Why was finding a Daddy to meet his needs so hard? Could a kink app be the answer to what was missing from Scott’s life?Scott Rainsford is a gentle soul, friendly and hard working. He loves his job as a waiter in the critically acclaimed restaurant La Trattoria Di Amore. On the outside his life looks perfect, but Scott is lonely and craves to meet the one person that will give him what he needs.… he needs.
Can The App be the answer?
The App offers Scott the freedom to search for the Daddy he has always dreamed of.
It also gives Scott the choice to choose the one man he’d never have expected to want to be his Daddy.
But nothing is simple, a first time Daddy, a broken lift, a phobia and past mistakes make for the perfect stormy start. Can two men, who seem worlds apart, go from enemies to lovers, and meet in the middle?
This is an MM gay romance with Daddy kink, spanking and enough steam to strip paint from wood. With two men that are too complicated for just one book. Warning this book is an HFN.

Scott and his search for a Daddy (an audio review)
Ah, poor Scott. He has a good job. He has loving parents. He has decent friends. What he doesn’t have is someone to love. Someone to love him. Someone who will treat him with respect. Someone who will nurture and love him. Someone to be his Daddy.
There are plenty of Daddy kink books out there, and this one fits in nicely. It’s part of the Playroom world which I love, so that was a bonus.
I empathized with Scott. Oh, I’m not looking for a Daddy, but I do understand the desire to not be alone. Have I looked at apps? Sure. Not like the one Scott downloads, though. With encouragement, he puts up a profile and finds several Daddies to reach out to. One hits all the right notes and after extensive discussions and negotiations, Scott agrees to meet Daddy L at a hotel.
Now, there is one man who makes Scott’s life miserable and that would be Luke. I think you can see where this is going. So when they wind up in a lift together, the pieces start to fall into place and the men realize they’ve been communicating with each other. So is the online attraction enough to overcome their real-life animosity?
Well, when the elevator breaks down and the men are forced to spend several hours together, things get interesting.
I’ll leave my review at that. The book definitely has an HFN and I know there’s a subsequent book and I’m heading that way now. I’ll also mention Matt Haynes who is a good narrator who is doing well in Ms. Sayle’s world. Off to the next…
What we all need Daddy kink.
This is a nice quick read with a. HEA.
Not heavy on the kink, a great light read, good main characters.
We worth the read.
The beginnings of love
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book but after reading it I want to see more Scott and Luke. Their relationship is going to be hot, sweet and I bet with Scott, a little bratty. They both have lots of surprises in store for the other and I can’t wait to see how they unravel.
Sometimes my curiosity gets the better of me, when the guys at work were quietly checking out their phones I just had to know what they were up to, they introduced me to The App, a kinky hook sight. With much deliberation and a little help from my friends I messaged a few Doms but DaddyL was the one that drew me in, as his SassyS we just hit it off, now I finially get to meet him and see if spending time together can be so much more enjoyable than just messaging. Really enjoyed this fast paced well written book what a fun read!
Such a sweet loving soul.
Scott is amazing, a beautiful character. You’ll want to cuddle him!
Luke is a complicated person. He decided to be honest with himself and it isn’t always easy. At the end of the book I love him!
As usual it’s well written and the sex scene is scorching hot!!!
Cute, quick read with some major steam. It’s just the start of a relationship with a HFN. Basically how they met and their first date. I will definitely read the next one which is out already as I’m writing this. Its called Always More: Flamingo Bar #1. If I had read this when it first came out I prob would have rated just a 4 cause I hate cliffhangers and waiting but seeing the follow up is out and I don’t have to wait it’s a 5.
Immediately after reading I listened to the Audible version and even a 2nd time I loved it. Though I would rate the narrator just a 3. He has a very sexy English accent that’s pleasing to listen to but he doesn’t differentiate the voices very much to be obvious, so it’s confusing at times.
The App: Daddy Kink by JP Sayle. I am on the fence on how I feel about this book. I think I would like to see where this story goes in the future, not sure how I feel about the ending. I did know it was HFN just sometimes you still just are not prepared for it.
Scott is a gentle soul. Friendly and hard working. Loves his job, but he is lonely and craves the one person to give him what he needs.
Daddy L or Luke. New to being a daddy. Straight to the point. This can sometimes come off as cold to me. I get he is new, but I felt he could warmer personality.
I liked the use of the App. That was a very modern take on getting to know someone in a more personal way. I would like to see where this story goes in the future right now though, I am on the fence I sorta like this one and sort do not.
