I enjoyed reading The Amazon Code. Good combination of fast action and good characters.
Interesting plot, some times predictable, but really enjoyed it
This is a new author for me. I love his writing. This book grabs you from the beginning. I found myself reading the book all the way thru. Great characters too. You feel like you’re right there, in the middle of the action. I look forward to reading more of these books.
Medical thriller, this was book 2 but you didn’t need to read book 1 to understand what was going on. The story gave enough background to move it along.
Really liked this story. A page turner and a great ending.
Like that the characters are made up of different skill sets – not cookie cutter people. Ones that you can see being friends with. Some of the situations that they find themselves in are a little off the wall but it’s the feeling of friendship & family that keeps things interesting. Like that the characters are flawed more like real people that you would know. Story line keeps things interesting & wanting for more at the end of the book.
Slow at first, then gets better
If you like adventure novels in the vein of Steve Berry or Cussler then this book should be right up your alley. Sit down with a drink, in a comfortable chair and spend a few hours in the Amazon, you’ll enjoy yourself.
I enjoyed the story.
Takes you on a pleasant trip far away very enjoyable a few sad parts but it’s a real getaway.

Suspenseful, couldn’t put down
average thriller, but not exceptional. Despite the predictability factor and the middle of the road tension, it was not a really fast read. Easy to put down and pick up later.
This book built dlowly then kept you in the edge of my seat. I was a little bit disappointed in the ending, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
I began reading this book, not knowing what to expect, and enjoyed the progress. Earth and life as we know it hanging on the efforts of handfuls of anarchy in the military. Honestly I was determined to finish this, but they lost me racing for the second sanctuary underground shelter. Too complicated for me.
I like the whole series. Easy to read and keeps you interested
The book was a page turner. Kept me wanting to read more. Only draw back was the ending. Don’t want to ruin it for anyone but I thought that he could have have a different and more exciting place that they discovered.
Quit reading, just did not find it engrossing
I listened to this book, so part of my review deals with the narrator. First, story: overall, not bad. Interesting characters, and just enough details to get a clear picture of them. I got a sense of what the environment of the Amazon river basin. The first few chapters were long, and as I got into the story, chapter length went in the opposite direction — way opposite. 74 chapters could have been condensed into 50, at least. The narrator/reader: I loved his deep voice, and he did a decent job differentiating the characters, even the women. However, many, many times he didn’t articulate, and even mispronounced words. That became annoying, but not enough for me to quit the book. I would give this a mild recommend.
Captivating.
