My best friend’s kid sister wants me to get her pregnant–the old fashioned way.I’ve looked out for Ariel since she was in pigtails. I took her trick or treating, told off the jerk who dumped her, picked her up from Prom. When she needs my help, I’m there. Only she doesn’t need a ride, a study partner, a new tattoo.Ariel wants me to get her pregnant. The old fashioned way.Three months of trying. … way.
Three months of trying. Then we go back to our lives.
It’s a terrible idea. I should say no. I should convince her to wait for Mr. Right.
But the geeky grad student is sure it’s now or never.
And I’m sure as hell not going to let her find someone else.
The Baby Bargain is a standalone romance with a brooding alpha hero, a feisty math geek heroine, and enough heat to melt your Kindle. Come see why readers say “no one writes broken bad boys like Crystal Kaswell.”

An amazing emotional best friend bother romance. This well written connection between these two characters was just so perfectly described and felt they needed each in ways that bettered themselves it was amazing, they were perfect for each other. The journey to that discovery was emotional, intoxicating, sexy making for such an addicting read and addition to the inked series. This standalone is a hot sexy must read. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC and definitely will be making sure i haven’t missed and of the other inked series standalones.

The Baby Bargain is number 8 in the Inked Hearts collection! The book was beautifully written and has all of the wonderful things we love about the Inked Hearts world. It was great to finally have Chase’s story. Ariel is wonderful and is the perfect match for Chase. I connected with Ariel in some ways, but not in others. Chase is a total heartthrob! So well done! I love books by Crystal Kaswell!!! I can’t wait for more!

I read and reviewed this book voluntarily.
I loved this book.
Ariel discovers that she is a carrier for the same cancer that took her mother. Her doctor recommends an immediate hysterectomy and double mastectomy.
Ariel has one thing she needs or wants before doing it… a baby.
Chase is Ariels brother Forest’s best friend. Ariel asks him for his help fi dong the right guy to be baby daddy but not involved, after her boyfriend and she broke up because he decided he did not want a kid.
Chase agrees to help her. After narrowing the field none of the guys seem right. She wants it to be Chase, so she asks. He wants to be the guy. But can they do this without falling and without Forest freaking out? And will Chase be able to get his head on straight?
I could say so much more but I do not want to give anything away.
Oh my goodness!! I’ve been waiting for Chase for a while and I was not disappointed. I loved getting into his head, digging in to what makes him tick. And his connection with Ariel… perfection. I loved how the story progressed, I loved the bits from the other guys and how real their issues are, the emotions and heart. This story has a great mix of everything and makes me love it even more. It’s a must read.

If you have been waiting for Chase’s story, wait no more. Chase and Ariel are here and this one has a few tropes. Baby (although a planned one), best friend’s sister, and the real life things that Crystal Kaswell always writes into her books.
Although this book moved slow at first for me, typical to this series, it’s picks up and gets good. As Chase and Ariel struggle through their decision and feelings, you get to catch up with the previous Inked Hearts characters and are introduced to a couple new ones. Maybe the lead in for another series? As she’s done in her past books, this one deals with a potentially hard situation. Although the characters, obviously, handle things differently than in real life, I love that she brings real world situations into her books.

Ariel’s childbearing years have to be shortened, thanks to her finding out she carries the same gene that killed her mother. She wants to have kids and she wants to have them now. Who better to ask to help her find a donor, than her and her brother’s friend, Chase? Except the longer Chase helps, the more the attraction between him and Ariel flares up, and soon they’re thinking they might want to have those kids the old fashioned way. Hmm…
On the surface of it, it sounds like a bad idea. But it could end up being the best thing that happened to either of them. IF Chase can get over his savior/martyr complex and fix what’s wrong within himself that ruin his important relationships.
I fell in love with Chase, not gonna lie. I wasn’t sure I would like him at first, considering that in the rest of the Inked Hearts series, he’s a less than likable character. But here in his own story, he’s is the absolute star. I love how he loves Ariel and how perfect they are for each other. Can’t wait for more of these tattoo artists and the women they love!
Krystal Caswell never disappoints and in The Baby Bargain, she delivers the conclusion to the Inked Hearts series with a sweet and poignant story of true love born of hurt and self-recrimination. Chase Keating is frozen in time, still trying to save his ex-fiancée, Grace, from her mental illness, his brother, Hunter, from alcohol, and his mother from her path of self-destruction. Terribly conflicted, he truly believes he’s a failure and undeserving of any happiness. Arial Ballard is desperate. Her mother died of breast cancer and she carries the gene that, in all likelihood, dooms her to the same battle. Her oncologist wants to do surgery right away, but Arial needs to wait. She wants nothing more than to be a mother and now she’s in a race against time. When her fiancé tells her he’s not ready to be a father and breaks up with her, she’s devastated. Four months is all she has to find someone to get her pregnant and she turns to her childhood crush, Chase, to help her search for the right man. Right man? He realizes that he wants to be the right man, but she deserves better. Together, they grow into two better versions of themselves, thanks to their mutual love and desire for happiness. A beautiful ending and an epilogue that puts the icing on the cake!
The Baby Bargain by Crystal Kaswell, was a well written book with some really intriguing characters and a story that touches on a bit of everything, starting with a feisty math geek and a hot and troubled hero. These two have some real steam between them and that is just the start of a really intriguing storyline. I really enjoyed this story and will definitely be reading more from this author. As the author says in the book things are done a little backwards in this story but it is a totally captivating charmer. Ms Lennox continues to write winningly about issues that dig deep into the main characters’ motivations. Read and enjoy!

Ariel learns she is a carrier of the same gene that killed her mother. Ariel has a small window to have a child of her own before she must have a hysterectomy and a mastectomy. Ariel tells her boyfriend of her plans, but he has changed his mind about having kids and they break-up. Ariel enlists the aid of her friend and her brother’s best friend, Chase, to help her find a guy who will help her get pregnant and walk away. Chase has so many issues; he is still hung up on his ex, can’t forgive his brother for lying to him about his drinking, and giving his mother an ultimatum of quick drinking or lose the family. Ariel realizes after a few meetings with potential baby daddies that she wants Chase to be the father of her child. Ariel has crushed on Chase for years but believes she can guard her heart against Chase and the feelings she has for him. For the first time in two years, Chase finds himself attracted to a woman, Ariel. Chase finds he is jealous of the men Ariel has chosen as potential fathers for her child. When Ariel proposes Chase father her child, Chase knows he should say no but agrees to do it. What happens when feelings get involved and harder to ignore? Can Chase overcome his issues and be the man Ariel and the baby need? Can Chase learn that he can’t save everyone? What happens when Ariel’s brother, Forest, learns about Chase and Ariel? Can Ariel forgive Chase for backing away from her? I LOVE Crystal Kaswell! I absolutely loved The Baby Bargain by Crystal Kaswell. The chemistry between Ariel and Chase is smoking HOT! The Baby Bargain is an amazing story with great characters and full of laughter, tatted alpha males, strong women, dependencies, mental health issues, steamy chemistry, and lots of love. Crystal Kaswell is a must read author. I would highly recommend getting The Baby Bargain and any other book by Crystal Kaswell. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
Smart and sexy love story hits the spot!
This story starts as a brother’s best friend romance, except that Chase and Ariel embark on a sex-only endeavor solely for one time-sensitive purpose. This is so much more than a friends-with-benefits story where the couple starts to grow feelings; this emotionally-complex tale addresses deep-seated relationship and family issues before either Chase or Ariel is ready to commit to their future.
I connected with these characters right away, and could feel their conflicts and insecurities throughout. The writing was equally sexy and angsty, and saw Chase facing his demons while Ariel faced her fears. The story also incorporates all of the previous Inked Hearts couples – some more than others – and the beautiful epilogue perfectly completes this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
As usual, Crystal Kaswell has brought the heat as well as the angst. Chase and Ariel have known each other forever, which is about as long as Ariel has had a crush on her older brother’s best friend. Now, at age 24 Ariel has discovered that it is now or never for her to have a child and that it’s a matter of life and death that she not delay it. What’s a girl to do? She asks her friend Chase to help her find a baby daddy. Chase doesn’t want to do it then he really doesn’t want to when he sees her with potential candidates. What’s a guy to do? Agree to become said baby Daddy himself…with a few rules, of course.

Crystal Kaswell’s newest Inked Hearts story features a new, possibly even more broody leading man. But the extra brooding comes with a pretty big heart even if it is a bit damaged.
Chase and Ariel were interesting well written characters. I instantly liked Ariel, and I really felt for what she was dealing with. Chase wasn’t an instant connection for me, but I think that’s more so because I read Hunter’s book already and loved him. So it was hard for me with Chase and Hunter’s relationship in the beginning of this book. But the more I read, the more I warmed up to him.
As always, I loved the emotion in this book. The different challenges that these characters faced and the different ways they has to work though their issues. I always feel like I’m getting a fresh story when I’m reading a book by Crystal Kaswell. This one was no different.
The story of Ariel and Chase is very well written. The story moves smoothly despite the many pitfalls Chase brings to the landscape. I really like Ariel. She is one of my favorite characters from this series. Getting to know Chase is interesting and even eye opening. A very solid story and one of my favorite tropes.

Another great story from Crystal’s Inked Hearts series. I think I have lost count of all the books in this series and like Ariel in this one I think I might go back and draw up a diagram of all the couples so I can remember who goes with who! However each story is different and this one again has a completely different theme.
Ariel has four months to get pregnant before she has to have aggressive surgery to try and stop her dying from the same genetic disease that killed her mother. The problem is that on hearing the news her fiance admits that he doesn’t want to be a father so the future that Ariel saw for herself was not going to happen.
Ariel has to find a baby daddy quickly and her thoughts turn to Chase, her brother’s best friend. Chase has always been her friend and now offers to help her find a suitable candidate from a dating site. As they check out the guys who are offering to help, Ariel realizes that the baby daddy she really wants is Chase and is surprised when he agrees.
When Ariel actually becomes pregnant Chase wonders if he can pull this off and become a daddy, but first he had to fight the demons from his past that make him afraid to get close to anyone. Ariel knows that Chase is an amazing guy but she just has to help him to believe it.
Crystal has written a great story about overcoming your past and believing in yourself and your future. I definitely recommend this book, and the others in this series.
Chase has known Ariel for years. Her brother is his best friend. He’s always treated her like a little sister. Fast forward to now and Ariel is asking Chase for help. However it’s not help for something every day. She wants to get pregnant, and she wants Chase to help her. It’s supposed to be clinical, there aren’t supposed to be emotions involved. As the two spend more time together, that line gets blurry, and their feelings get harder to ignore. The problem is, nobody but the two of them know what is going on, can the two handle the repercussions when Ariel’s family finds out?
Crystal Kaswell writes some of my favorite books. The tattooed bad boy and the ‘innocent’ girl just sucks me in! This book was no exception. I loved watching Chase bring Ariel out of her shell, but I also loved watching Ariel help Chase realize he can’t save everyone! These two were one of my favorite couplings from the Inked Hearts world. I love that Crystal writes so descriptively, I can imagine what is happening in my head. I also love that she doesn’t shy away from tougher topics in any of her books! Another absolutely amazing thing about any book that Crystal writes is that we get to revisit characters from previous books and see different sides of their relationships with each other through the different characters! Overall I highly recommend this book to anybody that loves watching a bad boy be brought to his knees!!
The Baby Bargain by Crystal Kaswell is the story of Chase and Ariel.
Chase is Ariel’s brother best friend, but he has been her friend too. Chase has always helped her when she is in need and been there for her. Both of them have some tragedy in their past that sets their future. Ariel’s in a timeline of when she feels she can get pregnant and be a mom. So when her current boyfriend freaks out and leaves she turns to Chase. Chase isn’t sure at first but he has always had a soft spot for Ariel which has only grown and now with this need she has only intensified it.
Emotional hot Story! Loved it.
A very poignant story line. Two very delicate issues were detailed, yet the material was sensitively presented. This reader gained insight on these issues as a result of reading Ms. Kaswell’s story. Once again, the characterizations in this tale, as with all the novels from this series, were all very well described, with some characters evidencing positive growth. The setting of the story is the same as with all the previous novels in this series. This continuity of the same environment and previous characters, allows Ms. Kaswell to bring forward characters from other books and update the reader on the happenings in everyone’s lives. Doing this enhances the experience for the reader by broadening the scope of the story line and augmenting previous tales. Strong familial bonds, as well as great camaraderie amongst friends, really enriches the story and adds another level of believably to the tale.
Well worth the time to read.

The best way of getting over someone is getting under someone else, so it’s said. It was even mentioned in this story. This one had a little of everything: childhood crush coming to light, a expiration date, maybe a little forbidden-ness. It was fun reading about Ariel and Chase fighting feelings and making a connection of just being in the act. It was hot, but I really enjoyed their emotional connection more.
