The flesh and blood Paul, apostle to the Gentiles, does not get lost in the meticulous research. It reads like a novel in search of a biography.

The historical location setting and current events metioned of the time werre a great help in grasping the circumstances of Paul’s life and ministry. even the parts that must necessarily be conjecture fit the story. Most enjoyable!
I feel that I understand so much better just who the Apostle Paul was. It made him come to life for me, and I admire him so much more than I ever have before.
If you are a person who wants more understanding about Paul, then this is the book for you.
I am only part way into this book. It’s a little slow reading but enjoyable.
Paul was a person who demonstrated that God can change anyone and wants to save everyone and can use the most unlikely individuals in His plan for the world. This certainly came out in this book.

I enjoy how the book gave a living perspective to the life of the great apostle, and after reading it I felt like I knew Paul in a more personal way.
