Daughter of Time: Llywelyn and Meg, a medieval man with an uncertain destiny and a modern woman with a troubled past. Only by working together can they navigate the shifting allegiances that threaten the very existence of Wales-and create their own history that defies the laws of time.
Footsteps in Time: Anna is driving her aunt’s minivan with her brother, David, when she crashes through time and finds herself in the middle of an ambush of Llywelyn, the last Prince of Wales. It is December 1282, and the English have attacked, hoping to eliminate the Welsh rebels forever. Instead, the siblings save Llywelyn’s life and embark on a journey that transforms not only themselves but an entire world.
Footsteps in Time is the story of what might have happened had Llywelyn lived.
And what happens to the two teenagers who save him.
Winds of Time: No travel is simple for Meg, not even a commuter flight, and especially not when she finds herself in the Middle Ages again instead of in a plane crash on a mountain side in Oregon. Meg will need every last bit of maturity she gained in her years in the modern world to survive even a day in this one.
Prince of Time: David and his man-at-arms, Ieuan, find themselves alone and on the run from a company of English soldiers who’ve sworn vengeance for the recent death of their king. Meanwhile, Llywelyn lays on his deathbed from a traitor’s arrow. And once again, it is David and Anna, and all they represent, that holds the key to the survival of Wales.
“Sarah Woodbury is my new favorite author. Daughter of Time reminds me of Outlander and 1632, with a fresh twist. I read all the books in the After Cilmeri series in four days! Long after I finished the last book, the stories and characters stayed in my mind, and I kept wishing I could return the world Sarah so skillfully created. I can’t wait for the next book and the next …” — Debra Holland, New York Times bestselling author of the Montana Sky Series. more
This series is amazing!!! 8 out of 5 stars!!!
Getting down to the last 2 books and it has been a great ride!
One of the best series I’ve ever read.
Love the whole series
The series, you HAVE to do the series. I read one of the middle books, and then another, another and another. Now trying go back to get things in order so I can keep track of the characters (now where did she come from, who is that?, etc.) The books have also inspired me to go back and look at history to see if I can really place things happening …
Better than another time travel to old Scotland series that I tead
Loved the series. Easy to get lost in the climate of the story.
Sarah Woodbury has written an easy to read series that gives you both fantasy and history. Her characters are well developed, history well researched. I am enjoying the series as a wonderful ‘take me away’ read. My only complaint is that the books are short. Woodbury has been compared to Diana Gabaldon, and while the basics of time travel apply in …
I’m in love, what more can I say?
These are such great books to read. I haven’t quite finished the entire series, just up to book 9. I adore them so far. It’s been a while since I got my hands on a good time travel book like these. It reminds of that movie “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” meaning, you really wish this is what really happened in history.
This is a collection of three books. While the story line is very good, there is quite a bit of Welsh dialog, which is fine if the reader speaks Welsh, but for those of us who don’t, this makes the reading go slower as one tries to decipher the names of the characters (most of which are in Welsh) and the names of the towns, castles, etc. While …
I really like this author and all of her books.
I loved the whole series! Delightful characters, engaging plots, and dynamic setting.
I could not put this series down. It is different from any time travel novels I have read. Since this series contains 14 books the characters are well developed. The history included in the day to day life of medieval times is informative. There is humor throughout the books as well as tragedy, and hope. This a series of…what if.
These books are great! It’s almost like a time machine. Romance and mystery. Very good read Some!
Strongly researched historical time travel novels. Excellent characters, who bring their 21st century ideas into medieval Wales delicately with awareness of how culture is not something to change overnight. I loved these books. Also not too graphic. Characters grow and develop. They made me curious about my Welsh ancestry.
