I love the way that Damion has finally getting his story. I also love the surprises in his backstory. Matt and Damion are so well suited for each other and bring out the best in each other. I enjoyed this story a lot and found it a good addition to the collection.
I listened to audio version which a really enjoyed very much.
Independent reviewer for Gay Romance Reviews, I was gifted the audio file of this book.
Excuse me, a moment please, while I have a hissy fit.
NO! No, no no no nope! I don’t wanna! I don’t wanna write my review for this book, because that will mean this series has finished, and I don’t want it to be!! *insert wailing noises. *insert stomping foot noises. *insert throwing toys out the pram noises. *insert noises along the lines of “I’ll scream and scream until I’m sick”!
And breathe.
So, now I’ve had my hissy fit, spat my dummy and all that jazz, here’s what I thought about this last book in the Single Dad Support Group series.
While listening to this series, KnotMyProblem has been a bit of an enigma. He hasn’t mentioned a child, at all and we get the whole sorry story about how he came to be in the group! And he was a bit of a d8ck to Aaron (The Proposal, book 2), Gage’s favourite a88hole! (That did make me chuckle, that Damian won’t use his name!) But here? Here we get Damian in all his glory. And the fall out is massive, given the metric f*ck ton of glitter that went into this book!
I mean, not only did Damian glitter-bomb Matthew’s room in Fiji, but when Damian gets his revenge on the idiot at work?? I was walking, and I had to stop, sit on the side of the road and just bask in all the glory that is KnotMyProblem on the warpath! It was truly glorious.
While Damian does all this, he also falls in love with a boy we met when he was just 16 years old, alone and pregnant. Matthew is ALL grown up now, his daughter is 4 years old and Damian is JUST the man for him, just the Daddy for him: the one he didn’t know he needed.
And I think that’s what I loved most about this. Matthew did NOT question his feeling for Damian, he did not question when Damian tells him about his need to look after his boy, and he did not, not once, question the love between them.
I could understand why Gwynning (Matthew’s dad) does what he does when he found out, but I cried a little for him when he talks to Matthew about his relationship with Damian. It was quite an emotional chat.
Michael Ferraiuolo narrates, as he does with the whole series. I loved the narration, I really did. His voices for all the characters are consistant all the way through. I loved how he gets across all the emotions of the characters. But I equally love the way he narrates the chats in the group.
I have no doubt I would have loved this series had I read it, but the narration takes it to a whole new level.
I have loved a lot with this group of men. I have cried and cheered, I have swore and sobbed. And I have loved every minute of these guys. It’s always, ALWAYS sad when a series ends, but I seem to be especially attached to these guys!
Thank you, Ms Scott for writing about these guys, I truly loved them. And than YOU Mr Ferraiuolo for bringing to life.
5 stars for the narration
5 stars for the book
5 stars overall, but really I want to give the whole series elevenity-billion stars!

Glitter Goodness (an audio review)
I love Piper Scott. I’m loving the Single Dad Support Group Series. So, naturally, I loved The Answer.
Matthew had been introduced in the very first book and I knew he’d get his own story. It’s been almost four years since he had his daughter Emily and she’s grown into quite a lovely little girl. Being raised alongside her aunt is a cute notion. Anyway, Matthew spends his days caring for the girls, but he’s ready for more. He was a teen dad when he had Emily and he’s now eyeing going back to school. And although he’s not officially a member of the Single Dad Support Group, he’s been invited to the wedding of one of the group.
And he finally meets the elusive Damian. Now, he doesn’t know Damian is one of his dad’s best friends and there’s instant chemistry. Once Matthew makes the connection, and once Damian faces up to the potential consequences of bedding his buddy’s son, they decide to keep their distance. Except I knew that wasn’t going to hold.
But breaking unspoken rules has consequences. Yes, Damian wants a boy and Matthew wants a Daddy, but the distance between Aurora and New York City is pretty big. Unless there’s something that might bring them together. And something that might impact their lives forever.
I loved this book. Have I said that already? I’ll say it again. It’s in the top ten for laugh-out-loud fun. Glitter. That stuff gets everywhere. I mean, EVERYWHERE. So needless to say, I laughed my tush off. I don’t have kids so I avoid the crap like the plague. These men in the support group? It’s a thing. Just another thing to bond over. And the love between them is palpable. I’ve watched the group evolve, struggle, and come out stronger.
Finally, I have to mention Michael Ferraiuolo. His ability to bring these characters to life is heart-warming. I’ve loved every moment of this series and he’s a big reason why. He and Ms. Scott are a match made in audio heaven.
Audiobook review:
Overall – 5
Performance – 5
Story – 5
A good conclusion to the series.
I’m going to miss the guys in the Single Dad Support Group. While you might be able to read this book as a standalone, I think you’ll get a lot more out of it if you’ve read the others in the series. It was so much fun to have the whole gang back together again to celebrate the wedding of one of the group’s members.
Damien/KnotMyProblem literally runs into Matthew when he first gets to Fiji and there’s an instant lusty connection between the two. And then Damien learns Matthew’s name and realizes that nothing can come of the lust because Matthew is the son of one of the group members.
It’s been a while since I listened to the other books in this story so I don’t know if I missed the fact that Damien/Knot isn’t really a single dad at all and that he got into the group by accident or if I’ve just forgotten. In any case, I found that to be interesting and humorous.
I really enjoyed everything about this book. There’s humor and some angst and suspense, all elements of a great story. Once again, Michael Ferraiuolo gave an outstanding performance with all of the different character voices he used in this story. I highly recommend this book and series.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.
The Answer is the sixth book in the Single Dad Support Group series, a contemporary omegaverse series, and brings the series to a sweet conclusion. Although this book could be read as a standalone, it is so much better if the series is read in order. All the characters have such a rich history with each other, and it is really worth it to watch them grown and develop throughout the series.
Damien, aka KnotMyProblem, has watched each and everyone of his friends find love, leaving him the odd man out. An unexpected meeting with Matthew changes everything. Matthew was a teenage dad who had to lean on his family to escape a bad situation. Now, he’s finally finding his footing and moving forward with his life as an adult. What he doesn’t expect is to find love on a tropical island…with his father’s friend. The relationship between Damien and Matthew is so endearing and adorable as well as extremely steamy and delicious. There was some drama and angst, but there was also a lot of humor and laugh-out-loud moments. I was utterly charmed by this story and loved every moment of it.
Not a standalone – you simply MUST read the other books in the series (because they’re all AWESOME!).
Knot is my favourite character from the series and it kills me that he had to be the last to get his HEA – but what a sweet HEA it is. Matthew is perfect for Damien and our Knot (Damien’s online username) is so completely ready to have a boy to take care of and adore.
The unravelling of the events – from the infamous GlitterWar (TM) in Fiji and all through Damien’s work struggles are all so brilliantly told by Piper with passion, humour and raw emotions that the reader is completely swept up in the maelstrom of feelings, leaving us smiling, panting and perhaps even with a tear in our eye.
The narration by Michael Ferrauiolo – once again – adds a whole new layer to the story, especially when it comes to the interactions with the children. His amazing voice bringing to life Emily’s antics made my heart explode!
My life is now complete that this wonderful series is all in Audio and all mine to listen to (or read) whenever I need to revisit my favourite Single Dads.
A hilarious Series. I love these books.
I read this series and this book back in 2020. Now I am rereading/listening on audible and loving it all over again.
The Single Dads Support Group are a group that started off messaging each other through the Internet but then finally met for a wedding. Now they have a babysitting support group for the ones who are local.
Knott finally gets his story; even though he’s a single dad, he isn’t, but things may change.
This book is full of glitter bombs, placentas, falling for your best friends son, holiday in Fiji.
This story has lots of snark, revenge, humour and laugh out loud moments.
These books contain MPREG, Age gap, Daddy/boy, Humour, Alpha/Omega, Glitter and obviously a HEA.
I couldn’t recommend them enough.
Exceptional narration from Michael Ferraiuolo, but I did listen on audible at 1.25 speed.

This might be my favorite of the series. While I’m sad to see this series go, I’m so glad it ended on such a high note.
This was a very sweet and kinky romance. I thought Matthew and Damien were the perfect match. They really brought out the best in each other and complimented one another really well. Emily, Matthew’s daughter brought some humor to the story and seeing Damien interact with the other single dad always made me smile.
Every single one of these books has been amazing. I loved the idea behind it, I loved the loyalty and camaraderie between the characters. I definitely recommend all of these books.
I read this book without paying attention to the fact that it is book 6 in a series. I haven’t read the other books, so there were a few times when I was confused or wished I knew more about the history of the characters. (An example would be the placenta jokes.) However, the romance between Matthew and Damien takes place completely within this book, and it is wonderful. These men help each other to grow up, and they become a couple the reader can’t help but love.
I enjoyed this story so much, I plan to go back to the beginning and read the series in order. As far as this romance goes, I do recommend it!
The Answer by author, Piper Scott is the sixth and final installment to the Single Dad Support Group series. This book should be read in order. You so get the jokes and personalities are much better that way.
First off Glitter wars!! Let the sparkles shine and infiltrate your very soul. There is laughter, fun, and angst. This book has it all.
I particularly liked learning more about our elusive Knott. He was always a central part of the fun, but we never really got to know what made him tick till this book. He has many layers, they surprised even me. And leave it to Knott to fall for the one man he shouldn’t.
Matthew is the son of one of the dads in the support group. And let me tell you he is a sweetie. He has a daughter who is smart and just amazing. I loved getting to know them both.
Mostly I loved how everything in this story wrapped up. There are many loose ends that found closure, and many areas we see the dads grow and find out what is next for them. Mostly you will find love and laughter in this story. It is a great ending to an amazing series.
Recommended Read and Five shooting Stars
This is an entertaining MM romance with a beautiful, humorous well-written story-line and plot. The main characters are quite unique with complex personalities; there is some good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a single father (Matthew) comes into contact with a rather confidant man (Damien aka Knot) & the attractions flare, Matthew’s precocious daughter (Emily), mild twists, drama, humor, attractions, verbal banter, heat issues, longings, flirting, complications, a daddy/boy relationship, some light daddy kink, emotional feelings, surprises, family issues, compromises, pranks, love, happiness, steamy scenes & a sweet epilogue.
I am so sad that this is the last of the series, but love the way it ended! Knot is truly and important character and I am glad he found his HEA with Matthew! I love the glitter and the reunion with the rest of the single dads! So much fun and glitterly moments!
The Answer is the sixth book in the Single Dad Support Group series by Piper Scott. It is absolutely amazing! The book has humor, steam, family, drama and romance. I didnt want it to end.
I am in love with Knot and Matthew. Damien, aka Knot, works hard but the way he let’s go with his friends is great. Matthew is exactly what he needs in his life. They definitely fit perfectly together. I loved reading their story. The supporting characters are freaking’ incredible. We get to see all our favorite Single (not so single) dads and their hijinks. I am going to miss these characters.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
What an awesome story of love, friendship, partners, family, glitter and placentas! Have loved this whole series and so sad to see it end but oh Knots story with Matthew is perfect! Another winner from Piper.
