sweet, mysterious, and hilarious. Ryan created a story that intrigues, and beguiles, with fun, quirky characters who will capture your heart. I can’t wait to see where she takes this series next!
So Much Fun I Read It In One Sitting
This was a fun, easy to read book which reminds us that we should always read the fine print. This is something that the book’s heroine, Ashley, and many of her fellow characters neglected to do. They find themselves in an awkward situation where Ashley receives a significant amount of attention from her neighbors and an eyeful from her roommates. As Ashley navigates the craziness that her brother roped her in to, a host of hilarious situations present themselves. I dove into this book without reading the book description and found myself taken off guard as much as the book characters when the strangeness begins to unfold for Ashley. I found this to be highly entertaining and laughed out loud on several occasions. The book is not long, nor is it complex; I was able to read it within a few hours. It was also somewhat predictable, but many books in this genre are and we keep reading them. Every book does not have to be as complex as The Lord of the Rings to be enjoyable. This is a perfect summer beach read about living on the beach. Personally, I am looking forward to the second book in this series to see what ridiculous concepts Ms. Ryan will concoct next!

This book had me laughing my face off at some times. From the psycho on the inside twins to the ten single men who think the world has ended. This book is a refreshing read after reading heavy and emotional books. I am looking forward to see What is next from this amazing series
4 1/2 Stars!
I really liked this one. I loved Ashley. She just graduated from college but she has no job prospects yet. She dreading having to move back in with her parents when her brother calls and offers her to live in his place rent free from six months. She jumps at the chance but doesn’t read the fine print on the lease. She ends up moving into a beachfront villa on Bachelor Beach that has some odd social experiment going on. She shares the villa with Kricket and Krow who are her soon to be sister in laws. Kricket and Krow are a little crazy and don’t make good roommates. Ashley is down to earth and fun. The situation she gets herself into are funny. The whole living situation is weird and odd but it’s also funny. I liked Noah. I wanted to know why he was part of the social experiment. He has layers. He’s a fun character too. I can’t wait to read the next one.
I don’t even know what to say about this book, other than… READ IT. It is so strangely delightful, unique and impossible to put down. The story follows Ashley, a recent college grad who is struggling to find a job. When her brother offers to let her stay at his vacant home (since he’s moving in with his new fiancée), she readily accepts the offer of a free place to live. Unbeknownst to Ashley, the lease agreement she signed is anything but typical, and her brother’s villa is located in a community of bachelors participating in a social experiment no one will explain to her. All she knows is that hot, single men keep following her around, knocking on her door and showing up wherever she goes. It feels distinctly like if The Bachelor were actually some type of horror movie where eligible bachelors will not let their prey out of their sight.
The writing in this is fantastic – the book is hysterical, Ashley’s reactions are 100% relatable and there is a constant sense of unease for both Ashley and the reader – we’re definitely unsure of how we’re supposed to feel about some of the mens’ actions. What are their motivations; can Ashley trust what she’s feeling? It’s such a strange and engrossing romance novel, unlike anything that I’ve read before. While it takes a while for the romance to fully heat up, there was never a time when I was bored or uninterested in moving forward with the story. If this is the start of a new series, I am most definitely excited to read more.

This was a pretty fun read and is just great for a lazy afternoon. The storyline was interesting and while overall it was a really enjoyable read I have to admit that at times I found Ashley to be a little immature other than that this book was great
This one had me laughing so hard people were looking at me like I was cRaZy….
I loved that this one left me not knowing what to expect next. It was funny, maddening and sometimes downright nuts. I can’t wait to see what Shari can possibly think up next.
This cute story will have you caught up in its antics right from the start! I bet Ashely didn’t know what was going to happen when she agreed to take this job. I loved the story line and characters. It is a well written story that not only is descriptive, but it draws you in.

The Bachelor Beach is filled with quirky characters and crazy scenarios. The storyline wasn’t my favorite, but I did like Ashley. I won’t mention who she ends up with, but I really liked him and he made the book worth reading! They were great together and I would love to read more of their story without all of the weird circumstances surrounding them.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary Advance Reader Copy.
3.5 Stars
The Bachelor Beach is the first book in the Love Connection Series. I thought the story was interesting, quirky, and funny. I liked the female lead Ashley, she had no clue what she’d gotten herself into but she handled it the best way she could. I wouldn’t want to be her that’s for sure. As for the other characters they were okay, I just didn’t feel a connection with them, and I didn’t like them much. If you watch shows like Bachelor/Bachelorette then this book is right up your alley.
