“Careful what you wish for, love.”WILLAWilla Locke, crappy psychic and crappier bartender, is battling some demons. Literally. She just wants to run away from it all and be normal for once. Why can’t she have the perfect happy life that seems to come so damn easy to everyone else?Thankfully, she knows of one very suave, very self-indulgent djinn who might just be willing to help her if the price … be willing to help her if the price is right.
POE
Poe Blackwell has lived for centuries by two rules: always look out for number one (ahem, himself) and never get thy hands dirty. Well, unless he stood to gain something. And the only thing Poe has ever wanted is power.
So when Willa comes to him looking for a deal, his first thought is: what do I get out of this?
Willa claims to know the name of his soul mate. In the world of djinn, a soul mate is a gateway to incredible power. If he can find this woman and bind himself to her, he would always be the most powerful man in the room.
But as their deal plays out and Poe spends more time with Willa, he starts to feel an insufferable attraction to her. What the bloody hell is going on? Why can’t he stop thinking of her? And why does he suddenly want to protect her from her demons?
When it comes down to it, Poe is faced with a choice: power or love?
Two Deals is the second book in the Blackwell Djinn series, a steamy paranormal romance about four handsome and powerful djinn brothers. Two Deals can be read as a standalone. HEA and no cliffhangers.

Another amazing book in the continuation of the Djinn series!! Hearing the deals and how to Poe handles the outcome is incredible! Oh my goodness the way it goes is just WOW! Reading this book I laugh, cry and got upset yet I can not wait to get the next book!

This is the second book in the Blackwell Djinn series. Willa is a bartender in a bar owned by the Blackwell brothers as well as a psychic. Poe is the older brother who feels he was abandoned by his family and had asked Willa to do a reading for him. Of course she has refused. She needs the help of a djinn to save her sister. There’s lots of action, suspense and hot scenes. I enjoyed this one as much as the first book, but it’s really not necessary to read them in order. Hard to put down. The characters are like real life – for a fantasy. I recommend this second book.
I received this book free of charge and I am leaving my honest review.
I really enjoyed this story. Loved the characters and the storyline. Both are very well written. I was drawn into the story from the beginning. I recommend reading this book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I could not put this book down. This book is about a man (djinn) that wants his true mate but he is not sure if that is what he wants. Poe Blackwell could not keep his eyes off Willa Locke why she bartender. Willa is a psychic but she does not use it any more because of her sister.
Poe the Djinn and Willa the psychic are strong characters that fight against their attraction to each other while trying to help Willa’s sister. Poe just wants Willa to reveal his fated mate and Willa tries hard not to because of the danger surrounding the reveal. Will they each get what they want? This story was full of adventure and intrigue and great returning characters along with new ones. Good read

Imagine how incredible would it be to have 3 magical wishes from a Djinn. Now imagine a lifetime of dreams can come true because you are the equivalent of a Djinn’s soul mate. Add in a smattering of magical beings, (both light and dark), family, suspense and (of course), romance and you have the makings of, not just a great book, but an amazing series. I, for one, can’t wait to read the next one. You however, should go get your copy and start reading today!

The second book in the Blackwell Djinn series a well written story that held my interest until the end. Willa and Poe’s story has twists, turns, evil, suspense, drama, and romance a book I enjoyed reading. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Willa Locke was human, a psychic who could only find insight through tarot cards – but like her bartending skills, she wasn’t very good at it. A blonde ordered a blueberry martini that didn’t turn out right, even after a second attempt. Willa was about to tell the blonde what she could do with the drink when Poe Blackwell intervened to keep the peace. The handsome djinn convinced the girl she wanted a regular martini, and Willa hurried to make it for her. She needed to finish with her customers and check on her younger sister Raina, a witch, who had a tendency to get into trouble and had been out of sight for more than an hour now.
Poe leaned against a brick support column upstairs and watched Willa work. His brother Dae, who owned the bar, popped up next to him. Poe told him Willa once again wouldn’t do a reading for him. Dae knew immediately Poe was trying to find his caeli, his fated soul mate. Dae told him that their grandfather, Red, wanted to see them regarding a letter, probably about Caleb Corvin who was human, but who had a lot of supernatural connections. When Poe started to decline the request, Dae grabbed his arm and they reappeared in Blackwell House. Red handed Poe the letter from a psychic which read, “‘Poe, don’t be afraid to sacrifice yourself.’” No one knew what it meant or how it related to the problem with Caleb Corvin.
Raina becomes possessed by a demon and attacks Willa who realizes she will need help saving her sister. The first person she thinks to run to is Poe. In desperation, she makes a deal to tell him who his caeli is if he can help her with Raina. But she can’t do it. Will Willa be able to save her sister from the demon? What will happen between Willa and Poe? And what will Poe do since he has obvious feelings for Willa and things are becoming more clear to him – can he save the sisters? Willa’s cards say there will be a terrible price to pay. The psychic predicted Poe should not be afraid to sacrifice himself. Who exactly will have to pay the price?
I loved this story and found it well-written and easy to read. The characters were presented well, their strengths and weaknesses revealed to the reader. Willa has always done for her sister and taken little for herself. Poe has felt betrayed by his family and does not trust easily. With so much going on, will someone be lost along the way? Grab your copy and see where Fate leads them.
This is a great paranormal read filled with magic, drama, action, secrets and some hot chemistry! A great storyline with twists and turns, a centuries old djinn, a psychic and demons, what more could you want!
What a great second book in the Blackwell Djinn Series!! Poe and Willa are great characters, well written, and compelling. You get a great sense of how they feel about their families, their disappointments, their responsibilities, and fears for them. Willa knows he truth of who she is to Poe, but feels letting him know will be a burden to him. The story has great flow, interesting twists and turns, but above all unfailing family loyalty. Love this series!!
*****I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review!*****
I’m loving this series and I thought this book was a wonderful addition to it. This is Willa and Poe’s story. Poe was totally swoony! On the surface he is a loner, a player and carries a large chip on his shoulder. He firmly believes that he needs no one and stubborn should be his middle name. Trust me though there is so much more to discover about him. As for Willa, I thought she was a wonderful character that was genuine and relatable. She is sweet, determined, protective and a devoted sister. If you were to ask her about herself, she wouldn’t just say she was average, she would probably tell you she couldn’t even begin to make that grade. The chemistry is very intense between these characters as they both bargain to get what they want from the other. The storyline is attention grabbing and offers a entertaining blend of drama, suspense, danger, heart, humor, heat and twists. It was just so good!!! I’m already eager for the next book. This is my honest, voluntary review.
Tricky demon is no match for this Caeli Bond
Two Deals (Blackwell Djinn Series Book 2) by Nikki Kardnov is a very well written paranormal romance that’s all about sacrifice.
These Blackwell Djinn are in the midst of some trouble that always seems to come with a little warning but the warning is never clear so of course they are never prepared.
Poe and his mark, Willa enter a deal then have to battle a demon which of course does not go according to plan! Romance, danger, suspense, paranormal events occur and life threatening sacrifices are made. These two are clearly connected, but there’s many things getting in their way, but mostly themselves. Willa is a very strong woman with a deep loyal and protective streak. Poe is the brooding bad boy who avoids any and all connections since “everyone” leaves him or fails to be there for him. However, once he and Will a enter a deal, some of that begins to change and he becomes the protective alpha, saving the day.
Overall a very well written paranormal romance with a great plot, wonderful characters, HEA for Poe and Willa as well as hints of what is to come next and it seems like it’s gonna be explosive! Can’t wait!!
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. This book had me hooked from start to finish.Willa is a savvy and she believes that she is psychik that she knows who is his assistant mat. Po tries to find his mate, but could not find her, does he believe.

Wow i have never read this author before but I really love this book theres passion a brooding hot Djinn really all the brothers sound hot. And lots of family drama and a evil Demon.
Poe Blackwell is thousand year old Djinn who grants wishes so he can manifeat his power he has about 61 deals left before he dies but if he found his Caeli he could live longer and always have his power theres one person who maybe able to help but so far she has refused him. But thats okay Poe doesn’t think he needs anyone theres always another wish to grant. But now his Grandfather Red says he may have to sacrifice himself after a message is delivered. But Poe doesn’t do things for other people unless he can get something from it.
Willa Locke day job bartender I’m bad at it my life’s a mess and all the family I have left is my sister Raina and she is real messed up a witch with a demon addiction and a boyfriend thats trouble Caleb Corvin a shaddy human with otherworldly connections. All Willa wants is her sister back the way she was before Rozen the Demon got a hold of her and she dose some really bad things when he is in control. After one incident Willa has know choice but to seek Poe out if she can just save her sister all she has to do is make the deal and tell Poe who his Caeli is but what he doesn’t know is she has known for some time who it is but if she tells him she could put him in danger be careful what you wish for especially if it’s a mustang Djinn deals are very tricky and this one could cause someone there life.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
I enjoyed reading this fascinating paranormal romance. The plot is well-written and filled with unique, characters that continue to develop throughout a well-paced story-line. There is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a tarot card psychic & bartender (Willa Locke) determined to save her sister (Raina) approaches a Djinn (Poe Blackwell) & the story begins from here, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, humor, adventure, action, magic, demons, witches, psychics, danger, threats, conflict, violence, memories, misunderstandings, warnings, devious intentions, manipulations, ultimatums, determination, soul mates, love, some steam & a satisfying conclusion.
Another great book to the series and the author does not disappoint. She holds nothing back in this action packed adventure, bringing a paranormal romance filled with drama, twists and turns, intrigue, humor and love. It’s well written with strong well developed characters and detailed scenes and moves quickly and smoothly.I loved reading Poe and Willa’s story and am looking forward to the next book. Highly recommend reading.
Willa Locke is many things, a tarot card reading psychic, a bartender at Dae Blackwell’s club and sister to Raina. She is tired of her crappy life living from one disaster to another. She tries to save her sister from her demons, work to support them and this leaves very little time for Willa to have her own life. She would love to have a normal life. The one thing she can look forward to is Dae’s brother Poe that frequents Club Drav.
Poe is the second to oldest of the Blackwell brothers. He is one of the immortal Djinn. He lives to grant wishes and he only wants to find his fated soulmate, his caeli. When a djinn is mate bonded to his caeli he is invoked with wonderous and powerful magic.
Willa knows that Poe wants to find his caeli and she thinks that Poe can help her with her sister. Both are desperate to get what they want. Willa tells Poe that if they make a “Deal” she will tell him who his caeli is and where to find her.
Neither Willa or Poe will know what might happen when a deal is struck and what sacrifices will have to be made. Willa has read the tarot cards and knows that she will have to try to save her sister at a terrible cost but who will pay?
Oh my goodness, I loved Three Wishes the first book in this series but this one, Two Deals puts you on a rollercoaster of action, ups and downs and twisty demons. Interesting characters and settings. I simply cannot wait for the next one. Love, Love, Love, this new series.
Willa (the MFC) is a bartender, ex-tarot card reader and someone djinn Poe Blackwell is very interested in. To help her sister who she looks out for like a mother Willa ends up making a deal with Poe which as from previous books never seems to work out being straight forward. Plenty of love, action and a bit of sex make for an enjoyable read. This book doesn’t disappoint but then i love this series in general
First let me state that I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
Holy shiznet!!! I couldn’t put it down. Having a caeli {fated mate}, is the most important thing for a djinn. So Poe is searching for his, and will do anything to find her. Willa believes she is nothing special as a human, but she does have some psychic ability. This story has a demon in it along with Poe & Willa doing some crazy stuff. Oh, and I can’t wait to read the next story. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
