FREE Faking my own death came with a higher price tag than I expected. I joined the Army and left behind everything. A life I hated. And the only woman I had ever loved. I thought I was doing the right thing, but my good intentions quickly turned into my biggest regret. One night. One kiss. One final farewell was all I was allowed before I was sent overseas never to return. I took my love for … love for her to my grave. Year after year, I hide in the shadows and watch Lily mourn. She sits by a cold headstone and spills her secrets to a dead man. So many times I wanted to comfort her, tell her the truth, love her. But I couldn’t. She’d never understand. The man she’d loved was gone, and it was my fault he never returned. But when a terrorist out for revenge threatens Lily’s safety, I’m forced out of the darkness. My secret is exposed, and I’m going to claim the one woman I have no business loving. Freeing JasperThe moment Jasper heard Emily Jenkins’ sultry voice he was transfixed. An instant and heated reaction that wound its way through his soul and warmed his skin. The inexplicable connection was broken as fast as it began. Emily has a son. Jasper doesn’t “do” kids. When her life spirals out of control, will Jasper be able to let go of his tragic past and save Emily and her son? Or has the Special Forces Soldier found his weakness – a history he cannot let go of? Emily Jenkins lost her husband on the battlefield and was left to pick up the pieces of her broken heart while finding a way to raise her son alone. Jasper Walker is known for being the playboy of his team. Professionally, he is a tier one assassin – a trained killer. Personally, he blows through women giving them no more than a week in his bed as he privately struggles to move on from the woman that is forever lost to him. When their lives collide, Jasper finds out he’s not the only one with secrets. There is more to the black-haired beauty Emily than a widowed single mother. Finally FreeBlake Porter was one of the lucky ones. She’d met the man she was going to marry while she was in high school. She thought she was living a fairytale; the nerdy wannabe journalist dating the gorgeous star quarterback. One wrong move proved to irrevocably alter the course of their lives. Betrayed by the girl he loved, Levi McCoy left for the Army and never looked back. Blake’s deception pierced his soul and shattered his heart. He used the pain to his advantage and became cold and calculating – the perfect Black Ops soldier. Over a decade later, the 707 has been called in to rescue a reporter embedded in a deadly terrorist cell, and Levi’s shocked to learn it’s the one woman who’d once owned his heart. But Blake is no longer the naive teenager she’d once pretended to be. She’s something far more dangerous. With bombs exploding, blood being spilled, and the terrorists closing in, they both battle the memories of their beautiful beginnings and shared history. Levi and Blake face off in a showdown of wills. In one corner, Levi is determined not to fall for the woman he’s never stopped loving. In the other, Blake tries to hold on to her self-respect and not beg Levi to hear the truth. When the lies and deception are revealed will they survive with their hearts and lives intact? FREEDOMShe’s the game changer he wishes he’d never met. Nolan Clark is the last man standing. While he is happy his teammates have found love, he’s even happier to be single. But fate is a funny thing. When a one-night stand turns into a friends with benefits agreement, he starts to question why he’s holding the beautiful Reagan at arm’s length. He knows she’s dangerous and should end their arrangement but the sex is too good and she is too… much. He’s the regret of a lifetime! Nolan Clark should’ve been off-limits. He’s my closest friend’s teammate and a man that I’m not prepared for.

I like to think I know what I’m getting when I read a RE book, but the truth of the matter is that other than knowing I’ll be meeting a HOT alpha (most likely military) man, a strong woman who knows her own mind and that I will probably laugh and cry in equal measure and feel like I’ve been through the emotional ringer…..the truth is I never really do.
Each of these stories is stand-alone in its own right, but trust (and believe) you will not be able to stop at just the one, which is why this box set is all you will ever need when it comes to the 707 (of course that’s before you discover there is a whole next gen and beyond thing going on but I wouldn’t let that ruin your day…)
Each of this characters builds gradually through the series which is why reading them in order does make the most sense, and why when you finally get to Nolan’s story you have the patience to understand him given what he has done previously for his brothers (he being the sole reason Blake and Levi got a final chance for instance)
The characters are lovable, you definitely feel engaged with them and follow this journey alongside them in the books. The world building is amazing (I can even forgive the Dallas style time lapses that developed over the wider series ;)) and you get dragged along this wild ride of emotion in each of the books till the characters crash land into a HEA that at various points you though had a cat in hells chance of actually happening.
Heart pumping, by the end of each story you will need a lie down in a dark room with a glass of something strong to recover and recollect what the heck just happened, before giving serious consideration to calling in sick to your job and starting again from chapter 1…
I adore this author and always eagerly await her mew releases. A definite go to for me.
Loved all four books. Loved the characters and how close they all are, like one big happy family. Can’t wait to read the Next Generation books.
Loved this series
Free – Book 1
I only recently discovered Riley’s books with the Gemini series so I decided I was going to do myself a favour and buy some box sets! After finding a reading order I decided to start with the 707 series as I know there are some new books coming out and I’m eager to get stuck into them
Suffice to say this story was fantastic! It flowed well, the characters were amazing and the couple’s chemistry was off the chart hot Lily and Shane grew up together but he decides not long after finishing school that he’s going to join the military. Not long after that he dies, leaving Lily alone to grieve him. But twelve years later, her life is in danger and suddenly Shane reappears and her life that she knew is gone
Can’t wait to read the rest of this series
Freeing Jasper – Book 2
Jasper’s story is the second in the 707 Freedom series and I’m kicking my own butt because I’ve seen Riley’s name around but held off reading her work but I’m fully immersed now and I’m not holding back
Jasper’s story is full of emotions. His past is so sad but when he meets Emily, he’s attracted to her but pulls back after finding out she has a child, but not for the reasons she’s thinking Suffice to say when he goes into the bank one afternoon and he sees Emily at the teller and in danger because of a bank heist…all bets are off and the kid gloves come off too
Loved this story and I’m looking forward to reading the next two
Finally Free – Book 3
Holy smokes
Wow, anything I read by Riley I swear flies by so quickly I’m left going….it’s over? Only because I want more I loved Levi’s story not only because it was the polar opposite of the man I’ve come to know in the first two free books but also because Blake was so kick@ss too A fast paced story that will keep you on your toes and hopefully much like me CRAVING the next story like an addict
Freedom – Book 4
Freedom comes at a price
Nolan is the final man on his four man team that is single. When Reagan arrives in town to visit before moving down to Florida, Nolan is completely taken with her Not one to admit his feelings after everything he’s been through, they agree to a no strings attached relationship. However, when the past comes back to bite him..Reagan stands by him. When she does finally leave for Florida, no one could’ve predicted what would happen next and just how much danger Reagan was in
A bit of a slow start to this one after reading Levi and Blake’s story but I still loved it and these couples I’m looking forward to reading the next generation books
I enjoyed the story and characters, but there were spelling and grammatical errors
that would take me out of the story. Because of this, I gave 3 stars. I read this series as well as The Next Generation and Gemini Group. Again, I enjoyed the stories and characters, but all had spelling and grammatical errors that would disrupt reading. If they were read by an editor, Ms. Edwards needs to find a new one.
Riley Edwards can’t write a bad book!
I really like the characters, I would like some more of the 701
I really enjoyed all four books. I will be looking for more from this author.
Love this author !! Everything she writes is awesome.
Free
Lily and Lennox go way Back, but circumstances – namely his fake-death – kept them apart for twelve years. The fact that he only reveals to her that he’s alive after all, he only does to keep her save from his line of work. Unfortunately his enemies are always a step ahead and nearly everything was for naught… Denying his love for her, almost breaks the,m, Not only him but Lily as well. So it’s a good thing to have buddies that keep you straight and wash your head to get you to think clearly again. A very emotional story about betrayal, trust and true love
Freeing Jasper
That story is almost as heartbreakingly wonderful as the first one in the series. Jasper very much has some demons from his past he has to face before he will be anywhere near being able to proceed with Emily. Such a sweet story with lots of testosterone going on. You get the whole team again and some extra characters, just as in the first book.
Finally free
Blake and Levi have known and hated each other for the last 12 years. Nether of them expected to see the other one ever again due to the betrayal both of them thought the other one committed. Fortunately out of circumstances they could control the re-meet in a rather unexpected situation where the two of th have to work together and more importantly trust each other to get it of.
Freedom
Wow. I thought the previous books in the series we’re amazing, but this one tops everything off. Reagan is such a wonderful character and just perfect for Clark. He just doesn’t realise it before she moves to Florida and out of his life. Being cheated on by the person you vowed to love for the rest of your life, made a mess out of Clark. It’s only Rea, who got some sad things happening in her past to her relative, that can relight the fire within Clark. And when her life’s in jeopardy, he moves heaven and earth to get to her. The only question that remains whether it’ll be in time or to late.
A very, very good series I absolutely enjoyed reading.
This box set is perfect for Black Ops fans especially those who love to binge read a series all at once, without having to wait for those new releases! Loved every single book in this series, though Freedom-Clark’s story, will always hold a special place in my heart..
