This book is unique and a rom com. Ashley Spencer has completed six years of college but is having trouble finding a job.. when her brother offers her a free beachfront villa to stay in she jumps st the chance. What she isnt expecting is twin psycho roommates and ten single men as neighbors.. Then you have the matter of the fine print. Never sign a thing without reading the fine print. So Ashley finds herslef desperate for a job and to stay away from alk her male neighbors This is a strange situation to say the least Your gonna have to read to find out what happens but I really liked it
It is such a enticing book to read that I am jumping to read the 2nd book of the series. Poor Ashley was going out of her mind to understand what was going on, I would be too. Then interacting with Noah and falling fir him after getting to know him and continuing to be 5 months celibate and torturing each other by teasing until the end of the study could definitely be fun. However, her brother has alot to answer for still.

This read like the TV show….the one where they hand out roses. It was ok, but just as predictable as the show. Sorry, but I wanted better.
She was just days from losing her home and she does not want to move back home. Her brother comes up with something, she did not ask questions as she just say yes. Now she is at the beach with many bachelors all looking for someone to love. She is the only woman there. Who will she pick? She how she gets on

This was a very inventive story, unlike any other romance I have read. The characters are great and the storyline is intriguing and hilarious at the same time. You have to read this to believe it. I am looking forward to the next in the series.

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.
The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

The Bachelor Beach, Villa 1 – this is the first of this genre by this author for me. I found the beginning slow and not intriguing enough for me. The story did get interesting after a few chapters with the last part of the book very good. Well written with pretty good storylines, which were an interesting and sometimes, humorous blend from many different sources, including TV programs. The characters ranged from normal to weird to messed up, and many were likeable and believable. I appreciated the military personnel and their families playing good roles in this book. There are sex scenes and some vulgar language, which I skipped or ignored. I contacted the author and received this book through Booksprout 4*
Which path if you had to decide…
A Heart of Time – Oh, my goodness! The depth of emotions that run the gamut in this well written story, along with the storylines make this a hard to put down read. I have not come across a book yet by this author that was not worth reading. The characters are wonderful and have realistic ways of dealing with the cards dealt them. This story is full of love, support and determination just to mention a few of the substance in this second chance story. The good storylines combined with a vivid imagination and descriptions weave a tapestry of love, sacrifices and second chances for several characters. There are sex scenes and some vulgar language, which I skipped or ignored. 5*
Last Words #1 – This is my first read by this author and I find this story is amazing. I’ve read many stories by the survivors of the Holocaust and this is one of the best. Well written but full of emotions and experiences that rip the heart out of a decent person. While the book isn’t as graphic about the horrors of Theresenstadt, there is plenty of the reader to grasp what everyone was going through in that terrible period of time. The four main characters are so loving, so decent, that what happened in the past wastes 75 years of a perfect love. Ms. Ryan has a gift for telling a story full of horror and pain, and yet, lets the light of love shining brightly through the decades. I found this book on Booksprout. 5*
The Other Blue Sky #2 – This is the second of two books of the Surviving the Holocaust series. I highly recommend reading Last Words before reading Blue Sky. Blue will be more meaningful to know the previous generation’s story as well as Annie’s past before Blue. This well written, emotion filled sequel can be read without reading Words first but why?
The storylines continue from Words but focus on Annie, although all the previous family characters are still a large part of this story, too. The emotions are still plentiful and range the gamut. Love is a major character, along with fear. While this book is filled with pain, there is so much love and light that shines through.
The author does a wonderful job with her descriptions and the reader can see the locations and feel the emotions. There are smiles but there is plenty of pain and discoveries in Annie’s life. I contacted the author to review her books and I received this copy through Booksprout. 5*
Shattered Stars – Interesting and intriguing, this is a story of overcoming the bad and living for the good. A horrible rape with a good outcome; a horrible illness with a corrected outcome; and a marriage made up of three wonderful people making the best of the worst. It is too easy to turn this review into a book report but there are so many good elements to this story with a large focus on living with a good attitude for life, not the negativity so common in these types of situations.
A young man with a heart the size of Texas filled with love and determination for a young teenaged mother and her daughter and a life with them. The young woman faces many problems from the age of sixteen, but with the support and love from her mother, good friends and her man, she succeeds against all odds.
The well written storylines alternate between her past and her present with plenty of emotions, drama and love so well described by the author as she unfolds a wonderful story full of good characters and a positive view of life. I contacted the author to review her books and received this book through Booksprout. 4*
3 Cranky Stars
For me, this was a mixed bag of emotions. A very strange concept, I wasn’t sure if I could finish reading it, but something kept me going. There is a strange humour to it too.
Ashley just left college with no job set up which means no money and no flat. Her parents certainly didn’t want her moving back to them as they had just bought a one-bedroom retirement flat. Her brother Bradley came to the rescue, he and his fiancee were moving away for a while so offered Ashley their villa rent-free. He did try and tell her conditions but she was not interested all she could think about was living on the beach in a rent-free villa. The first shock was she was sharing with Katerina (Bradley’s fiancee) twin sisters Kricket and Krow, you can see my apprehension!
The villa is situated in a circle of villas and all the others are occupied by men, young good looking, available men. Weird you say yes I say, but something about this book made me carry on wanting to read it until the end.
A very unusual book that started to become interesting and then I felt it fell flat at the end.
A light, heartfelt and fun read with a unique story line. A nice change from the same old format. The competition between the men makes Ashley attempts to get to know one of the bachelors, not easy. Will these two persevere against all odds? An engaging story that kept me entertained until the end. Highly recommend!!
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Ashley and a group of men that are involved in a social study. She just graduated and her brother offers he a villa rent free, but recommends reading the fine print, which she doesn’t. She moves in with twins that are strange to say the least. She needs a job so she applies at a restaurant near the complex she lives, only to meet Noah. They have a spark and he takes time to get to know Ashley. So when she finds out he’s part of the experiment she’s confused. No one will tell her the rules of the game, not even her brother. Competitive men are hard to deal with.

Ashley is a college graduate with no job lined up and no where to go, other than back home to the parents. That’s when her brother makes an offer she couldn’t refuse. Live in his villa, rent free, for the remainder of the lease. Ashley jumps at the chance and signs the new lease immediately. Only there is a catch….. She didn’t read the fine print….
Dumped into a social experiment, Ashley has no way out since she signed a legally binding contract. She is forced to endure man after man tripping over themselves trying to win her over. A highly entertaining book. I am looking forward to the next in the series.
Such a good read. I thoroughly enjoyed The Bachelor Beach it was well written, easy to read, funny to the extent my family were giving me strange looks while I laughed at my book and it was also original, I haven’t read a book just like it. The book also had me engaged, I couldn’t put it down, which is always the best judge of my enjoyment level.
There are a lot of characters in this book and they are all so different, so many opportunities for further books,. The different characters were one of my favorite things about the book.
I can’t wait for Book 2 in this series, I’m hooked already.
If you’re a fan of reality T.V. you will love this witty, drama filled amazing book.
My first time reading this author and, she definitely had me a few laughs in. I read this thing in a day! That good.
Ashley has no idea that the offer her brother gives her taking over his lease, has some “fine print” she neglected to read! Lol so many lonely bachelors, an insane reality, you can’t miss this enjoyable book.
One of my favorites this year.

I’m a fan of Shari Ryan’s books. But this book wasn’t for me. I loved the concept. Because I love the show on TV so I thought this was going to be a fun read. But for me I just couldn’t connect with the characters or the story. It was funny at times and had me laughing out loud. But it just felt all over the place and I felt if Ashley was educated once she learned something was up she would have done a little more research and not been so oblivious as to what was going on.
Even though this book wasn’t for me. I do look forward to what comes next from Shari Ryan.
There’s romance, emotion, laugh out loud humor, and a well written story line. A good strong main character and it’s easy to get lost in the story. The chemistry and attraction that’s present between the characters just adds to the dynamic of the story. Definitely recommend.

I love the writing of Shari J. Ryan. From her emotional reads to the laugh-out-loud, my stomach hurts so much from laughing reads. The Bachelor Beach was so much fun to read. It was light, full of surprises and funny read.
Ashley is ready for a job and a future after finishing college. But opportunities do not seem to be jumping out at her. So she takes an offer her brother gives her, without reading the fine print. Always read the fine print! Now she finds herself in a very strange situation on the beach with strange neighbors and even stranger roommates. She meets Noah and things may be looking up, but what is really happening? A fun read with lots happening.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
Another hit by Shari J Ryan that is a newer funnier version if the Bachelorette but only she doesn’t know that part yet. She never read the fine print. Ashley didn’t know what she was getting herself into!!! She was smack dab in the middle of a group of seriously sexy, single men that want to woo and seduce her. I enjoyed the humour and the storyline for sure. The men were a bit to much at times and the whole situation a little crazy but I would definitely recommend this book for a fun summer read.
The Bachelor Book 1 The Love Connection Series
Loved! Amazing! Incredible! I had really high hopes for this story and Shari didn’t disappoint! It is very well written! I couldn’t put it down! A funny and very sweet read!
Pick it up! You won’t be disappointed!
The story has it’s funny moments but at the same time, there were times where I was left wondering what the hell was going on. There wasn’t any character I had any animosity with, though I have to admit that the blurb was appealing so it might just not be for me.

Even though I felt like I was on the set of a certain famous dating show, Shari J. Ryan kept the twists and turns coming. From a brother who was acting shady to the twins who were a little on the weird side, I didn’t know where the next curve ball would come from. This book will keep you laughing but will all tug at your heart with a couple of blue balloons.
