She wants her planet back…
…But all he wants is her.
Forced to become a monster to survive her father’s cruelties, Saria wants only one thing: To convince the Arcav King to help her lead her people out of the darkness and into the light. She has no intention of mating anyone. Least of all Roax- the bossy bodyguard who the Arcav King ordered to be her shadow. As an Arcav Captain, Roax never … bossy bodyguard who the Arcav King ordered to be her shadow.
As an Arcav Captain, Roax never wanted to be saddled with the spoiled (and evil) Lahmu Queen. He’s heard more than enough about her wicked ways, even if her sad eyes make him itch to uncover her secrets.
As their chemistry grows hotter, and danger appears around every corner, Roax vows to protect the broken Queen with his last breath.
But his Queen is hiding secrets. The kind of secrets that may just tear them apart.
The Arcav Captain’s Queen is a full-length romance with no cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA. It’s best enjoyed after reading the first six books in the series.
Read it now.

Saria was one of the most cold unfeeling characters but it turns out she as more heart bravery and true kindness hidden beneath her rough exterior. I loved every bit of this book!
I can read another 1000 pages of Saria and Roax’s story! I loved it so much! Man it was so good! I want to keep reading about what happens! The rebuilding! Everything! I also want to know more about the Dragons and Marcela! Any relation? Or is the color just a coincidence? So many questions I have but I am excited about the next book! But man this was so good! Hope is just hitting home runs with these stories!
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. This story with Roax and Saria, Roax is an Arcav Captain and Saria had a horrible past and does not trust easy, but they learn things about each other. It was hot and steamy with emotions that makes you want more.

Th Arcav are an automatic read to me and I have all the series in my collection. I loved reading them even this story where a Lahmu, not a human, is the female lead.
This explicitly shows never to judge a book by its covers. The Lahmu Queen is quite an unexpected package and it seems like the Arcav has good instincts when it comes to their mate.

Another installment in a fantastic series. The plot is great, and the characters are wonderful together. Every book in this series has been brilliant, although not necessary to enjoy this book I do recommend reading this series from the beginning as each book is awesome.

This book has been crying in many parts because of how unfair life has been to the characters. Still I am reminded of a wise lesson from a friend.
A sheep standing in a field looks down at its feet can see both the mud and grass. It can focus on the mud and lament on how dirty its surrounding is, or focus on the grass and be happy to be fed.

Wonderful story, from the previous book I didn’t like the Lahmu Princess Saria but in this story we begin to understand why she acts like she does. Roax, Arcav Captain is assigned to guard her during her stay on Arcavia and at first he resents being her bodyguard but the more he is around her he discovers she is his mate. Saria doesn’t want a mate she wants to return home to help her people along with the Arcav’s help to defeat the Grivath. The personal battle between Saria and Roax begins on who will get what they desire as these two fight it out in this romantic story. I volunteer to read and review this ARC via booksprout.
Saria moves to center stage
Readers met Saria in Meghan and Methi’s story, and while that isn’t required reading coming into this story, it provides depth to the backstory touched on here, and brings to life a lot of the emotional baggage Saria carries.
In some ways, Roax is a lot like his fellow Arcav, fiercely protective topping the list of descriptors. When Saria needs to visit Brin for some medical care we get some of our best insights into Roax, the man who, when you pay attention to his words, is determined to protect the ones he loves, in every way possible.

This book was totally awesome. I loved the characters of Saria and Roax. Arcav males are all alphas but they seem to meet their match with their human females. Saria finally escapes her miserable past and flees her home planet and heads home to reclaim her throne and help her people. Roax is ordered by his King to safeguard Saria as his personal bodyguard. I read this book in one sitting. Didn’t want to put it down it was so good. Can’t wait for the next book. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Saria and Roax play a game of cat and mouse with each other, both testing the other for weakness, all the while trying to ignore the growing chemistry between them.
Saria has escaped her home world and is seeking an alliance with Arcavia to head back home and reclaim her throne and provide for her people. Roax has been ordered by his King to be her personal bodyguard a job he both hates and secretly loves as he gets to be close to Saria.
I read the story in one sitting it is filled with betrayal, love, hate, redemption, forgiveness and a lot of heat. While Saria and Roax first started off combative they soon realize that there is a lot more to the other besides their public persona.
Once they let their guards down and lets the other person in things heat up in an out of the sheets. Saria has had to contend with a royal court that would eat you up and spit you out at the first sign of weakness her entire life and Roax has to go against his need to protect and care for his woman knowing that she is able to defend herself still doesn’t stop his protective instincts.
Thankfully there is minimal angst and these two are able to communicate as adults and get past their differences and tackle the real enemy together.
One of their hopeful allies is a dragon race and as they say I’m all in on finding out what happens next.
There are a few typos but nothing too much to take you out of the scene. The story moves at a nice pace without too much filler and you are more than primed for what comes next.

Roax, an Arcav Captain, never wanted to be stuck protecting the female, Saria. The reader can see his disdain for her when he enters her locked room and can hear his blatant disrespect in the way he addresses her when he hears her in the bathroom getting sick. He doesn’t know her secrets and what inner torments caused her such pain. She does her best to ignore him.
But for now, what Saria wants to do is convince the Arcav King Varian to help her people on Huldra, her home planet, where they live in the darkness of the mountain now because of her father. Her plan is to negotiate with the Dragon King, make restitution for her father’s waging war on them, and attempt to convince him to help protect Huldra from the Grivath her father is trying to negotiate with to set up a base — which she says could endanger Arcavia. She asks for a ship and some Arcav to show the dragons she has the Arcav support. Unfortunately, Varian says no, he could not provide a ship for 42 days. Saria is not at all pleased and tells him if he does not provide the ship by then, she will leave anyway. To her dismay, Varian assigns the rude Roax as her new bodyguard!
Watching the interaction between Roax and Saria is entertaining with their ongoing hostilities. Will Roax eventually see Saria’s intentions for her people and earn her trust? There is much action and intrigue in this story, so grab your copy and see if they can sort everything out without bloodshed.
