My best friend’s kid sister wants me to get her pregnant–the old fashioned way.I’ve looked out for Ariel since she was in pigtails. I took her trick or treating, told off the jerk who dumped her, picked her up from Prom. When she needs my help, I’m there. Only she doesn’t need a ride, a study partner, a new tattoo.Ariel wants me to get her pregnant. The old fashioned way.Three months of trying. … way.
Three months of trying. Then we go back to our lives.
It’s a terrible idea. I should say no. I should convince her to wait for Mr. Right.
But the geeky grad student is sure it’s now or never.
And I’m sure as hell not going to let her find someone else.
The Baby Bargain is a standalone romance with a brooding alpha hero, a feisty math geek heroine, and enough heat to melt your Kindle. Come see why readers say “no one writes broken bad boys like Crystal Kaswell.”

Since finding my 1st Crystal Kaswell book and devouring any others I could find, she has been one of my favorite authors. She has never failed to keep me enamoured from beginning to end and this book was no different.
Ariel has the typical childhood crush on her older brother’s best friend. Chase had always seen Ariel as a little sister, until he didn’t anymore. She asks him to help her get pregnant…but just help finding a guy. Then they both realize that no other guy will do and Chase is her man. The plot twists and turns to keep you sucked in and not wanting to put it down. Can’t wait for her next book!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
After losing her mom at a young age to a genetic form of cancer, Ariel gets the news she’s been dreading.
Knowing she will never be able to have kids once she has her hysterectomy, she makes a plan to have a baby now with her boyfriend Phillip.
Phillip knows all about Ariel’s possible diagnoses but when she informs him she wants a baby now, he tells her he’s not ready and breaks up with her.
Heartbroken but still determined to have a baby, Ariel enlists the help of her brother’s best friend, Chase.
She has been in love with Chase for as long as she can remember but she asks him to find a suitable guy to impregnate her.
None of the guys she goes on dates with feel right and she finally reveals to Chase that it’s him she wants as her baby’s father.
Once pregnant, both of them are too scared to share their real feelings towards each other & when Ariel’s brother Forest finds out, things implode and Chase walks away.
I love a good friends to lovers book.
It’s a horrible situation to be in but both Ariel and Chase have the love and support of their family and friends.
I loved that no matter what Chase was feeling/dealing with he was always there for Ariel.
I really enjoyed this book and didn’t want it to end.
I feel with all the hints that were dropped in this book, the next one will be about Forest and Skye which I’m excited to read about.

Chase has been friends with Ariel’s brother since forever. He always knew she had a schoolgirl crush on him, but she isn’t a schoolgirl anymore. She curvy, beautiful and knows what she wants. When she asks Chase to help her to find someone to father her child, Chase knows this is not a good decision, especially when his friend, Forrest, gets wind of it. But as the plans go awry, and it is no longer just a clinical baby-making act, Ariel puts the brakes on their deal and goes back to clinical. This book has an underlying story of forgiveness and learning to love yourself and accept that you are not responsible for the actions of others. This is the last book in the Inked Heart Series, and that makes me sad , but I am sure that what Ms. Kaswell takes on next, will be just as fantastic. Ms. Kaswell, YOU ROCK!
the book is nicely written. the main characters turn wonderfully around their feelings and that causes comic scenes. altogether well worth reading and from me it gets 4 stars

Such a great book! It was well-written and the plot well-developed. Not a short story however the information provided was quite necessary and captivating – not a dull page in this book. From start to finish I was captivated with the overall quality of this book, the well-detailed emotionally deep story line that has drama, LOL humour, witty banter, and very interesting characters. The love affair that developed between Chase and Ariel is absolutely delicious. Their chemistry is hot and the sex scenes are steamy, off the charts, and well written. The story unfolded quite nicely and I look forward to reading more in this series.

Ariel’s mom died of ovarian cancer, and after finding out she has the same gene, her doctor recommends a hysterectomy. She only has 4 months to try and get pregnant. After her long time boyfriend decides he doesn’t want a child, she goes to her brother’s best friend Chase. The chemistry between the two are explosive and she ends up pregnant. The path to happily ever after will have a lot of bumps. I could not put this book down until I was finished!

What a great story!!! I couldn’t get enough of Chase. As much as he thinks he’s brooding, miserable, he was thoughtful, tender, loving, and supportive. Ariel is Chase’s best friends’s little sister and she needs help. Having lost her mother at a young age she is determined to have what she wants in life before having to take life changing action. She thought it would all work but her long-term boyfriend decided her choice was not what he wanted. Now she has to find someone to help and she wants Chase. He agrees and the steam is off the charts. This is just a friend helping a friend or so they planned, but family, friends and their hearts get in the way. I loved this book and Chase and Ariel’s road to their HEA. I’m hoping we get Forest and Skye’s book very soon!!!
Prepare to fall in love with yet another Inked Hearts awesome couple
The Baby Bargain by Crystal Kaswell is another fantastic Inked Hearts book with lots of emotion, engaging, caring and fun-loving characters, sexy banter, quick and teasing wit, and so much more! I absolutely fell for these characters, Ariel and Chase. Their backstories and story arcs are complicated and deep. I couldn’t help hoping they both got all the goodness they deserved, making this book a page turner for me.
What I most enjoyed about the plot of this book is the need/reason for the baby making. Not only is it so much fun, demanding, sexy and explosively steamy; but it’s a real need for Ariel. Chase is the perfect alpha for the job which really wasn’t a job at all. Both have serious and complicated issues/emotions to work on which just rounds the book out, adding to the overall emotional depth.
All in all, a great book with an awesome couple that has captured my heart.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
This book blew me away! I was totally not expecting the reason she wanted to have a baby so soon. Ariel is socially awkward but smart, strong, and determined to have a baby. Chase is her brothers best friend and is a complete mess even though he is sweet, smart, and sexy as all get out. She asks him to help her and their chemistry is so strong, their story so well written with tons of emotions that you can feel pulling you in. A must read story.

I think this is one of my favorite books I’ve read in this series. A well written storyline that deals with some emotional life changing issues and characters that are easy to fall in love with — from Ariel’s quirky, sassy and determined attitude to the brooding, grumpy and miserable Chase, who’s really a great guy. His only flaw he wants to help and save those he loves but learns that ‘they need to save themselves ‘. This has lots of emotions from guilt, heartache, humor, passion and a deep love that envelops these two. I loved it, it’s one of those books that you can’t put down.

The Baby Bargain is the eighth book in the Inked Hearts series by Crystal Kaswell. Like all of the books in the series, this one features amazing characters and a fantastic story. I absolutely loved it.
We have the best friend’s brother element, the secret relationship and the whole let’s have a baby plot here. The story is entertaining and well done. It is funny, sexy, sweet and perfect for this group of characters. I want more from this series.
I love Chase and Ariel. He is that sexy tattoo artist that is just a tad haunted by his past. Like Ariel, you just want to hold him and make it all better…. then beg for his baby. Ariel knows what she wants and is going to get it. She might be scared of certain things that are in play, but it’s not going to hold her back. She’s her own brand of bad@$$. Together they are adorable, hot and fun.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
A best friend sister romance read that does not disappoint. Ariel and Chase’s relationship was sweet and I loved how their friendship heighten their chemistry. Great storyline, sizzling heat and an outstanding secondary characters made this last book in the series an enjoyable read that will leave you with a lasting impression.
I don’t see any other way for Crystal Kaswell to have ended this fantastic series. Chase and Ariel are perfect for each other, and they bring out so many emotions as they find the love they’ve both been needing for so long. I love the transformations they each make, not for each other, but because of each other. Their need to do and be better people for themselves, to be stronger together, is everything. I love seeing their relationship develop, as well as the healing of other relationships and issues they’re both facing. Crystal Kaswell brings the laughter, the tears, the heat and of course – the HEA. I’m so bummed that it’s the end of the Inked Hearts crew – but look forward to cameos from them in other books – and hopefully bonus scenes or sequels in the future!! Highly recommend this book and the entire Inked Hearts series!!
Hate to see this series end, but what a way to go! Chase and Ariel were everything! Both are broken from past relationships and family issues, but together they get over most of that and are able to move forward. So many emotions in this book! Crystal’s books are always must reads for me and I was not dissappointed in this one! Looking forward to the beginnig of the next series this fall!
We all have that happy sigh, deep inhale through your nose and when you exhale you can’t help but hum, and it’s all because this book is so sweet. Everything was perfect.

Naughty meets nice and sparks fly. Kaswell has no problem when it comes to delivering the 3 H’s (humor, heart and heat). Ariel give romance their own special blend of spice and angst. She’s a spirited woman with more than just equations on her mind. He’s the edgy, bad boy with more heart than he likes to reveal. The Baby Bargain is perfectly, imperfect fun.
The Baby Bargain is the story about Chase and Ariel’s love story and the start of Inked Love. The second tattoo shop in the stories about the hot broken men who tattoo. Ariel is the sister of one of the guys. She had lost her mom to cancer but when she finds out she carries the gene she decides she wants to have a baby before it is to late. The problem is her boyfriend isn’t there when she asks him to be the baby daddy. She can’t tell her family so she reaches out to her brothers best friend for help. It doesn’t hurt he is over 6 ft tall and built like a god. But like all the rest of the guys, he has been hurt and afraid to open up. This is a great addition to the Inked books.

Totally stole my heart!
Ariel and Chase stole my heart from the very beginning.
Chase is the older brother’s best friend who is protective and has always been there.
Ariel is the geek who holds his heart even when he doesn’t realize or want to acknowledge it!
The twists and turns of this story had me laugh, gasping, and shedding tears. Such a perfect addition to the Inked Heart seires. This book is a great stand alone story but if you love it I can guarantee that you will the rest of the gang!
Ariel wants a baby and thought her boyfriend of 3 years would agree but he wasn’t ready for that. Enter Chase, a close family friend. He’s always wanting to help people but will he agree to help Ariel get pregnant, the old fashioned way? It’s only 3 months to try and get pregnant then back to their own lives. He knows he should say no and convince her to find Mr. Right but he also realizes he doesn’t want her to find someone else. A great story line, wonderful characters and an enjoyable read.

Book eight in the Inked Hearts series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Told in dual POV with HEA. Each book in the series is about a different tattoo artist in the Inked Hearts tattoo shop. What I love best about Crystal Kaswell books is the characters are broken and real, and deal with real life problems, but written in a way that does not make the book “heavy”, the theme is still about friendships and falling in love. Tattoo artist Chase has “mommy issues”, a “martyr complex” and believes people are better off without him. His best friend’s little sister Ariel’s “clocks ticking” and has just been dumped by her long-term boyfriend. I really liked Ariel’s geeky lack of social filter that allowed her to speak her thoughts truthfully. She is just the person to help Chase “get over himself”. Not too much angst, or drama and plenty of character development and sweet steaminess!! I always love Crystal Kaswell’s epilogues because she continues to keep it real and not sugar coat! I loved it, it is one of my favorites and I highly recommend!
