No one has set foot on Earth in centuries — until now.
Ever since a devastating nuclear war, humanity has lived on spaceships far above Earth’s radioactive surface. Now, one hundred juvenile delinquents — considered expendable by society — are being sent on a dangerous mission: to recolonize the planet. It could be their second chance at life…or it could be a suicide mission.
CLARKE was … mission.
CLARKE was arrested for treason, though she’s haunted by the memory of what she really did. WELLS, the chancellor’s son, came to Earth for the girl he loves — but will she ever forgive him? Reckless BELLAMY fought his way onto the transport pod to protect his sister, the other half of the only pair of siblings in the universe. And GLASS managed to escape back onto the ship, only to find that life there is just as dangerous as she feared it would be on Earth.
Confronted with a savage land and haunted by secrets from their pasts, the hundred must fight to survive. They were never meant to be heroes, but they may be mankind’s last hope.

Absolutely adored this book! The action and drama are wonderfully combined to make an awesome sci-fi book!
The 100 by Kass Morgan is a great series. It’s a post-apocalyptic about a 100 teenagers who are tasked with making sure the earth is survivable again. It’s a great way to pass the time, and is very interesting, much like it’s tv counterpart.
If you enjoy The 100, then I highly recommend checking out the books, in part because the show and books bear almost no resemblance to each other, sharing only a few character names and settings. Yet both are good in their own right! I often enjoy books told from multiple POVs and this book had four main characters (Clarke, Wells, Bellamy and …
I love this book series. I’m obsessed with the show, now the books too.
Good read!
Now don’t let the badness of this book affect the television show. I’m going to admit something, the only reason why I read the book is because I was boycotting the television show after a certain character died in 3×09 if you have watched it you know whose death I am talking about. So I thought I’d read the book and see how it was. You should all …
Honestly, i have not read the book yet but the show is AMAZING!!
So, I watched Season one of the TV version of this series. I really did enjoy it, but then life got in the way and I found it hard to keep up with TV shows. I fully intend to pick it back up and watch the show, perhaps even more, now that I’ve read the book.
I like how, in addition to getting view points from characters on Earth, we also get …
Very good. Read as a primer prior to
watching the Netflix series.
I wanted to read this for such a long time, after being intrigued by trailers for the TV show, and was not disappointed! I’m already waiting for book 2 to download so I can devour that one too!
I absolutely LOVE this book! AND there is a TV series??!
Hmm… the TV show is amazing, but as for the book, Clarke is the only character who isn’t a complete idiot. Still an interesting read though.
I loved the show just like i loved the books.
