The message was undeniable… Fight for her.Six months after her divorce, Hope St. Cloud is struggling with her guilt over leaving her daughter’s father. She needs a fresh perspective, and she knows exactly how to find it—by spending the summer at her family’s cottage in Sea Glass Cove. Surrounded by abundant peace and fond childhood memories, Hope and her daughter will be able to find a new rhythm … able to find a new rhythm with just the two of them.
Nothing could’ve prepared her for the immediate and tantalizing attraction to local gallery owner Owen McKinney. Or for his instant connection with her shy daughter.
It’s been three years since the accident that stole everything Owen held dear. That’s more than enough time to mourn and move on, but he can’t seem to let go… until Hope and her adorable daughter stroll into his gallery. In them, he finds everything he lost—all the joy and adventure that comes with being a family. But Hope’s divorce is still fresh, and he’s afraid she might’ve made a mistake divorcing her husband.
Then a sign straight from his past makes it clear he can’t let them walk away.

Always enjoy books by Susie O’Connell. They are romance books that focus on the resonance and not the sex.
A heartfelt second chance story of two people so very deserving of love. The scenery is as much a character in this story as people and what a story it is. READ THIS BOOK!
Just a very nice read … quite enjoyable.
Nice easy read. Predictable but good
i just couldn’t put it down

This is not the type of book I usually read. I’ll try them every once in a while, but it’s not a go-to or something I think I’ll usually like. This book however, I’m so happy I picked it up. I absolutely love this story. It’s not just a love story. It’s hardships and trials. There is a lot of heavy topics in this story, and they were dealt with in an amazing way. I highly recommend this story. The characters were amazing. The pacing was amazing start to finish. I was flying through this book. It’s a nice, face paced, and beautiful story. The plot was great. Yes, there was a bit insta-love, but it worked for the story. You really did get to know the characters, and learn a lot about them. I don’t know how realistic some aspects were, but it’s such a beautiful story that I don’t mind it.
I cannot wait to read the second book in this series. I sadly have to wait for it. However, I do have another book she wrote, and I’m so excited to dive into it and read it.
Story of loss and new found love.
Good read!
It was nice but kings of boring
Families trying to get their lives back after heartbreaking loss and divorce. Loved this book and the answers it provided.
happy ever after story
I loved the story line, and the calming scenes talking about the beach, and his hunt for shells. I could not put the book down. It was definitely a good read!!
Trashy with amoral characters and plot. Exposing her child to her jumping from divorce straight to a very public affair is not positive behavior from the supposed heroine.
Although my faith in men has faltered for many years I am pleasantly surprised to learn that there is some good men who have convictions and are a testimony to God’s live
Good read
Love story with a bittersweet twist!
A good read for a cosy, sitting in front of the fireplace, weekend.
