A gorgeous regency romance story by Jillian Eaton. I loved Kitty and how she grabbed life with both hands and went after her Duke so outrageously. Byron was the classic damaged Duke and it was a delight to watch him unfold in Kitty’s hands. A very witty and fun read.
Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

I loved this book but Jillian Eaton took me through quite a few emotions (which she is very good at doing); some good, some bad & some sad but in the end I felt happy for this great couple!
Lady Katherine “Kitty” Dower – I didn’t like the conceited, self-centered lady with her very long list of requirements she must have for a husband. She loves to have a good time, shopping, flirting with the many young men that were attempting approval & none could ever meet her requirements. Until, she met the handsome Byron Johnson, Duke of Wakefield & he filled all her check boxes on the list, in fact even more because she never listed love.
Byron Johnson, Duke of Wakefield – I felt so horrible for Byron from the beginning after his monster of a fathers treated him so badly – both emotionally & physically. I sympathized with his vow at his father’s funeral to never love, marry or have a heir to further the Wakefield dukedom.
Byron & Kitty were strange bedfellows & the change they both had to go through was amazing. A happily ever after was attained but not without a bumpy road. I really enjoyed all the humor & kindness Kitty’s Aunt Tabitha & Byron’s 3 sisters; Mary, Madeline, and Margaret brought to the book.
I highly recommend this read to all historical romance readers – it leaves you with a smile & a warm fuzzy!
My very favorite trope of the damaged hero and the woman who can bring him back to life. Jillian Eaton has penned another stellar tale that pulled at my heart and even after turning the last page, I still have a smile on my face.
Byron, the Duke of Wakefield had not desire to marry because his father had shown him just how it would be. But Lady Kitty Dower had other ideas and wants Byron for her husband. He exhibits everything she wants but he is going to be a challenge.
Well Kitty is up to the challange and with her fiery, spirited attitude she is determined. Can Byron resist the charming Kitty?
Great story and not to be missed.

The good storyline and the wonderful characters made this book a very enjoyable and entertaining read!
Silly and serious together.
I went from reading some very serious pieces to this sexy and fun read. I loved Kitty she is such a lovable character and Byron trying to elude but dude you are going to get caught in the spider’s web. As fun as this book was there are moments where there are serious issues that come to light and that need to be addressed. I loved the book and I highly recommend it. A short quick story to read it is well written with a very good storyline. I enjoyed reading and seeing how Lady Katherine “Kitty” Dower and Byron the Duke of Wakefield’s story there where a couple of discrepancy but they do not distract from the story. I enjoyed reading this book. This is the fourth book in the A Duke for All Seasons series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Not quite what I have come to expect from Ms. Eaton but once I got past my initial uncomfortableness with Kitty’s behavior I found I enjoyed it a lot. Kitty is somewhat of a free spirit during a time of stuffy morality while still managing to remain innocent. (Sort of like a virginal sixties hippie.) She knocks Byron completely off-kilter and that was exactly what he needed to open his mind and heart to the realization that just because his father was a cruel sadistic man did not mean that he was destined to be the same type of person.
A refreshing new look at that period in time where not every young woman was willing to stay in the mold set out for them but some were willing to break that same mold in order to find happiness!

Kitty was vain, confident, and extremely bold in her pursuit of the unattainable Duke of Wakefield. Byron vowed not to marry and sire heirs after his father’s brutal treatment of him. He was attracted to Kitty from their first meeting, but her actions chasing after him were of a loose woman rather than a debutant. This was a sexy, funny, and at times over the top Regency romance.
Kitty is over the top but is very lovable. A fun read that is flirty, fun and sexy. And who likes a stuffy duke? Everyone. Byron trying to elude Kitty and Kitty trying to keep up is like a madcap comedy. Very cute and not to be taken too seriously.
