Cybersecurity super-sleuth Frank Adversego finds himself trapped in a power play between the FBI and the CIA as hackers try to destroy the USA. Only by defeating the Alexandria Project can he clear himself. “THE ALEXANDRIA PROJECT is fiction that cuts close to the bone. But where George Orwell envisioned 1984 from the safety of thirty-five years out, the future that Updegrove describes may … describes may already be upon us. That’s what makes it dangerous, and that’s what makes THE ALEXANDRIA PROJECT an important as well as riveting read.”

Great book easy fast read page turner can’t put it down
This is a good read. I liked the aloof Frank and his daughter, great duo
Different and refreshing concept. Great characters and story line.
If you ever read Richard Hooker’s “M.A.S.H.,” you know that sometimes the movie is better than the book. If a movie were made “The Alexandria Project,” that movie would be better than the book.
Great book
ok,
As this is a first book in a series, I have somewhat different requirements for it than I would a stand alone novel. Fortunately, it meets those advanced standards. The Characters have depth and yet still can show more of themselves in further books. The plot was sufficiently complex to involve the reader and kept the readers interest throughout the book. I plan to buy the next book. That’s the best recommendation I can give a series book.
Loved this book and can’t wait for another by this author.
Fun book and entertaining quick read, especially for those involved in or intrigued by telecommunications and cyber security. Hey kids, great field to pursue!! Helpful little hints for survivalists and preppers. Scary stuff for those who work in the cyber field. Things could go to Hell in the cyber handbag in one byte.
Who would think this could happen but it could
A good book that starts with a simple character building and finishes with a happy and funny end. In between there are tons of characters, places and actions that include everything – spies, hackers, the White House, North Korea’s leadership, CIA, FBI, computer games, satellites, GPS database, nukes, family ties, premonitions, ingenuity, …huh!
Dragged at times, but an interesting premise. Once it got going it moved quickly.
Excellent conspiracy theory book
Unfortunately I gave up about 1/3 if the way in – I read for relaxation, to escape the reality of not-so-subtle political bias ad innuendo. This book is full of it. I would prefer the author wrote for the enjoyment of his readers and not to promote a political bias.
A fare read
Slow to read.
Likable characters, good plot. Definitely worth the time.
A little too disjointed. Characters were weak. Could have developed storyline into a real interesting book but it fell short, in my opinion.
Too cyber technical for me. Didn’t finish
Good read. Fast moving
