Falling in love with a prince wasn’t something I planned . . .When I reconnected with the first guy I ever kissed, I never dreamed I’d end up moving to England to be closer to him. But Nicky and I are in love, and living together was the next logical step. If I thought dating royalty was a tough gig when I was living in the USA, I’m learning that it’s even more challenging now that I’m in London. … that I’m in London. Every move I make, every word I say, is under the microscope. Becoming part of Nicky’s family while staying true to who I am isn’t easy.
Nicky makes everything worthwhile. The hours when we’re alone together are paradise. And if the press and the pressure are the price I have to pay for him . . . I’ll choose Nicky, every single time.
After all, London’s just another town. Right?

I had not read the first book in this series but had no problem getting right into this one. There was no feeling that I was missing any of the feelings or story line by not reading book 1. The characters were well developed and the whole book was well written as one always expects from Ms. Kandle.
Now I really have to go pick up the first book just to see how their love story begins.

All The Feels!
I could not put this book down! I was mesmerized by the world that Tawdra painted for us. I actually felt like I was in England planning a royal wedding and breaking a few rules while keeping to the traditions that are important. I was so thrown by all the twists and turns and I had to take a few minutes..okay hours…okay, I had to come back to it the next day!…after one particular Topsy-Turvy drop. I laughed. I cried–both sad and happy tears. I swooned. I yearned to see the actual dresses because I honestly think that Tawdra should have her own line and wedding planning business, just saying. She made everything feel complete, but made us yearn for more in the follow up book, “Anti-Cinderella Conquers the World”.

This Is another great book by this author. The characters continue to be as exciting and well defined as the previous book the 2nd continues where the first one left off.

The Anti Cinderella Takes London by Tawdra Kandle a five-star read that will take you on a fairy tale adventure. This is the second novel in the Anti-Cinderella chronicles, but it can be read stand alone, I haven’t read the first one in the series and didn’t feel too lost. But I will pick number one up to read at a future date. This is such an emotional roller-coaster of a story, you will fall in love with Kyra and Nicky. Get ready to fall in love with this story.
This sequel included everything I had hoped for and more…including *spoilers* not one but two engagements and 2 ot one but TWO marriages! Ahh! Such a great book. It was lovely to see Kyra learn how to maintain being her own person while still navigating how to fit into a royal family. Loved every moment of it…can’t wait for the next!

A little like Kate and Meghan.
Kyra Duncan has moved to London to date Nicky. Or rather, Prince Nicholas.
She’s in waiting.
He’s seeing if she’ll stick with it.
He’s a grandson of the queen but not in line to inherit.
They believe in good causes and working to support them.
Will there be a wedding in store for these two?

FANTASTIC!
Enjoyable read with an emotionally packed storyline that gives you all the feels you seek from a fantastic read. Engrossing twists and thrilling chemistry! An exceptionally well written read that will be impossible to put down!
Kyra and Nicky’s story continues in the second installment of the series. Although this is a standalone and can be read without reading the first book, The Anti-Cinderella there are carryover characters and storylines. You will not be lost though if you didn’t pick up the first copy.
Kyra is an American who grew up on the Florida beaches with her childhood friend Nicky. Oh and by the way Nicky is Prince Nicholas Windsor, grandson to the Queen of England. Kyra and Nicky come together as grown ups and rekindle their close friendship. Along the way they start to have feelings for each other and explore those in the first book. This book explores their relationship now that Kyra has moved to London to be with Nicky.
Nicky proposes to Kyra and they start to plan their wedding. We get to see Handsome and Honey again, Kyra’s grandparents, as well as her parents and sisters. Family is very important to both Kyra and Nicky so they have a lot of interaction with family members.
Kyra needs to learn how to behave now that she will be joining the royal family. She needs to tone down the anti Cinderella vibe she puts out there, testing the patience of many royal staff hired to help her transition.
Nicky and Kyra have a few bumps in the road on their way to happily ever after. Some cameos by Shelby and Sophie lead me to think they soon will get a story of their own, yay. Another great story by the author and can’t wait for the 3rd installment of this series.
Kyra and Prince Nicholas return, and their anti-fairytale continues. While Kyra struggles to learn all the protocols required of a member of the Royal Family, Nicky encourages her to be herself and establish her own path, which she does in her own very inimitable fashion.
This is a delightful continuation of their wonderful love story. Fair warning, it has a few heart-wrenching moments, which will bring you to tears, but it’s an amazing ride from beginning to end. Kyra and Nicky are the couple you love getting to know and never want to forget.
If you haven’t had a chance to read “The Anti-Cinderella,” you’ll still find this book extremely engaging and entertaining and well worth it. I highly recommend you not miss this one, and while you’re at it, go ahead and read the whole series. After all, there’s still more to come!!
Kyra and Nicky’s story is a fairytale come true. Commoner marries a Prince and they all live happily ever after, but along the way we get to see some of the difficulties of being a public figure. Kyra can’t go sightseeing or out to a pub or any of the other things normal people get to do when they move to a new country. She has to learn how to act and what she can and can’t do but she does it all to be with the guy she loves. There are lots of family drama and some steamy scenes to keep you interested. There are lots of characters that we want to know more about to keep the series going. I look forward to reading more of the series.
In this second book things get serious for Ky and her prince, and they get very lonely.
Ky will face separation and being a bit on the outside as the live in girlfriend to her prince – no official status, no official functions.
She will also face the loss of one or more people close to her – her best bud is a long ways away, Honey is ill off and on, and her sisters lead really different lives from hers now.
finding a balance between the royal and the real is proving to be an ongoing challenge.
after the ball, someone has to clean up – and folks get back to daily life.
what happens to a prince and his love, even one who is not at all close to the throne?
sweet and sad as things get more real for the couple. New threats on the horizon with security and family issues.
